Interestingly, as expected, the various social media platforms and internet connectivity therein are sketchy and intermittent as the critical USA midterm election nears.
As we have done in the past, today we solicit reader feedback on the sentiment in/around your area as the midterm election nears. What is your local sense of the tone, voter intent, enthusiasm or lack therein, in the last 72 hours before election day on Tuesday.
This request comes with a very important and specific qualifier, DO NOT USE social media to gauge or report your sense of where things stand. The reasoning is simple; the algorithm you are exposed to is not necessarily the reality of your environment. The information being fed into the data system that holds your specific attributes, is purchased and created specifically to provide you a specific sense.
Whether you realize it or not, your algorithm is the culmination of specific identifiable definitions of your personage and your interests. That algorithm id may or may not represent you, but it is sold and used in order to influence your decision-making on a variety of aspects from commerce (purchasing decisions) to behavioral modification (influences).
As a consequence, the best view of the reality in your vicinity is what you personally experience in real life, not during your travels on the internet. With that thought in mind, what is your sense of the voting intent in/around your proximity?
From my own travels what I can identify with ease is the promoted narrative about abundant enthusiasm for leftist candidates is mostly false. I cannot identify any substantive enthusiasm to vote for the communist agenda of the Democrat Socialists or any other manufactured policy of the political left in real life.
Sure, online and in the media, there is a specific pipeline of information operating at maximum output to promote a blue wave premise. However, in real life -during my travels- I do not see that same level of enthusiasm claimed by oppositional advocates.
To the contrary, the datapoints and behavior of the political left indicate they are ‘trying’ to generate the illusion of something, as well as create some self-fulfilling prophecies. The appearances of President Obama in Detroit on behalf of Al-Sayed is an example. Obama is only deployed to get out the black vote. If the Muslim Brotherhood candidate was ahead in Michigan, Obama simply wouldn’t be there.
Additionally, the proverbial lawn sign indicators do not lend favor to a blue wave narrative.
That said, Georgia and Texas will be interesting to watch play out. Both of those states have been targeted by the various BLM, and DSA level operatives for several years. However, while they have succeeded in Georgia, they have not had a similar success in Texas – despite the lone star state being specifically vulnerable due to the Bush camp’s comfort with the larger socialist cause.
President Trump, DHS, ICE, DOJ and HSI have done all they can to trigger fear amid the professional population of election operatives who deploy fraudulent ballot operations as part of their electoral strategy. The Lawfare alliance has been spending billions to counteract this election integrity operation. It is yet to be determined which one will ultimately end up tipping the scale amid the various illegal voter systems.
What we can judge with some accuracy is the sense in our vicinity. What is the intent of our family? What do our neighbors say? What is the sense within our local community? These are measures of real sentiments that can be adequately assembled to provide a larger predictive sense.
Taking the social media network and subsequent algorithmic feed out of the equation, what is the reality of the sentiment in your area as best it can be judged?

Red wave feel here locally in this city in Pinal County, AZ
Born & Bred New Yorker here (now a NC xplant). Don’t know what the area here (Wake Cty) is doing.. Raleigh & Durham (who knows) no signs or bumper stickers. However, family (many in NY) & friends are strictly conservative and a huge DJT supporters.
Voted early along with grand dtr first time voter — GOP down the line. We were hoping to get Mark Robinson in for gov last time around – which didn’t work out well!
Central Florida is red. Lines at the early voting office were obviously Republican.
Northern DE here. Voted early last week. I was surprised how many voters I encountered at 10:30am on a Tuesday. Lots of “FIRE COONS” signs out and about. That’s senaturd Chris (bald headed and bald faced liar) Coons of the infamous J6 Communist committee.
Unfortunately Wilmington (mostly 13%ers) and Dover usually carry the Dems across the finish line but I know at least 2 of my sons voted straight R as did I.
As Arte Johnson said way back when….”Very Interesting……but stupid”. Sounds like democratic talking points to me.
Good luck, we finally got rid of Corn-nine.
I am in the 8th congressional district of Pennsylvania. We have a tight race between Republican incumbent Rob Bresnahan and Democrat mayor of Scranton Paige Cognetti. The democrat lawn signs aren’t as prevalent as in 2024. There’s a stronger campaign for Bresnahan than I’ve seen since he was elected initially. In mostly blue Lackawanna county, I believe our Republican congressman will hold his seat. Rs have really stepped up their game to get out and vote. These two just had a livestream debate and Cognetti tanked, giggling while saying ‘aliens don’t participate in our elections’. 🤦🏻♀️
Here in Washington we are voting to repeal the “millionaires” tax
including the Supreme Court Justices that will eventually decide the case. The State is rife with fraud, praying for the best.
Amen!!!
Las Vegas here. I voted in person early. They make it very easy. No ID needed, but they checked if my signature matched my registration card. I had to sign two or three times on the screen before the poll worker was satisfied. (She was able to pull up my original on her screen.) Two amendments on the ballot: Voter ID w/citizenship proof. And abortion as a right up to full term. My sense is the cheating from 2020 is under control. (The hotel worker union mailed in ballots of all the workers laid off from COVID. The signature match was set to ZERO, so they sailed right through.) I’m hoping the Susie Lee (D) is beaten by the Republican, who has run a good campaign. I think Gov Lombardo (R) will be re-elected. JMO
Metairie, LA here. The most enthusiasm and discussion here are all the local races (judges, PSC), and the dozen state constitution amendments. Scalise’s district, don’t expect that to change. Now who will fill Sen. Cassidy’s seat, that’s looking like a tight race. Letlow is a bad candidate, even though she got Trump’s endorsement in the primary. We may end up with the Democrat, Dixon. Not that that would be much different, from votes wise in Congress, than Cassidy. Might affect the balance of power, though.
Middle Tennessee here………
Airwaves in the Nashville area are flooded with ads from the independent ex felon candidate for Gov, Hatley. Marsha Blackburn has maybe half as many ads, and the Dem, a woman named Green, even fewer. I fully expect Blackburn to win easily…the margin may not be quite as large because Hatley may draw more GOP leaners than Dem leaners. I did like one Blackburn ad where she is featured pledged to NOT let TN become NY or California 🙂
In my area there are 2 seemingly contested House races: CD #5 has GOP candidate Charlie Hatcher, a local dairy farmer, running against the current DEM mayor of Columbia TN, Chaz Molder. Hatcher defeated the incumbent GOP House member, Andy Ogles, in the primary — so it’s being portrayed as if Molder has a good chance.
The other area race is CD #9, where the GOP candidate is Brent Taylor, running against the Dem Justin Pearson. This one is in a district formed in large part by the elimination of Memphis as a CD where the current House member was Steve Cohen, a flaming Marxist. The redistricting caused him to not even try again. Pearson is a loony leftist State House member who is infamous in part for being extremely disruptive on the floor of the TN legislature proceedings related to gun control and thus being temporarily expelled. A real piece of work. Taylor should roll.
A few years ago TN had 7 GOP and 2 Dem House members — the Dems being from Nashville and Memphis. A few years ago the TN legislature split Nashville up, and we went to 8 GOP and 1 Dem. Last year Memphis was split up, so I fully expect TN will send 9 GOPers to the House Tuesday.
GOP Sen Bill Haggerty is running for reelection with no real opposition.
Note: if Blackburn wins her race for TN GOV, then SHE will have the authority to appoint her replacement in the US Senate. The appointee would serve until the next REGULAR election, which would be Nov 2028. I haven’t seen any speculation as to who might get this appointment — but I’m reasonably confident it will NOT be a RINO 🙂
Texas here. I’m betting on Paxton whose signs outnumber talafreako by 10 to 1 in my area.
Talarico strikes me as Beto retreaded.
Worse…much, much worse.
Maybe not as stupid, but miles and miles loonier.
Oh, that’s great news!
Reminds me of all the Trump signs compared to Hillary signs in FL during the ’16 race.
It was easily 20/1 across N Florida.
Pearson is a nut. Rs will win the rest.
Decent chance Blackburn appoints Hegseth.
In all of Molder’s prior elections in Maury County in several precincts he received more votes than senate and governor Democrat candidates, in other words Republicans voted for Republicans except for Democrat Molder. I have never met a republican that voted for him, but he received thousands of R votes. We have paper ballots now and it is going to be interesting.
Minnesota here. Voted by mail. Old duffer down the road complaining about President Trump will probably vote Democrat throughout the ballot. His son lives down the road also. Recently retired from US Steel mine. Pretty sure his whole family are Democrats. They just don’t act crazy. Many friends and co-workers voting Republican. Trying to do our part to cancel out all the Somali votes.
Tarrant County Texas here, My wife and I voted solid red down the ballot. Long lines on the first day of voting. A little nervous on comments in the line, but have faith in the message. Not many lawn signs in the neighborhoods. An underlying sense of urgency and threat of insane woke policy if Talirico gets elected.
Sundance it amazes me how many people do not have a clue what is going on in our Country. I was speaking to a couple of members of my church who said they really didn’t know who to vote for or what was really on our ballots as far as the initiatives. To be far the initiative languages is written in such convoluted legal language that some attorneys would be hard pressed to figure out how to vote on them. I then explained what would happen if you voted yes or no to an initiative and they were flabbergasted. Our Pastor told everyone they should vote and reminded them to vote. He also mentioned they should vote their Biblical values. So, a group of about 20 of us got together and discussed every vote and the candidates and why we either like them or not. Then we all voted. Then we prayed over our ballots that we made the right choice and asked God to intervene where we hadn’t. Many had not bothered to vote in years. We also talked to our other Christian friend from other churches and told them what our plan was and they were going to do something similar.
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit; both now and ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
Try to pray and fast in these hours and days leading up to and after the polls close on Tuesday.
AMEN
LAST WEEK IN QUEENS NYC I SAW AT LEAST 5 BLAKEMAN FOR GOV SIGNS IN ELMHURST AND NEARBY AREAS. THERE ARE LOTS OF REPUBS IN MY AREA SO NOT OUT OF THE ORDINARY. ON ANOTHER NOTE REGARDING FOOD AFFORDABLE PRICES SUPER MARKETS HAD HAD LOTS OF ITEMS I HAVE NOT SEEN THIS LOW IN DECADES. MILK $2.98GAl, XL. EGGS $1.49 DZ, CHICKEN THIGHS .99lb. THOMAS ENGLISH MUFFINS 12 FOR 1.99. GOLDEN POTATOES $3 for 5lbs, GROUND MEAT $3.4 LB. CHICKEN BREASTS $1.99lb. NY STRIP STEAK $9.99 A BIT HIGH BUT TREATING MYSELF. THE JUNK FOODS, CHIPS, SODA CANDY EXSPENSIVE BUT YOU DONT NEED TO EAT THIS JUNK. NO WAY ANYONE WHO HAS SHOPPED AS MUCH AS ME CAN SAY THESE ARE NOT GREAT PRICES. NEXT!
Montgomery County Texas and Harris County. Reports here indicated presidential election levels of early voting activity. Long lines every day at local early voting locations. Polling staff said they were very busy, lots of 1st time voters.
Montgomery County, north of Houston is 80% republican.
Rural Alabama here. Alabama is reliably red and I expect it to stay that way. No early voting here, we are retired and don’t do social media so our primary contacts and indicators are family and close neighbors. All conservatives.
always tricky to gauge here in Illinois.
most folks keep their heads down and try to remain grey
so as not to invite negative consequences.
having said that, i am somewhat optimistic due to conversations
i’ve had at the grocery store and the like.
(“optimistic” here means noticeably improved vote totals for the R’s
so as to scare The Machine and add to PT’s political bank account. 😎)
one twenty something really caught my attention the other day
as i was groaning over prices during checkout.
she commented “they just keep going up, too, but that’s Illinois.”
i looked at her in amazement.
“that’s Illinois…” she had said – not Trump, not Republicans, not congress –
“THAT’S ILLINOIS”.
“it’s really good you understand that, because it’s true” i said, “you’re a smart young lady”.
i wished her a VERY good day, and walked away, SMH at such an unexpected exchange.😊
“Tricky” to gauge Illinois?
How so? It’s reliably Dem for any Federal or Statewide office.
there is a reliable 35-40%, maybe 42%, underground conservative population here.
vote totals are how i monitor if the percentages go up, down , or stay the same.
also important for PT’s political savings account –
red votes in Illinois count, too!
but you’re right about The Democrat Borg here –
they got a scare last general election in the governor’s race
and they have surely beefed up their ballot schemes.👎🏻
sigh.
Out here in Long Island NY in Nassau & Suffolk mostly Blakeman signs everywhere. Sadly I know from experience not to get too hopeful for change in NY. Still too many knee-jerk dem voters not to mention the single party power they have here in this state. Instead of hopeless I’d like to be Hochul-less!
You mean you want…
Local rules…Not Hochul rules 🙂
Sundance, have you seen Anonymous Conservative today?
Both betting sites, Kalshi and Polymarket, are tweeting as if they are news sites, with wording like “BREAKING:” and “JUST IN:” with their ridiculous “odds” on people like Sayed and Talarico winning at stupidly high percentages, as well as the whole House itself.
It’s sickening that these sites are even allowed to portray their sites as legitimate prediction indicators.
Sucker bet… They make money when you bet big on a candidate and the candidate loses….
Betting markets are now being used by outside money to skew the odds for their candidate, far more effective than buying slots on TV. They’ve gone the way of polling which used to be quite accurate, now they’re just ways of establishing fake narratives.
If these two clowns were running successful campaigns they would surely be behaving differently. The tell, as they say, is in the telling.
Most people confuse ‘Odds percentages‘ with ‘Poll percentages’…
Lib activists know this & bet a few thousand dollars to skew the odds…
Knowing that their ‘media friends’ will pick it up as a ‘news story’
I travel SW Ohio to SE Ohio regularly.
Country it is rare to see a dimocrat sign. Vast majority red.
People I talk to universally do NOT like ramaswamy but most will vote for him because they sure as heck don’t want amy acton angel of death.
I the burbs around Cincinnasty they are a lot of blue signs but a number of red to be encouraging.
I have heard many ask why Ohio cannot get better candidates.
Voted early in Ct had to show ID
Bases on signs its probably 50/50
I am not optimistic for this area but i have hope the GOP can keep Senate
northern utah, once a deep red state but the only red sanctuary state since cox took office… we opted out of having a ballot mailed, but we both recvd one. Utah is 1 of 26 states (https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2026/11/27-states-win-doj-lawsuits-saying-they-cannot/) that still use ERIC for voter rolls, huge mistake. Motor voter rolls register not only legal citizens but illegal aliens as well & have allowed the lt gov who oversees elections (SoS usually) to hide voter data. The corruption and moral rot under this liberal lt gov and gov provide 0 transparency into utah elections…
We pray for the removal of the willful & wicked officials from positions of power, prominence and prestige. Open the eyes of those who are deceived and place people who stand for righteousness, lawful order and truth in the high places of government and influence. Whatever it takes… amen
As I drive around here in SW Ohio I flip off every acton and brown sign I see.
I have a question. Is this wrong???
😉
Well,
On the one hand –
I live in “Metro West” outside of Boston. Amid an amazing density of wealthy white liberalism. Something like 85% plus liberal/democrat.
So there is that vibe – with the “No Kings” lawn signs and the local regular chatterers proclaiming the need to “Fight Tyranny” and have “Courage”.
On the other hand –
Things (anti Trump) seem subdued compared to 2024. There is no key contested local or State race. They will all go to Democrat somethings. So nothing to key off of there.
But the sign holders and group shout outs are much much below last election. Possibly because all of Mass is in the bag for Democrats. Or maybe they are all just getting tired of protesting for the sake of protesting. And/or tired of giving money to Act Blue, SPLC, etc. to no local effect and maybe it just get stolen.
I don’t believe in early voting or mail-in ballots, as they allow the cheaters lead time to manufacture the exact number of fake ballots needed to overturn the will of the people.
I’ll let you know how it goes on Election Day when I vote in person.
SW Virginia – not many yard signs compared to 2024, about usual for mid terms.
from conversations splitter wedge issues like Israel, corruption are somewhat successful with persons in their 20s/30s. Told’em to saddle up go vote GOP anyway and hold their nose if they had to the alternative is terrible to contemplate.
Hoping the 3 amendment issues will fail – same sex marriage, felons voting and “reproductive rights”
It is my firm opinion after 26 years of observing Virginia local, state and federal elections that the rise of the machines is complete and in control of outcomes. Spook Guv (Spanberger) is consolidating her radical policies daily.
Early voting has been well underway for the last 2 weeks in St. Louis County MO. Many sites to vote at and the couple we’ve passed have had mostly full lots.
We have always voted on election day but we’re getting older. I’m praying that the brisk early voting coupled with the fact that MAGA doesn’t respond to polls will give us a chance to prevail.
And rid ourselves of the mostly useless politicians on “our team”.
Here i sw Va,…..many folk sat on the sofa and did not vote is how we got Spambuger the CIA plant as our gov.
the vets i work with are for helping PT and voting R.
the younger folk like at VT tend to lean to the left………….
I really don`t see a red or blue wave…….
lots of moaning about gas and electric cost and food cost………
I dont feel folks have the drive to vote like when PT is on the ticket…………
One of the big “wins” in the redistricting wars the past year was in defeating the Dems attempt to change the VA constitution to allow them to basically redistrict all but one or two GOP districts out of existence.
Given this “victory” — do you have a sense of whether the GOP will hold all or most of the seats they currently have?
L4….
I pray they will hold most …….it is not reported much by the msm..but a ton of folks here hate Gov Spamburger.
Raleigh here…we are going to get stuck with that Soros crook Cooper again. It gets bluer around here every year and I’m sick of it. I am the only one in this complex of 50 apts that flies the American flag! Everyone and their mother is offended by something. I will vote on Tuesday because early voting gives them a chance to lie about my vote.
El-Sayed is going to be interviewed now.
We’ll see what he says about Haley Stevens endorsing Mike Rogers.
Texas hill country, early voted, long line but it was the first day. By day 3, neighbor went, same long line. OK for our little hamlet that is unusual except in a presidential election. Pretty much solid red here but the lunatics are moving in more now. However I have only seen 1 Talafreako sign. When Beto ran we saw several of those but we know how that worked out. More to the north in “keep it weird, Austin” it is all Talafreako in the open, but we will see how that goes as well.. I have not talked to one person here who thought Jimmy boy had a snowballs chance of winning. That said neve turn your back on the cheating. Most real Texans see through his BS but the only real poll if 11-3.
NYS – Southern Catskill area, truly a beautiful place to live despite what is said about NY. Lots of visible signs and banners in support for Blakeman and Republicans. I’m in a strong Republican area and folks are PO’ed over fossil fuel restrictions for mowers, wood stoves, etc, and worry about more restrictions and likely higher taxes. Also, 10 miles from NJ where friends get red-faced talking about taxes & restrictions – a firearms license is now needed to buy a BB gun, UGH. Several small cities nearby, Democrat as you expect where teachers and civil servants are the big wheels living off the government teat. I can tell you that early voting is a big money maker for workers, if the pay was cut we would have one day voting only. Latest ‘No Kings’ rally was a dud and it’s not unusual to see some idiots still wearing face masks in shopping markets.
Connecticut here. A lot of Republican lawn signs. Very few democrat signs. Many Dems disaffected because their ox is being gored by their former beliefs.
NOVA – Alexandria City – Early voter turnout was strong, exceeding 2022 midterm levels by several thousands. This is in-person voting. By-mail ballots are allowed, but must be requested. They are not mailed out en masse like they are in CA or CO. That said, early voting is nowhere near presidential-election numbers.
Context: This area is inside the national capital beltway and is Super Deep Blue. City population is about 160,000 residents. Republican candidates consistently pull about 10 percent of the vote, if that. Dems have a strong GOTV effort here and the early voting period is 45 days.
Don Beyer (8th Congressional District) and Senator Warner (D) are on the ballot here. During the Dem party primary in August, Beyer cruised to an easy win over a crowded field that did not include any overt DSA candidates. But in reality, however, several D candidates espoused views consistent with DSA stances on the issues. IIRC, Warner ran unopposed.
Why turnout is above 2022 levels: This area is deeply angry over PDJT’s return to the White House and his treatment of the federal workforce. Left-leaning turnout is further motivated by three state constitutional questions on the ballot concerning gay marriage, abortion, and restoration of voting rights for former convicts.
Outlook: I expect that Arlington and Fairfax counties are experiencing the same high levels of turnout for the reasons stated above. The Republican House candidate doesn’t stand a chance. And Bert Kurosawa’s chances of defeating Warner require massive R turnout elsewhere in the state.
Not sure here in CT. A young guy is running for Gov.. Lamont did not do well in either debate
so we will see..
As a side note. Reported today that Senator Chris Murphy had a stroke he had arm numbness at his son
hockey game went to hospital tranferred to Johns Hopkins is awake alert they say the think he will make
full recovery..not that he was up for reelection but he likely won;t be all over TV right now with his TDS.
I’m way behind enemy lines.
“GOP” clearly making a better effort to get out the vote. That said, little if any effort to highlight and contrast consequences of DNC state rule.
Leftist presence has declined, however, one with a huge sign was encouraging people to specifically use drop boxes. Weird!?
Where are you?
Forgot to mention around here they have the polls open today, on a Sunday. I knew they had been doing some Saturdays, but wasn’t aware people could vote on a Sunday. No clue the turn out. The day I voted over 6,000 had already voted, that is pretty good for us.
The other day a man turned up two minutes late and couldn’t vote. He thought they were open til 5, it is 4:30. I do hope came back on another day.
Where is “here”?
And I find it very strange that early voting is still happening this close to Election Day. Here in TN early voting ended a week ago.
No change in anyone’s opinion of red vs. blue, people are entrenched.
People are seriously bummed out because of inflation, I would say it is as close to a single issue as we have.
Hopefully decent minded people will turn out, and won’t make the mistake of voting “independent”.
The folks that are so “bummed” about inflation who are about to choose the Party that had an order of magnitude worse inflation can only be described as flaming idiots 🙂
Voted early in the farthest NE area of Florida first day it was available since I was leaving for our 2nd home in WV until mid-November. Crowded & lines both when I went & my husband went to vote. Not unusual for our area to have lots of early voting due to it being an area of many 2 home owners. Our area used to be solidly red but the last 5-8 years have seen an influx of north-easterners who’ve brought their liberal ideology & voting records with them. Still should be solidly red as a whole. WV definitely going red but all candidates for most part here uniparty NWO puppets ultimately.
Central FL. Enthusiasm high. Voted early Wednesday. Long line. Trying to be objective and sense was majority of voters were R’s voting early. I think this is a good sign given many R’s wait till Election Day to vote. Many conversations with friends/neighbors. Dems remain brainwashed and stubborn IMHO. Tried to explain no reason for gasoline prices to be as high as they are for a country that is a net exporter of petroleum. But, but, but, diesel prices are through the roof! As a chemical engineer it’s hard to get Demwits to understand basic fractionationation, crude types and refinery configurations, and refinery closures in blue states’ effects.
I believed from the beginning that Trump would carry the midterms. I live in dark blue Northern California and these liberals that surround me are lightweights.
Plus, the revelations of fraud in the welfare state enabled by dem politicians and continued revelations of color revolutions created by USAID around the world and here in the USA have struck home.
An uncomfortable reality has hit the hearts of these silly liberals and their corrupt media handlers.
South central PA here. If you turn the TV off you wouldn’t know there is an election going on. Yard signs almost non-existent for either party. No bumper stickers seen. Ditto billboards. NOBODY on my street is discussing politics. The TV is saturated with anti-Scott Perry ads. I mute them, suppose many others do too. The area minus Harrisburg and the central part of York is red.
Idaho definitely a red wave no matter how much Boise Mayor Hotpants wants it to go blue!
In the southeast. Don’t know anyone at work or friends who are doing aren’t very serious about doing all they can to turn out solid deep red votes – regardless of age. Would ad that this is THE most active year of get-out-the-vote by the GOP in this area ever, via phone (calls and text), radio, and airwaves (at least during the college football games when I have the TV on). Have also seen signs haven’t seen before, both the yards they are in and what they say, with things like “Christians, it’s time to stand up for our nation – vote GOP, take a friend.” A lot more door-to-door canvassing by the GOP than in previous years. The ground game is very active, including by TPUSA which is a first in this area.
Here is my sense; I’m in Maryland. We have had cheating that favors leftism since the 50’s and 60’s, maybe longer.
Things here will never change in my lifetime, until the people that run this sham are arrested, incarcerated, or face corporal punishment.
But that has NEVER stopped me from voting in every single election since 1976.
and it won’t stop me from voting next Tuesday.
I am working for the Republicans as a Polling Observer in my area and as a Special Monitor in downtown Phoenix.
I work at the Ballot Tabulation Center (BTC) and Signature Tabulation.
I don’t want to be more specific because in each of these cases there is only one Republican Observer or Monitor and one Democrat. We are not allowed to talk to the employees doing the work only to each other and the Inspectors for each room . It is fascinating. We can only talk to the observers from the other parties.
My impressions so far are: They have tabulated more than 1/3 of registered voters already. Everything reported on the radio and TV news is inaccurate and actually funny because the stuff they say is not knowable.
Being a contrarian at heart, there are still ways they can cheat.
Since the only people I can chat with are the democrat observers, I have talked to more democrats in the past ten days than I have in years. They are shallow thinkers and several were horrible people. Some were really rich and described themselves as “bicoastal”. Every woman democrat brought up abortion to me thinking I suppose that they could win me over with “my body, my choice.” I didn’t engage as I am pro-life, think abortion is murder, and it isn’t your body, it’s the body of the baby.
These democrats reminded me of an episode of “Foyle’s War” I rewatched recently. The episode is called “Funk Hole”. During WWII, Londoners who were well-to-do and anxious to escape the London Blitz would rent rooms in country houses. These people were derided as cowards, thinking only of themselves and using their money for their own selfish comforts including getting more food than others. In one of the polling places which is in a rich area, that is what the democrat observers were like. Wealthy, at least one was very wealthy (maybe 100 million) with bicoastal homes, and insulated. All her houses were in gated communities. Her money was used to insulate Her husband and herself. But she voted democrat which showed she felt for the illegals. When I complained about the California beaches and the illegals, she said I don’t see that at all but then it turned out she only goes to 5 star hotels that have private beaches. Insulated.
Five of the democrats I spoke with used the same phrase in talking to me. Maricopa County is well-run and the elections are run well. If people only knew they would trust the election outcomes.” They might as well have said “safe and effective.” To me that was obviously a talking point they had been instructed to repeat. We were all trained on Zoom calls and telephone conferences on how to act, what to say, etc.
I was amazed at the absence of any deep thought about any political or social issues. They do like to repeat their slogans. They have all bought the narrative.
One other thing, the workers were temporary Maricopa County employees mostly either Democrats or Republicans and in some rooms they had to signal which they were by colored lanyards. Adjudications on ballots were done by one Democrat and one Republican.. If they disagreed, a libertarian was called over to cast the deciding vote. If it couldn’t be resolved, it went to the full time County Employeee who was the Inspector of the room. If still unresolved it went further up the chain. The temp employees were getting paid $18-$25 per hour with food truck tickets.
I don’t see this as ever ending because it is employing alot of people.. Retired people, retired school teachers, students.😊
In rooms, where you can tell visually whether the worker is Democrat or Republican, I was surprised to see that all the HIspanics I saw were wearing red. Those wearing blue looked like old white people or aging school teachers.
Wyoming has been taken over by liberals. Our primary is THE election and over 100M bought the state. Pray that the people vote for Rebecca Bextel as Governor to form a firewall against the takeover. If Barlow wins Wyoming will quickly become as blue as Colorado.
Upstate South Carolina, this area is very heavily pro-Trump. I sense that it will be a win for Darline Graham, in spite of the negative social media posts. Between the phony Republicans claiming to support Annie pro-tranny Andrews, and the write-in Ralph Norman crowd, it felt manufactured. Graham will win, even though we never wanted her.
Very heavy early voting which is interesting.
Resident of Florida 13 on the west coast of the east coast. I don’t see this district moving away from Anna Paulina Luna. I also see our Senate and Governor remaining Red, although by smaller margins that they should be, which just goes to show how crazy voters can be. Two years with no patience and they are ready to turn the economy back over to democratic rule. They have such short memories.
Montgomery County, Texas early voting locations were all showing massive early voting turnout. This is probably one of the most red counties in Texas but lines wrapped around the central Conroe library everyday for over a week.
I am a Republican precinct committeeman in Wayne County, Indiana. I have been going door-to-door on behalf of our State Senator and the entire ticket. The biggest threat in mostly Republican Indiana is Beau Bayh becoming Secretary of State. We elected an Hispanic SOC in 2022 who, according what I heard from legislators in our state, was doing a credible job on elections, but I believe being in such a high position went to his head and he made major mistakes. He purchased an expensive vehicle for his own travel, was on a trip to India when he should have been reporting to the legislature on his progress in the SOC office, hired some family members in his office, and (the last straw) hired someone who was not legally a citizen as his chief of staff. All of this was not defensible and the GOP dumped him and promoted a young DC staffer for Senator Jim Banks to replace Diego Morales. A former Republican mayor of Indianapolis also jumped into the race. as well as a Libertarian. The result is we have a very tight race. I am finding too many Republican voters saying they are leaning towards Beau Bayh to “clean things up.” The Democrats are successfully persuading people that the Republicans writ large are deep into corruption. Beau Bayh is the son of former Governor Evan Bayh, a moderate Democrat who was well-loved in Indiana. The name still has power. I( worry what could happen with Democrats in charge of our elections. Beau Bayh will advocate for mail-in voting for example, and I fear enough squishy Republicans could be intimidated by the Bayh name to support it. We must not allow Beau Bayh into the SOC job. Evan Bayh did the sane thing, using the office as a launch pad for governor. I have little doubt that is the plan here.
