I suspect most modern digital cameras can do the same.
Sure they can. But this was, as I recall, a several hundred if not thousand fps ultra-hi-res unit.
The kind you’d need if you wanted to read (say), inscriptions on a bullet in flight, or assess the droplet spray pattern from an exploding skull.

I don’t know if it’s true or not. But I do know that it’s plausible. Remember, these communists came up with the Russia, Russia hoax, the Ukraine hoax, Covid and the J6 hoax to topple the president. So this scenario is not impossible to imagine. Anyone who sits out these elections is effectively voting for communists.
You may not be happy with the wars or the price of gas and groceries, but the alternative is communism. There are too many complainers who don’t appreciate the good that President Trump has done. Not voting IS voting – and voting for anarchy.

I was thinking of Canada’s recent conflicts with the US, and joining the EU as all TDS related. Yes, there is a lot of Trump derangement going on. But I have expanded my perspective. Despite the TDS, the EU and Canada could just quiietly wait out Trump’s second term without seriously damaging our relationship. Instead, they are breaking with us as quickly as they can. Today I have come to the conclusion that their real concern is not President Trump but Elon Musk.
The EU made a serious mistake in 2014, when they laughed off Elon Musk and his announcement that SpaceX was going to persue reusable rockets. One of their big reasons for do ing so was completely European, they thought that if they started to reuse rockets, they would have to fire a lot of workers. Their space program was not much more than a jobs program to them.
Since 2014, SpaceX has developed reusable rockets, and their reusable Falcon 9 is the most reliable heavily used rocket ever. Now Spacex is moving on to Starship, which will drop prices down to 25% of Falcon 9, which has already pushed most competitors out of the market on price.

Reading the Prime Minister’s document, the technologies they write about read like a list of SpaceX/Tesla technologies.
Conclusion – The EU since its creation has competed with the US not by innovating, but adding new countries to boost its GDP. But now it sees itself as hopelessly behind the US in every key technology for the rest of the century. It feels it is in an existential crisis and it is the US , not China, or even Russia, that is causing it. They haven’t been able to get Elon Musk under control with regulations, from censoring X to Starlink. They are 20 years behind and falling further behind by the month. This is why the talk from the EU and Canada is very warlike, not business like. The EU has to militarize itself, because NATO includes the US, and the EU does not. NATO would use US technology. They can’t have that, because it means they would fall further behind. So they are militarizing the EU in order to develop the tech to compete with the US.

It is no secret, the big unknown in determining the winning party in the 2026 midterm elections is which party turns out their base to vote for their candidates.
“Turnout” has been the key in winning national elections for centuries.
Democrats have traditionally used “walk around $$” to get their voters to the polls to vote. They aren’t buying their vote (which is illegal), …wink, wink … but are paying them to get to the poll location (which is legal).
In that vein, President Trump has announced his promise to pay every American adult $5,000.00 if the results of the 2026 midterm elections maintain the Republicans majorities in the house and senate, aka republican candidate’s record more votes than their democrat opponents.
The conventional wisdom is that it is aimed at motivating the registered Republican voters to get out and cast their vote for the total republican ticket.

Going against the conventional wisdom, what if the unintended consequence of the $5,000.00 payout convinces democrat voters to stay home and do whatever democrat voters normally do on a typical day.
UC, that “unintended consequence” has the same result on the election as motivating the Republican base to vote:
“republican candidate’s record more votes than their democrat opponents”, aka maintain the Republicans majorities in the house and senate.

President Trump’s promise of $5,000.00 is for every American adult …… period, it is not qualified by the political party of the adult, nor whether they voted or not ….. just that the results of the 2026 midterm elections maintain the Republicans majorities in the house and senate.
President Trump’s promise of $5,000.00 amounts to 13.9% of their annual earnings for a single parent family. It is double for a two parent family resulting in 27.8 % of their annual earnings …… receiving over 1/4 of their annual earnings for what? …… for not going to the trouble of doing something, aka not voting.
Now, how easy of a sale is that to make in the final days of the lead up to 11/3/26?
If you are a democrat registered voter, stay home, don’t vote and you are practically guaranteed to earn $5,000.00. If you vote, you have a 50/50 chance of not getting the $5,000.00.
