DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin appears on CNN to reject the false premise established by Narrative Engineer Jake Tapper. Unfortunately for the constantly furrowed brow host, the facts of the events do not align with the attempted narrative. The result ends with a conversation about the delicate sensibilities of the illegal alien with a long felony record.

Has the main stream news always been a non-stop propaganda stream, or was I just clueless when I was younger?
You simply had not yet developed the discernment that comes with life experience!
We all were told they where honest.
You were clueless. I’m over 70 YO, and it’s been going on my ENTIRE life.
I suspected as much.
Over 80. To my personal knowledge they have been nothing but propaganda cesspools for close to 100 years. Since they now are owned by big investment groups it has on steroids. If, you removed Big Pharma revenue and election year revenue they couldn’t survive.
Even when I was a little kid I remember thinking and saying out loud, “That sounds like a lie, why are they even telling us that – it makes no sense ?!?” and asking my parents if it was really true.
Same thing while reading newspaper articles, which I was reading even before I started grade school.
None of it ever rang true, none of it. Ever.
One of the worst times was listening to Walter Cronkite talk about President Kennedy’s death in that fake-serious voice, the kind of voice where parents talk about Santa Claus watching every move everyone makes . . . and I remember from back then wondering why Santa Claws was watching people poop.

Just wider audiences today, but pretty much the same. Captured in two books I can think of: Day of the Jackals – Hollywood fiction about gossip columnists can make or break you nd then move on. And non-fiction David Halbertam’s Power that Be – the days of yellow journalism meets the Big Three Media giant before WWII.
Many of us were clueless. I left Fox decades ago. But I did not see the strings until the Treehouse. Once you see them you cannot unsee them.

Not just you but most of us were naive (some may have been clueless) when younger.
The problem is that far too many of today’s adults never developed good critical thinking skills and the ability to discern BS from truth. Why? Because public schools deliberately removed that goal of teaching from curriculums in the later 20th century as globalist influence & thinking took over the prominent sectors of our culture.
And Tapper again with the furrowed brow, see how serious I am? Lol

(I remember as a child making faces and my mother telling me that if I didn’t stop, my face would freeze like that. Apparently Tapper’s dear mother forgot to tell him. Every time I see him I think of that. So much so that I forget to listen to half of what he’s blathering on about.)

Joke Tapper phrases his questions in a confusing way that insinuates guilt, and then furrows his brow because the question was misunderstood or answered in a way he didn’t get what he wanted. The furrow is also a tactic that paints the guest as a problem.
“Oh my, look at my frown due to this guest and his answers.”

Just think how much time someone spent handing Tapper those snotty questions, one after another. Muilln was fantastic. Not a single apology from Tapper, that he got the facts in his “questions ” totally wrong. Just kept moving on to the next sneer-smears. Total crap, Tapper.

It was Walter Cronkite with his raised eyebrows when doing a story he disagreed with that first led me to understand the bias of the news media.

Wasn’t Walter Cronkite the first to start putting voice inflections into his speech and raised eyebrows and moustache swishing during certain Vietnam War narrations? That was the era too that MSM relished broadcasting todays video news clips of extremely gritty battle scenes onto our TV’s exactly in time so we could watch during supper time.. Where are the civil lawsuits against these mayors and governors for negligence in not following/enforcing the immigration laws. Every American life lost should have a wrongful death lawsuit right behind it. Swamp the courts, it is necessary and just. These sanctuary states should be sued into oblivion.
