Former Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard delivered a very strong speech to the audience of the Texas Youth Summit about the growing surveillance state. As DNI Tulsi Gabbard has direct personal knowledge of this issue. It is very well worth listening to this speech in full.
The second half of the speech touches upon the second concern noted by Gabbard, the spread of Islamist ideology and how it is against the core foundation of our constitutional republic. Tulsi explains why Islamic theology is antithetical to freedom and completely against American values. I know of no religion, other than Islam, whose ideal individual (PBUH) ordered the beheading of some 600 males, young male teens included.
Islam means “submission”; it is a “theocracy” – a “state religion” and tyrannical form of government, which violates the “Establishment Clause”.

But there are domestic enemies embedded in this America who wipe their feet on it, ignore it, and reinterpret the purpose of our Founding Fathers’ clear, unambiguous intent.
The past 25 years have been nothing if not instructive, that every word Tulsi spoke is not conjecture but reality. Inch by grotesque inch this nation has morphed into Orwell’s prescient 1949 warning.
Now imagine with the added layer of AI and the metastasizing data centres being built to store our private information in clear violation of the Fourth Amendment, as Tulsi notes.
She did not mince her words.
We are all in danger, lest any of us believe we are only watching from the cheap seats and won’t be dragged from them into the klieg lights of persecution and a complete despotism that would make Mao or Stalin green with envy.

Re: flock cameras
People should not be forced to choose between:
liberty, freedom
or
security
There are multiple miss identity accusations that occur to people – at an unreasonable cost to our legal liberty, freedom.
There are people (whom become tempted by access to technical tools) miss using flock cameras (and other names) to track people for selfish personal reasons – to miss control, or spontaneously intrude upon peoples privacy, freedom to be mobile and run reasonable errands.
People are not perfect.
There is a check and balance, due process law system to that should not be obfuscated by an over zealous surveillance system.

Yes, it is good that a nefarious planner (or 10) for shooting people at the Mall of America was caught before the shooting.
Yet, legal due process is still also being used in that case, and other cases.

I found Tulsi’s speech to be on par with Rubio’s speech in Greece for it’s important topic and the historic truths spoken.

Both Secretary Rubio’s remarks and hers should be required viewing/listening in every high school across the nation.
To countermand the copious amounts of poison being poured into the minds of young people who one day will either stand guard over this Republic or will have a hand in burning what’s left of it into ashes.

The only point which Tulsi misses…
In the UK, it is already against the law to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to publicly pray…even in silence. Doing so is labeled as “hate speech” for the purposes of prosecution by the British Thought Police. People have been dragged off British streets in cuffs for breaking the “law”.
