United Kingdom Prime Minister Andy Burnham and US President Donald Trump say they have established a good connection in their first meeting, despite differences on some foreign policy issues.
Talks as described covered Ukraine, Iran, the Strait of Hormuz, the Falkland Islands, and trade issues with Trump praising Burnham as a “natural businessperson.” President Trump was critical of the British plan to cede sovereignty of the Chagos Islands, calling it a “terrible deal,” while Burnham pledged to find a solution. Burnham has spent his adult life in politics (except for a short spell as a journalist). He doesn’t know a thing about business. The backhanded comment about Burnham’s business acumen was intended as a joke while PDJT wraps up deals worth trillions as England declines. PDJT loves comedy.

What a joke … the UK-PM never ever mentioned that the destruction of Israel is still in the Charter of the PLA and that it was the PLA that pulled out of as well as repudiated the 2-State Agreement made within the Oslo Accords in 1993-95.
How can the UK condemn the Hamas October Attack and then turn around to demand a 2-State solution with Hamas and Hezbollah as part of the solution. The reason President Trump did not allow the PLA leader a VISA, to attend the UN General Assembly meeting, is because he is a member of Hamas and allied with Hezbollah … and that PLA Leader was planning to meet with US based Islamic groups to stir up trouble.
The immigration comment was ludicrous when it is the UK Government still facilitating the import of immigrants who are benefit shopping across the EU .. making their way to the UK assisted by EU nations. The only reason there is a “reduction” in cross Channel traffic, to the UK, is because the EU nations have slowed the pipeline of bodies to the channel.
Is it really a “bilateral meeting” when one side is always so weak? Burnham, Macron, Carney, little Z, and so many others.
Not a unilateral meeting either, cuz there is a puppet in the opposite chair. Maybe it’s a “1 1/2 meeting”?
