During an impromptu press availability before boarding Airforce One, President Trump paused to talk to the assembled press pool. President Trump notes during a discussion with Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh he told him to just go along with the board decision to raise interest rates again. The board is highly political and operating against the interests of the USA through economic manipulation.
On the subject of Canada now being an “Associate Member” state within the European Union, President Trump noted if the new partnership takes action against the economic interests of the United States, he will consider it a “hostile act” and trigger larger tariffs against the EU. WATCH:
.

Carney and the EU are trying a “Pincer Movement” to flank Trump from two sides at once. Trump is smarter than they are.
This is an attempt to bully the USA by Canada and EU. Won’t get far.
All Trump has to do is wait for the US/Mexico bilateral treaty to finalize, then cancel the US/CAN treaty, and wait for the EU and CAN alliance to collapse. The lack of diesel fuel for EU is sauce on the fire. Only Russia and US can provide the energy the EU needs. EU wants a continuing war with Russia. Trump does not. Methinks EU will beg for a truce and CAN will ditch Carney before they go broke.
Watch for the weaknesses. EU will fold in a month. CAN will claw for ego sake, but capitulate in 2 months. Neither of them have the energy reserves to finish this bluff. Let them suffer. They deserve it.
Plus the possibility of new agreements with certain South America countries will add strength
President Trump told Fed Chairman Warsh to go along with the board’s decision on rates yet he posted on Truth Social that rates should be 1% or less.
I think his social media liaison needs a meeting.
The problem is that the Fed cannot measure inflation properly. They have messed around with the parameters. Going back to the 1980 standards would help determine what the real rate of inflation is.
Is the Fed unable, or unwilling to accurately report inflation rates over time?
Older methodologies would count the rates as being higher then what has been reported.
We know the Fed serves it’s own interests over that of the people of the United States.
A good point. Thanks. The Fed has already politicized itself by changing the parameters over the years. Unwilling is the better word to use in this case.
I used to visit ShadowStats for information on inflation and unemployment etc. Since they have changed to a subscription model I no longer have access. They are the source that uses the 1980 model to measure inflation.

…do we think the government AI cartel can be used to break the government monetary cartel?
I call BS on the Fed being political. Most people have no clue of what’s truly going on beneath the surface but you should know that we are in a debt crisis. When Scott “I am the House” Bessent thinks he can talk the Dollar down defending the Japanese Yen he’s going to find out how well that’s no going to work out.
When Scott “I am the house” Bessent becomes the buyer of our bond markets should tell everyone that we have a serious problem and I warned many times, of what was going to happen because he’s doing exactly what Clinton did in the 90’s and what Treasury Secretary Yellen did in 2024.
When Scott “I am the house” Bessent threatens countries doing business with Iran that they will be removed from the Dollar system (SWIFT) it only advances a stronger movement to the Cross-Border Interbank Payment System (CIPS)
Everyone thinks the Federal Reserve has so much power that by raising or lowering interest rates will solve all these issues, have truly no idea what they are talking about.
The Fed does not control government spending, fiscal deficits, taxation, energy, war, tariffs, shortages, or international capital flows. It can influence the price of short-term credit, but it cannot control DEMAND throughout an entire economy. It cannot stop Congress from spending another trillion dollars, force people to stop buying food or gasoline, prevent companies from investing when they see an opportunity, or manufacture oil when geopolitical events send energy prices higher.
On and On I can go but it will still not convince anyone. Why? Because it’s so much easier to blame others than accepting the truth that if one were to truly understand how everything we do is connected Globally through economics, that we might wake up and realize what fools we’ve become!
