Fauci is really old…
Not only did he go to Abraham Lincoln High School…
He played basketball with him. 🙂
Heard tell that Lincoln had quite the grape shot… 😉
I seen Fauci attempt to throw the first pitch at a baseball game, pathetic. Hate to say it Wordman, it must have been a different Fauci, the one we all know has not one ounce of athletic ability in his body. There is no way he was ever on any sport team.
Found the video of it
I’ve been off grid for the past 8 days. When coming out of the woods I notices flags at half staff and was wondering why. When I got home I looked into it and learned that Dolly Parton passed away and that President Trump sanctioned the lowering of the flag to honor her. She was Americana personified and President Trump has a soft spot in his heart for Americana. Rest in Peace Dolly.
Chrystia Freeland appeared utterly dumbfounded when CNBC interviewer, Joe Kernen, pointed out to her that Canada’s per capita growth over the last 10 years ranked dead last among the OECD’s 38 developed nations, (with a putrid 0.5% growth compared to the U.S., who ranked first among those same nations with an outstanding 20.7% growth!) AND Canada’s growth was projected to be dead last over the next 10 years!
Freeland immediately tried to switch the subject to China, but when Kernen pressed her to answer his question this is what she said: “On the Canadian economy, I am actually very bullish about the long-term prospects for the Canadian economy…”
This was followed by several minutes of rambling about Canada having what the world needs, “like Canada has a lot of natural gas…” she said. I was stun-stunned to hear a promo on natural gas coming from a dyed-purple-in-the-wool Green New Dealer like Chrystia Freeland…but I digress!
Kernen, to his credit, wouldn’t let her off the hook so she followed up with this gem: “This trade war, it’s going to hurt Canada, Canadians know that, the government has been very clear about it, but Canadians are prepared to take that pain because our sovereignty is worth it…”
Oh yeah? says who, Ms Freeland? And here’s who she says is her source for all that Snow Mexican masochism:
“…and it’s not just Mark Carney who saying that, even Harper, the former conservative Prime Minister of Canada said, very clearly that Canada should be prepared to endure any amount of economic harm to defend our sovereignty… and 75% of Canadians agree with that!”
That was enough for me, as Freeland tried blithely to make made the leap from ‘Canadians are prepared to take the pain’ to Canadians should be prepared to take the pain!
BTY, I searched and cannot find any poll to support Miss Chrystia’s contention that 75% of Canadians are raring to take on “any amount of economic harm to defend their sovereignty!”
But let’s not quibble over specious speculation trying really hard to be facts! Canada is Waist Deep in the Big Muddy…Kernen knows it, Freeland knows it…EVERYBODY knows it!
The best Canadians can hope for is that when the sh-t hits their fans, they won’t have the electricity to run them!
All that PDJT need now do is rename canada to can’tada.
