A back-in-the-day story. My little Alfa had a aluminum twin-cam engine designed for the Italian Autostrada which at the time didn’t have speed limits. The Italian designers equipped it with an 8 qt. oil sump. I could run flat out without overheating. The little engine could sing a happy song at speed.
