At the same time as Dept of Labor Inspector General Anthony D’Esposito launches an investigation into H1B visa abuses by corporations who engaged in visa fraud, Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh appoints advisors to the FED on labor policy that includes one of the most egregious violators of H1B fraud, XBox CEO Asha Sharma.
It is beyond frustrating to see our labor system for ‘qualified technical positions’ being abused by companies who are intentionally discriminating against American workers.
American born Asha Sharma was the former VP at Facebook during their $14M settlement with DOJ for discriminating against American workers. Now as CEO of Microsoft XBox gaming, she has announced the termination of around 3,200 employees while Microsoft, company-wide, filed 2,879 Labor Condition Application for H-1B positions in fiscal year 2026.
There is a pattern at work within the high-tech industry where corporations factor in the price of lawsuits as a cost of doing business, a cost-effective way to continue discriminating against American workers. Obviously, they deny this practice, yet the transparent visibility of the practice continuing tell a more honest story.
Into this mix, Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh announces an advisory network of business and economic leaders to help guide FED policy on a variety of subjects. I’m sure all of these are lovely people, with the best intentions for their own personal interests. However, where in the dynamic of FED policy advisors is the person who speaks directly to the needs of American workers who are being forced by policy to compete against the entire world for a tech sector job.

Personally I believe Monetary Policy should target 0% inflation, a nice flat level playing field, it’s the obvious sensible target. This idea of an Entitled Caste with access to some sort of inflation gravy at the top (while everyone else gets left behind) really must go. I’ve always believed that part of the problem is that not enough of the public is aware that our “FED” is a private bank which profits from interest rates as a result of its own monetary policy. If there was more publicity given to that fact maybe the pressure to be rid of this built-in bias would help eliminate it and change it to an actual Federally (taxpayer owned) bank. Especially now, as awareness of other aspects of our government and undue foreign influence that exists over our elected/installed officials is more public, finding out that this is not a publicly owned bank could make the case even stronger. I suspect that President Trump would probably agree.

I just returned from a visit to Webster University, a very expensive private university in St. Louis, after not having been there in over three years.
Oh my gosh, it was like stepping into Iran! Big groups of Muslims walking on the campus sidewalks, big gatherings in the building I visited, and manning the offices I checked.
The only American looking people I saw were the man in the public safety office and a maintenance man. This is a complete flip from last time I was there; I did not encounter any difficulties but I also did not feel safe.
I’m hoping this is just a momentary event or something in the summer, we’ll see. If not it appears that Biden’s demographic switch is frighteningly complete.

Consider that DOL OIG D’Esposito has only 70 criminal investigators (Special Agents) in the United States with 6 total in California, Oregon and Washington State where most of the H1B Fraud is concentrated.
On top of that every HIB visa application was reviewed and approved by the USDOL.
Hopefully, he is serious about this investigation but I would take it with a grain of salt.

My son, who graduated a tech school 3 years ago, with certifications in Security, AI, Networking, DATA, and a bunch of others, got caught in the BS covid shutdown after I sold my house & MOVED to Vegas for a potential job with Caesars Gaming for him (i work from home), got screwed there, 2 yrs Vegas was still shut down and/or having the slow open, we said screw that & moved again to FL. 4 yrs later, 250 applications in all over (every thing is online as you all know), now he cant get his resume past the AI screening software. Its impossible to get a job in the tech industry in America. I raised him for a world that no longer exists, so i PRAY heads roll over this. But they wont. I cant afford for him to switch into something else. I thought Trump would fix this long ago, but hes too busy with the middle east this term and the party’s just about over!
Like my dad used to say, “Cheer up, things could be worse…so I cheered up, and sure enough, things got worse!”

I thought an agreement had been reached to charge corporations a million dollars a head to hire H1Bs. That satisfied Musk’s demand that he and other tech employers HAD to be able to hire the best talent, while still prioritizing U.S. job candidates, who would end up getting most positions. Hiring foreigner techs on HB-1 visas give the employer the power of being able to boot them from the country if they spill the beans on these corporations endeavors’ either, to appear in a court, to whistle blow or raise internal HR objections to a product/service that essentially is designed to monitorize people.
