The Washington Post came out with a hit piece on Tulsi Gabbard. It is being picked up everywhere. I wonder if this is why she resigned? To avoid an unnecessary
brouhaha during a time of declassifications revealing corruption and fraud to murk things up?

I disagree.
When you look closely at the details, you see it’s very different from the headlines.
And on the oil sales: sanctions are still in place; they’ve just slapped a 60-day waiver on them. This lets the regime sell crude oil and petrochemical products, but only in dollars. It’s a very very important detail here, it means US have full visibility over the transaction, and can actually control it if needed.
These transactions don’t happen instantly, they take 40-50 days to process. And throughout that whole period, if the regime steps out of line, Trump can block the payments with a single move.

On Monday, June 22, 2026, Sir Slimy announced his resignation –
he is still there.
“Ah, yes, well, you know, after the elections and then I PROMISE you, I shall leave.”
Essentially, he is not actually resigning but used this ploy to give the impression that he really is in order to placate people upset about various things.
In other words, in the very heart of what some of us consider the cradle of civilization, of rational thinking and speaking and putting things across. Our most beloved example, Shakespeare and all of the great speeches in his plays, for example – thinking of St. Crispin’s Day and what THAT speech has meant to England.
The Prime Minister would just like to put everyone on pause who is angry beyond bearing about what happened to Henry Nowak, the near be-heading in Belfast and the horrific abuse of English girls by the Pakistani grooming gangs which apparently Sir Slimy wants everyone to ignore.
Hence, he said on Monday he is resigning . . . but not quite yet.
Thus, I say, and I think the British people might say “How Can We Miss You If You Won’t Go Away?”
If the British people can’t hardly wait for Starmer to leave then they won’t be disappointed in his replacement either.
Ever more rarely turning on the tv to check the news! We did go to look for Sir Slimy’s resignation speech and thought it would be a big deal all morning but all it was just Sir Slimy standing in front of 10 Downing Street and then across the street apparently because it said 11 on the door, there was a crowd of people standing there watching him give the speech. I must look up 11 Downing Street and see who works there.
So my beef on Monday was that apparently Sir Slimy was giving a resignation speech but that is basically a lie, isn’t it? A twisting of the language.
There you have a Prime Minister representing the people of Great Britain and he can’t give a proper speech.
I think I just need to turn off the tv “news” altogether and not listen to trite fools like Starmer.
Again, back to Shakespeare . . . just now went to look again at “Henry V” and that magnificent speech which gave us the phrase “band of brothers” . . . also, “Richard II” where this speech appears:
