This pick puzzled me from the beginning. Regardless of what we think of crypto, the Trump family got into crypto because they were de-banked. A large part of Trump supporters are therefore from the crypto community.
Clayton’s last act at the SEC on his way out the door? Declare war on crypto and file lawsuits. Puzzling.
My hypothesis is that PDJT nominated Clayton in order to expose the RINOs. They couldn’t move fast enough to get Clayton in and get Pulte out. They took the bait and, once again, exposed their Hate Trump-MAGA agenda.
It must make them cringe and sneer internally when the Bad Orange Man is in the room with them.
Some people are saying that the nomination of Clayton was to expose the democrats solely as if we don’t already know what scumbags they are.
But my hypothesis is that the RINOs work hand-in-hand with the democrats and PDJT is exposing that relationship.
Yes. That may very well be exactly why Clayton was nominated. So many of the Senate RINOs were probably pushing him as a “suitable” replacement for Tulsi that PT picked up on it and nominated him to see what would happen. The proof of this will be later on, after the issue of the SAVE Act and 702 is dealt with, and then PT makes the nomination active again, but instead of Clayton he puts someone else forward.
