President Trump must be increasingly frustrated by the mindset of the opposition in Washington DC who demand the old, broken and ill maintained buildings and venues must be left in a state of decay. The opposition to making America great again is strongest in our nation’s decaying capital. Alas, that sentiment is representative of the ideological mindset of those who prefer filth and depression.
Speaking from his Truth Social account, President Trump responds to a judicial order [Read pdf Here] demanding the Kennedy Center be left to fall apart, until congress takes action to restore it.
PRESIDENT TRUMP – “Shockingly, a Judge appointed by Barack Hussein Obama, Christopher Cooper, ruled that The Kennedy Center, which was going to close in early July for largescale renovations and construction due to years of neglect, decay, and poor maintenance, and which was to be transformed by the Trump Administration into the Finest Facility of its kind, anywhere in the World, is not allowed to close for these renovations, which would not be possible to properly do without such a closure. Additionally, Judge Cooper ruled that the 36 Member Board of Trustees, which unanimously voted to add the name “TRUMP” onto the former Kennedy Center, making it The Trump Kennedy Center, did not have the right to do such an addition, and the name, “TRUMP,” must be removed.”
“The Kennedy Center has lost, over the years, prior to our getting involved a short while ago, Hundreds of Millions of Dollars — In some cases, including ridiculous construction jobs that were done, over 100 Million Dollars a year. I took great pride in taking over a losing Institution, and looked forward to making it into a Great and Prestigious WINNER for Washington, D.C., and indeed, the United States of America. Unfortunately, Judge Cooper and the Radical Left would rather see it DIE than have President Trump transform it into something that everyone could be proud of, much as I have done, in many cases, throughout my life, and recently, with all of the construction, renovations, and “fix ups” that we have completed with the Department of Interior on Waterfalls, Fountains, Monuments, and other things of Beauty that we have brought back to life in a now SAFE AND SECURE, after Record Setting Crime, Washington, D.C., which is thriving like, perhaps, never before!
Therefore, based on the fact that the Radical Left Democrats care more about opposing your favorite President, ME, than saving a dying Performing Arts Center, almost all of which lose large amounts of money throughout the Country, we are going to be working with Congress to transfer this failing Institution back to them so they can make a determination as to what to do with it. Judge Cooper was given a presentation by leading Building and Construction Experts as to how structurally dangerous the Building is, with rotting beams, parking areas that are subject to collapse, and various other Life and Safety problems, in addition to the fact that it also needs a MAJOR renovation, from an aesthetic standpoint, but he was not “swayed,” and said he wants the Building to, incredibly, remain open and, therefore, dangerous.
Judge Cooper should be ashamed of himself! I cannot be involved with a situation where danger to the Public is allowed to flourish in plain and open sight. Unless I am free to do what I do better than anyone else, bring this Institution back, physically, financially, and artistically, I have no interest in continuing what could only be a hopeless journey into “NEVER NEVER LAND.” There has never been a President of the United States who has been treated so unfairly by the Courts as I but, that’s OK, I will continue to do, what is considered to be, a great job for the wonderful people of our Country. I have instructed the Department of Commerce to make all necessary arrangements with Congress to allow a full and complete transfer of this Institution, giving them the responsibility for its Operation, Maintenance, and Management. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” ~ President DONALD J. TRUMP
BREAKING: we just won our Kennedy Center case!
Both the renaming & the closure of the Kennedy Center are enjoined

The image above is not just a meme; it’s the reality of the environment.
The physical and spiritual rot permeates Washington DC with a toxicity you can sense in your bones when you get close to it. It’s like a disturbing low-frequency vibration that is unsettling for those who carry goodness as a compass heading.
The evil manifests of corruption, deception and dishonesty create an environmental energy just like all other outputs in life. When I first traveled back to Washington DC in 2020 it had been many years since my previous visit. The difference was an immediate feeling of darkness. To me that image above is exactly how my senses would describe it.
Donald Trump was the only presidential candidate in history who had never spent a night in Washington DC prior to his inauguration. Think about it.
“The District of Columbia currently has the highest unemployment rate in the nation, at 6.7 percent, in large part because of major reductions in the federal work force, including U.S.A.I.D., and cuts to government grants and contracts.” {CITATION}

The Democrats are Communists and a Crime Family. The Fraud that is rampant throughout government is Democrat/RINO run.
The Democrat Party needs to be banned. The Money that has been stolen needs to be given back. The Democrats need to make restitution or leave the country. It is a sewer.
President Trump Close most of the Departments. Make it smaller with much less money. The corrupt ones will leave town to try and steal somewhere else.
For me, I think both Eisen and Cooper have a very…punchable….faces. I am sick to death of all this lawfare shyt. ‘Like Sundance’ s conclusion, I think the gates of hell are somewhere in DC
They didn’t say anything about the billions to fix the fed bldg.
Pure spite fueled by fear. Their time coming it is.
Glad to see Trump punt on this one. Fine, take it back!
I would prefer he would do the same with the Strait of Hormuz and let the countries that use the Strait solve their own problem.
A number of the US allies use that Strait.
Great, then a number of US allies can deal with Iran. They didn’t want to help us deal with it, screw them.
Be isolationist then.
are you…globalist ???
I live globally.
Then get the F out of America! We don’t need your type.
And stick your carbon taxes up your hiney hole.
We are all stuck with the oil speculators and market prices. If we leave it up to the useless allies, they’ll end up paying Iran for the Hormuz privilege and the $200 barrel oil. The pricing hits us as well.
I feel President Trump’s frustration. I agree that it is time to dump the garbage on the steps of Congress and let them deal with it. Enough is enough.
If there is no legal way that this can be appealed then Trump is doing the right thing by simply passing the problem onto Congress. We know they won’t actually fix it, but they will use the mask of fixing it to pad their pockets through the various contractors. Even if they don’t fix it and it falls down, no one person in Congress will be held responsible.
“We know they won’t actually fix it, but they will use the mask of fixing it to pad their pockets through the various contractors.”
Careful there son, you’ve just exposed one of the tools used by the D.C. grifters.
300% over budget? Really? Gosh, I wonder how that could have happened? Maybe, ummmm…….maybe we should form a committee to “investigate”…………
Let it rot then. Maybe the whole thing will collapse on a bunch of leftists watching Cher or Bette Midler and then this judge can take the blame.
Nah they’ll still blame trump for not fixing it
Yes. Exactly what they will do.
Honestly, DC doesn’t need a performing arts center. Why should the rest of us give a crap if leftist filth has a place to see plays, orchestras etc.
There’s still the Warner and National theaters anyway.
Regardless of the location performing arts venues demand and receive subsidies from local and federal governments – and never ending campaigns for large memorial donations. Ticket prices (that patrons will pay) never ever cover running expenses and provide any return for the owners -who are always a local governmental authority. People will pay to see sports (up til now) but not “arts.” Performing “arts” have a lower success % than exploration and production for oil and gas. And yet the performers want more and better of everything (thank you unions) and viewers expect magic at the cost of a back yard BBQ. But no one ever wants to maintain the buildings.
Norm Eisen is such a putrid monster. Marc Elias, Andrew Weismann–absolute demons.
There is a common denominator with all these demons. I guess we’re not supposed to notice it. At least not mention it
So be it.
“Beauty is vanishing from our world because we live as though it did not matter.”
~Professor Sir Roger Scruton
God gives us the freedom to pursue the Good, the True, and the Beautiful. His enemies seek to destroy these.
They began with Beauty when music became atonal, art spatters on canvas, and architecture without the work of human eye and hands.
They have moved on to the Good with moral relativism, as your opinion does not matter if it conflicts with mine.
And now the True, where there is no biology, no thing that can be called true if it conflicts with the herd’s momentary dictate, where the cost of non-compliance is enforced by the very possible cost of your livelihood.
A theory that the ugliness of the buildings and monuments of the old USSR contributed to its fall is a theory that I for one, subscribe to….
However the US government sponsored and subsidized “arts” have long been anything but beautiful.
AND on JFK’s birthday!
Love the timing!
Happy birthday, JFK!
A lesser man does not get to put his name above a greater one.
You’re referring to the guy that accelerated the Viet Nam war and lost Cuba. That guy?
And the snark continues. Be gone, Troll!
Yeah, cos expanding the number of US advisors and removing the restrictions on a corrupt government, as a means of dealing with a geo-political threat, versus a blockade, after a targetted bombing campaign and no boots on the ground, makes you a better man obviously.
I guess you Dems really do love people who steal elections, must be a side-effect of the lies you have to spout daily.
And the timing was deliberate, which should tell you everything about this case.
p.s. You don’t think perhaps this was the end state Trump was actually aiming for, and the renaming was simply a way of guaranteeing a LawFare response? Always attacking, and on predictable lines does have its drawbacks you know.
JFK accomplished…?
What happens if anyone, in the interim, is injured because of the state of the building, do they get to sue the people who stopped the renovation, or will the MSM claim it was a deliberate attempt at sabotage?
Seems the Left are over-celebrating tactical victories stopping The Presidents peripheral agenda, as a compensation for not having a plan of their own. Meanwhile 1 trillion in federal grants became far harder to fraudulently obtain, claim or divert and mail in ballots will come under far greater scrutiny. This is the difference between executing strategically driven operations and relying on headline generating tactical victories.
I hope they just shut it and cancel performances. Declare bankruptcy or some other legal status. Do the equivalent of handing the keys back to the bank on an under water condo.
My kid won’t go to DC anymore, and said kid lives near it, says it isn’t safe, is filthy, and covered with demonic energy
That sense is exactly why I passed up an opportunity to work as an IT contractor in the immediate area years ago. Simply could not stand to live anywhere near the place.
Like I said in other thread
Eisen deserves a cold nap
What a huge accomplishment this was.
Just raze the building cover it in cement. Throw in some black robed activists with the rebarb.. Do the same with Powell folly.
He should do no repairs and invest no money in DC. Let is collapse. Also, let crime run rampant.
DC residents want the crime and the decay they vote 99% leftist – Democrat or Green party. The only decent people you encounter that live in DC are the illegal Hispanic immigrants.
Let it collapse along with every other Democrat hell hole in America.
By all rights D.C. was never meant to have a large permanent population either.
Certainly would moot any efforts to make it a State if there were no permanent residents.
Dems love ghetos
Next meeting of the Board of Trustees could be interesting.
Hakeem Jeffries… “We will Break the MAGA People.”
He’s not bothering me. Shuttering the Kennedy Center is a fantastic move.
I recall flying into DC at night for a conference the next day and there were lights as far as I could see, even from a mile or so up in the air. All I could think about was the tax dollars in flames, keeping those millions of lights lit, as they don’t produce anything that anyone buys.
If DC disappeared tomorrow, the country would be better off.
MAGA has never been welcome in the Kennedy Center. We need the Fire Marshal to declare it unsafe and close it until it’s properly renovated. In the meantime, close it by not booking anyone. Let it grow over in weeds
I’m shocked, shocked that a Political Party that for 10 years has called for the literal physical assassination of Donald J. Trump will do everything in their power to figuratively assassinate him, his family, and his fortune.
Let it rot because that’s what will happen when Congress gets control.
Also, Congress is probably licking their chops at all the money they can line their pockets with once they take control and can continuously pump more and more money into it while nothing gets done and it continues to lose money.
Finally, Eisen is just plain evil. He might think he’s really clever and will not see justice on this side of the grass but I’m pretty sure he won’t like where he spends eternity.
I’m confident that Congress will ensure that the Kennedy Center will be operated as effectively as the USPS.
Just let it go. The ivy will grow through the concrete and the cats will take over the place.
I lived in the DC area for almost 60 years and attended events at the Kennedy Center maybe 3 times in my life. Nothing very special about it.
Democrats of today enjoy watching things become dilapidated. They love ugly.
I don’t think JFK would want the cultural arts center that has been created in his honor become a neglected dilapidating building. I think JFK, if he were alive today would appreciate that President Trump tried to bring structural integrity and a renovated interior to the arts center.
The perfect example is the DC USPS Headquarters building. It was in horrible shape. Trump bought it and restored it into a grand hotel. He ended up having to sell it.
It looked tired decades ago. Always looked like something the Parks Services designed, never looked worthy of the Nations Capitol IMO.
Screw Eisner and this judge. Let the building decay. Trump Organization should build its own performing arts center in DC. No government funding
Sundance is right about the evil permeating in DC. I could feel it when I landed at Dulles National airport in 2023 for my Aunts funeral. It also surrounds Frederick MD and into Harper’s Ferry, WV. I was so happy to leave. The area needs to be purged and salted. Just like our congress critters.
Wait until the parking lot actually collapses on a show night. And people are killed. And, they blame Trump and his “corruption.”
To use the word “corruption” in reference to PDJT is truly the ultimate(!) example of Projection.
What causes the most grief amongst these D.C. insiders:
A) Trump is accomplishing things, which makes them look bad.
B) Trump has the audacity to attach his name onto an accomplishment.
C) All of the above.
So Eisen is gloating over letting one of our institutions decay and remain a danger to the public.
“They will call evil good…”
They keep going lower doing Satan’s work.
Jesus please come!
I have never quite understood why we have a Kennedy Center. That is, it’s fine for it to be there, but taxpayers shouldn’t be involved. I have evolved past the “we need to look sophisticated” phase and landed on the “not on the public dime” phase.
Remove the Trump name. Then, let it rot and collapse as another symbol of liberal, commie values. PDJT can build a center for performing arts in a city that wants it. Private money can pay for it.
Okay, let it rot. Then when someone or more get injuries from the decay and failing structure, let them sue eisen and company.
Launch the communist judge into a permenent orbit so he can see the world in a new way.
How sad. What in the world are wrong with these judges, lawfare A..h….and sick cretins? It’s beyond pathetic, its down right disgusting!! One Man, Our President, trying to bring beauty and sanity back, only to be hampered by total degenerates…uggggh
Add the names of Biden and Obama and let it rot. Maybe add the judge’s name to the parking structure. Then the whole board could resign.
“The physical and spiritual rot permeates Washington DC with a toxicity you can sense in your bones when you get close to it. It’s like a disturbing low-frequency vibration that is unsettling for those who carry goodness as a compass heading.”
I went there in 1994 for a day-trip just to see the Smithsonian and a few other sights. I got off the bus and into the most sinking, despairing vibe I had ever felt. And I’ll add I was hardly an angel in those days. I soon knew I was in deep witchcraft territory.
They have every foot of the city under their influence. We survive here only by a limited allotment of God’s grace on this earth’s calendar. Reprobate Eisen and his kind will soon be cast into the pit.
