And no wonder there is a traffic problem. There is more to driving than just putting your car in gear.
BTW, did you notice this problem has a left handedness? Once any one column has cleared, it opens the way for the column immediately to its left to begin to clear. Clockwise. For example, while not the singular solution, if the column of #5 and #5 both were driven backwards, #6 and #7 would be free to move forward to clear, then #3 would be free to move forward to clear, then #2 and #1 would be free to move forward to clear, finally, #5 and #5 could move forward.
I picked that column because I sure hope the counting mistake wasn’t some stupid attempt to add a trick solution.
Also, instead of clearing entire columns, the front cars could clear and then the back cars could clear. This then would be like a 4way stop. except you yield to the right. And 4 cars simultaneously stopping at a 4way has no proper solution.
TN studiously avoids the term ‘right of way’. Except for emergency vehicles with lights on. So even if you know the other traffic has a yield sign, it doesn’t mean that you have the ‘right of way’.
It doesn’t ask for a two car solution only a one car solution.

There is something like twice as much land in the Northern hemisphere as in the Southern. And land has much higher highs and much lower lows than water. So the average in the Southern is always more moderate than the average in the Northern. And the world’s average is high when the North is hot and low when the North is cold.
Frankly, is there any meaning with averaging the temperature atop Mt. Everest with the temperature at the shore of the Dead Sea? Or the temperature in Topeka with that of San Diego?
The concept of the world’s temperature is so ill defined that it is meaningless. Even averaging deviations in spot temperatures across different spots is meaningless. And we don’t have a set of temperature measurements that have been designed to make any world average.
Like I said. A chaotic system always seeking a balance it can never obtain.

Erie freezes over while Ontario has relatively little ice cover. Why? Because Ontario is a much deeper lake. Erie is the shallowest of the Great Lakes.
Lake Erie has only reached 100% ice cover three times. 1978, 79, and 1996. It is almost certainly going to do it again this year.
I should mention that while there may not be lake effect snows there is a down side. Ice cover causes far less surface friction to the wind and thus surface wind speeds will be somewhat elevated relative to if the lake were not iced over.

(1733-1804)
English chemist, theologian and author who discovered oxygen and carbonated water, dies at 70
Biography: Born into a dissenting family who didn’t confirm to the Church of England, Joseph Priestley remained a influential religious free thinker throughout his whole life and his religious unorthodoxy would play a large part in shaping his scientific inquiries.
Priestley initially became a minister and a teacher, publishing an important book on English Grammar in 1761. He then became interested in electricity and after encouragement from the visiting Benjamin Franklin began experiments on what he considered unanswered questions in the field. Priestley went on to discover 10 new gases including oxygen in 1774 which he called “dephlogisticated air” (now also considered independently co-discovered by Carl Wilhelm Scheele). He was awarded the prestigious Copley Medal as a result in 1773.
While travelling in Paris he met the French chemist Antoine Lavoisier and told him of his discoveries. Lavoisier went on realize the oxygen’s central importance and gave it its name. Priestley disagreed with Lavoisier’s findings and continued to defend his alternative Phlogiston theory.
In 1780 in Birmingham he became part of the Lunar Society, that included potter Josiah Wedgwood. Priestley designed a device to produce carbonated water for the first time in an effort to aid against disease.
Priestley’s support of Unitarianism and support of the French Revolution led to heated opposition toward him in England and in 1791 a mob destroyed his house and he and his family fled to London. He later emigrated to America and settled in Pennsylvania where he lived until his death.
You are exploring the unknown and you adopt weird concepts to describe that unknown. Some unknown substance that is associated with fire. The Phlogiston. Everything you do is colored by this concept. Air is invisible, hard to measure. Your very careful experiments have helped the world identify components of air. But your commitment to this weird concept prevents you from seeing that. You even feud your entire life over that subject.
While he found a way to produce oxygen, if he refused to accept that he did, did he really discover it?
Such is the reality of Science. Bumbling, set back by bad ideas, groping for better explanations, horrible fighting between old and new. We like to think that we are always pointed to progress forward to better understanding of the world. But are we?
We surely have an understanding that helps us do so much more than we could before. But Priestly was able to do so much with his bad understanding. How many Phlogistons still litter our understandings?

in Indiana, emailed families and staff stating that he recognizes the “importance” of the student’s anti-ICE walkout and that staff will be SUPERVISING the protest.
Supervising so long as they stay on campus. But still marking them absent.
I find the ‘safety’ concern bogus. But, if they stay on campus they will be kept safe. Real safety comes in learning not to break the law during ‘protests’, and not to associate with those who do break the law.
Supporting the false ideas inflaming the protests isn’t covered, neither is correcting them, but I have no doubt that those falsehoods are taught in that school.
I’ve texted my nephews that have their kids in that school system to make them aware.

COMMENTARY FOR JOB 19
Job complains of unkind usage. (1-7) God was the Author of his afflictions. (8-22) Job’s belief in the resurrection. (23-29)
23-29 The Spirit of God, at this time, seems to have powerfully wrought on the mind of Job. Here he witnessed a good confession; declared the soundness of his faith, and the assurance of his hope. Here is much of Christ and heaven; and he that said such things are these, declared plainly that he sought the better country, that is, the heavenly. Job was taught of God to believe in a living Redeemer; to look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come; he comforted himself with the expectation of these. Job was assured, that this Redeemer of sinners from the yoke of Satan and the condemnation of sin, was his Redeemer, and expected salvation through him; and that he was a living Redeemer, though not yet come in the flesh; and that at the last day he would appear as the Judge of the world, to raise the dead, and complete the redemption of his people. PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

If this has been posted before, point me to it so I can see Treeper comments. This is a recent “Open Letter to Erika”.
Candace is either crazy or hot on the tail of something big. As she says, she is laying it all out there and if she is wrong she will certainly have egg on her face. I have been standing back waiting for the data to come in on Charlie Kirks assassination, the cause, and the further of TPUSA.
Candace seems to imply that she and Charlie had special gifts that included exceptional intellect, and perhaps prophesy or direct dreams.
Wonder what others think about these areas, the future of TPUSA, the implications of Israel, and the other players she names. Would like to know more, but don’t have time to chase rabbit trails.
I’m most concerned about the continuation of the movement toward God and Truth that Charlie was harnessing with TPUSA, his example, and the faith of the youth who were awakened and encouraged by his life. 2nd, I am concerned about the forces that may have been involved in his assassination.
So far, I haven’t been impressed with Erika’s ability to lead TPUSA or inspire people. She warrants a great deal of grace, given what has happened, but if what Candace is implying is even remotely true, then there is a stunning degree of evil and betrayal at many levels.

First, thank you Sundance for providing this sanctuary of sanity where those of us who have learned to identify “The Great Pretending” he has so cogently detailed. I has been a blessing and in some ways a curse.
Why?
Right now we are enduring an avalanche of pretending as if there is nothing more important than finding Savannah Guthrie’s mom. Anyone who is NOT a person who must “grin-and-bear” an endless flow of air-sewage that is the Faux Newz’ mind-numbing, senseless cotton-candy “krap glacier” every…single..DAY would have no idea there may be some REAL action to shut off, or, at least reduce the election-interference in Georgia among many other events.
Nearly daily, Sundance drops meaningful developments and well-sourced, well-documented analysis. Yet when one raises attention to these issues and facts, one receives skepticism. Or, a reaction not unlike plugging ones ears and making “la-la-la” noises to block out that which hurts to much to hear and comprehend.
Why?
“I haven’t heard or seen that story on the news.” (Faux Newz, of course)
Then, they proceed to scan the inter-webs and find nothing but the usual bilge which “debunks” the story or spins it into a rats-nest of stupid.
Now, understand these are people who do not like the media. They don’t trust them but they do trust “Faux Newz” because they always have.
Is it possible they just cannot allow themselves to believe yet another once-trusted source is full of krap?

I agree with you guys rant 💯. Happens in my own household with my husband. I tell him about, even read some of the postings on Treehouse and he looks at me like I’ve been dropped on my head.
Yes. They don’t “fact-check” anything else but what challenges the pea-stream from broadcast media. No amount of TRUE, first-hand expertise from actual “boots-on-the-ground” reporting and recording proof of that reporting.
Rumble, Gab, Locals, and yes, even YouTube need to launch their own dedicated streaming channels. Feature full disclosure and open-sourced background of the curators, producers, and funders – no more hiding.
Come to think of it, why don’t I do it? I have an extensive background in distributed architecture.
