Tucker Carlson’s Occult Divination
Carlson says the US ambassador to Israel is ‘under a spell.’ How would he know?

Why, then, does such a prominent “journalist” as Tucker Carlson eschew historically driven, logical political analysis and resort to claiming powers as a soothsayer of the supernatural to explain the ambassador’s positions? First, Carlson identifies as Christian but, being a diviner of spells, grants himself power beyond biblical guidance. Leviticus 19:26, for instance, states, “Do not practice divination or seek omens.” Deuteronomy 18:9-14 offers a comprehensive list of forbidden practices, including child sacrifice, divination, and necromancy. Secondly, as a seer of spells, Carlson does not have the bother of rational argument. He is spared the trouble of thoughtfully considering opposing viewpoints or diverse opinions.
Does it matter that Tucker Carlson claims occult knowledge and attributes Mr. Huckabee’s support for Israel to a spell? Carlson’s antisemitism makes it matter. If Ambassador Huckabee were to sue Carlson for defamation, the legal premise of the trial would recreate a small-scale version of the Salem witch trials. Carlson’s lawyers would have to present and defend Carlson’s spectral evidence. The more things change…
