Hoo-rah!
🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
Thank you, Betsy….brought tears of thanks to God Almighty for these wonderful young men who have chosen to serve their country by becoming a Marine!!!
It does the same for me as well, COL…you’re so welcome.
I see sons, brothers, husbands each time I listen, as well as men whose honour is deep in service to America.
Dearest Lord, bless each and every one, keep them safe from harm, and return them to the families who love them🙏🏻
Excellent! Happy Birthday Marines!
GI beans and GI gravy – Gee I wished I joined the Navy…
Heh…
Happy Birthday Leathernecks!!
Eyes Right…
Ooh-rah, fellow Leathernecks. Proud to have served. And a hearty thank you to our families…they’ve sacrificed much so we could serve.
Gee, when I was in it was the 10th
Yes. My husband (retired) will be attending tomorrow night where we live.
B’day still is 10 Nov…balls are held on or around that day. But, you knew that, right?
I didn’t know it.
It was always on the 10th when I was in, …………… 50 something years ago.
Yup, my last one was in 64 in Kaneohe
Semper Fi, Do or Die!
Remember our fallen. For all my Marine brothers who gave so many of their yesterdays, Happy 250th Birthday. You all live forever in the rich history of our Corps!

Thank God for our amazing Marines! Our military, the cream of our nation. Happy 250th!!!
Y’all wear it well.
Semper Fi Marines!
Semper Fi all my fellow Marines, Happy 250th Birthday!
Well done, JD!
And “even better done”, to all US Marines!
Sundance – are you warming up to JD Vance? This is an honest question… your comments seem very positive about his presentation today, but in the past you have appeared very reserved about him and his entire backstory.
Wondering the same thing
My first thought exactly.
Sundance always gives credit where credit is due.
Multiple things can be true at the same time.
It is right and proper to give honor to the United States Marines. The words that VP Vance mouthed did indeed honor the Marines.
It is also right and proper to recognize that VP Vance reeks of insincerity and that he is the very definition of an oily politician. He cannot be trusted. If he is elected president in 2028 he will do great damage to our Constitutional Republic.
Thank you, VP Vance, for the words you mouthed in honor of the USMC. Many of us will continue to keep a wary eye on you.
Great speech.
I grew up near Camp LeJeune and Cherry Point Marine Corp Air Station on the coast of NC. My Dad retired as a civilian employee from Cherry Point. I love the Marines. I could tell you some stories, but I’ll just stop right here.
Happy Birthday, my Brother & Sister Marines!!
Served with, and was commanded by some of the bravest and most honorable MEN I’ve ever known! (hit the yellow foot prints 5/28/68, one tour RVN, field radio operator 2531)
OORAH! Semper Fi!!!
Thank you for your service, Marine.
Happy 250th fellow Jarheads!

And remember: From the Halls of Montezuma to the Shores of Tripoli, we shall drop kick the enemy by air, and land, and sea.
Our US Marines….
They remain the most perfect example of Man’s imperfections under God’s Creation!

THE MARINE’S PRAYER
“Almighty Father, whose command is over all and whose love never fails, make me
aware of Thy presence and obedient to Thy
will.
Keep me true to my best self, guarding
me against dishonesty in purpose and deed
and helping me to live so that I can face my
fellow Marines, my loved ones and Thee
without shame or fear.
Protect my family.
Give me the will to do the work of a Marine
and to accept my share of responsibilities
with vigor and enthusiasm.
Grant me the
courage to be proficient in my daily performance. Keep me loyal and faithful to my
superiors and to the duties my country and
the Marine Corps have entrusted to me.
Make me considerate of those committed to my leadership. Help me to wear my uniform
with dignity, and let it remind me daily of the
traditions which I must uphold.
If I am inclined to doubt, steady my faith; if I am tempted, make me strong to resist; if I should miss the mark, give me courage to try again.
Guide me with the light of truth and grant
me wisdom by which I may understand the answer to my prayer.”
Amen
