But the Israel that has the covenant with God (actually several covenants) is composed of descendants of the twelve original tribes.

Sigh… I have several different bibles, they all read the same. I’m a little late to this discussion. I do think though that it would pay to put in my two cents.
Thanks to the world press corps lately repeatedly hammering the genocide card. And of course the sudden redefining of genocide and so on.
To deconstruct and think for yourselves. We need to first slice this Israel issue in multiple pieces.
1. The global subject Israel vs Palestine. In my eyes if you look into the facts, it’s literally a no brainer. I’m personally biased to Israel, but you don’t really have to be biased to see the situation.
2. American financial support for Israel. This aspect is way more controversial, and this should have much debate. In my personal opinion it’s inappropriate and damaging for both sides. This is not just my personal opinion, many on the right side from within Israel believe so too, a historically very popular right figure there that explained this (and the greater issue) well was Meir Kahane. And it’s worth looking him up. (As with everything when it comes to these type of people, reading about him will get you a distorted profile, and it’s irrelevant too what anyone has to say about him. What is mostly relevant is what he actually says… So listen to his voice directly and decide after.) Similar to Charlie Kirk and other threats of like kind he was taken out by a bullet…. And from what I heard the killer was let go free….
3. Israeli dirty tactics. Which is generally overrated, however I’m pretty sure that Israel doesn’t always act properly. There definitely are a lot of legitimate concerns on how Oct 7 came to be and many more of these concerns. While these concerns have to be addressed, in my personal opinion Israel while being more sophisticated than most countries on that front still doesn’t do anything most countries wont do from an ethical and moral view.
