Vaccinations are the very start, you are correct.
Pregnant women doing ‘drugs’ certainly may be the cause of autism; I doubt very seriously acetaminophen falls into the category to damage embryonic cells or developing brain cells like recreational drugs do.
The attention to autism has to shine the spotlight on ‘something’ other than the real culprit! Vaccines, massive vaccines, to children from birth through adulthood. AND the spotlight on a ‘cure’ for the damages they caused……….Leucovorin, sound familiar??

They had parents stop giving aspirin for fever in childhood; based on a falsehood about ‘Reye Syndrome’. They avowed Aspirin was the cause; when it only happened with the introduction of the Varicella Vaccine which caused the fever.
Reye syndrome was caused by – still caused by – the Varicella vaccine when given in conjunction with the MMR vaccine.

I’ve only ever met 2 kids that were non-verbal autistic. Both sets of parents were adamant the child was developing normal until within a week after a vaccine– they changed.
They use paracetamol, basically the same thing.

Everyone I know that has an autistic child swears their sons were normal before their vax’s.

A relative of mine was fine until, at about 18 months, he suddenly became what I’ll call antisocial. Stopped talking and interacting. Wouldn’t look people in the eye. Stopped playing. Thank goodness, it passed by the time he went to school. It was a very odd and sudden change in personality. Whether it was caused by vaccines, I can’t say for sure, but that’s the time frame when toddlers get vaxxed the most.
I’ll be really happy when PDJT says don’t get the covid shot and when the MRNA is illegal. Until then this is a start which I’m thankful for.

The rate of autism increased when they decided to call it a “spectrum” upon which nearly every child is placed. There’s no definitive test for autism. It’s subjective then, isn’t it?
I’m not saying it doesn’t and didn’t exist in the past, but the sheer number of kids now labeled as “on the spectrum” (but not seriously affected) drives up the numbers to the point where one can’t tell what are personality differences or different communication styles and what’s “autism.”
I was painfully shy as a child. I have no doubt whatsoever that I’d be labeled as autistic today. I’ve already had self-appointed psychologists/neurologists (people I know. Not doctors.) diagnose me, unasked, with Asperger’s Syndrome. Right. Me and Einstein and Musk. Yes, see. We’re ALL geniuses. Not!
Another new term is neurodivergent, but what’s the definition of “divergent” when MOST kids are seemingly “neurodivergent?” You can’t diverge from what’s the norm. Can you?
It’s as if people want their children to be labeled and diagnosed as victims of some disorder or another.
Again, I’m not saying there’s not a disorder once called autism. I knew autistic kids 30, 40 years ago. There was absolutely no doubt they had a problem.
Yet it seems today as if every child I meet is labeled “autistic” but I don’t perceive anything obviously wrong with them (except perhaps spoiled by all the attention). Au,tism is the new ADD is the new ADHD. Follow the money. A young relative of mine once told me, in a very sad voice, that her sister “got to” take prescribed psychoactive drugs and she didn’t. Go figure. She was sorry she didn’t also have whatever psychological problem her sister was diagnosed with.
I’m reminded of the sheer number of feel good stories on TV where a person who’s celebrated for a good performance in sports or a heroic deed or excellence in academics unfailingly is also then applauded for being a victim of some disease or disability that they also overcame. Something. Anything. It’s required.
If there truly is a huge increase in a debilitating and life changing syndrome then of course, science MUST find out the cause and address it. What’s really going on?

I work for a large healthcare organization in the Pacific Northwest. I have no patient contact, however one criteria that determined earning our year-end bonus was based upon how many vaccines the providers were able to administer.

We never had Autism until we had the MMR vaccine! Oh wait! That’s wrong, we did have Autism. Ok! Then it must be the Tylenol! Oh oh. we had Autism before Tylenol too. BUT we have a lot more Autism now!!! Yeah but that is because doctors and families are rewarded if Autism is diagnosed.
What appears to be true is that all of the many variation of mental and physical problems we now call Autism have been around since we climbed down from the trees. But now we “group” them together and even make everything worse by reinforcing the diagnoses such that the victim/patient truly believes that they have a health problem that cannot be cured and curses them to a terrible life, so they wallow in it. Where before that same person would have no other choice but to buck up and live their life and work hard to overcome their genetic bad luck. I am 82 YO and I remember Autistic children and they were 100% not functional, requiring constant care, feeding, and protection. I would be willing to bet that less than 1 in 100 diagnosed with Autism today have those classic symptoms. WHY??? Because they DON’T have Autism!! They merely have symptoms and issues you would expect from the tail of the Bell curve and THAT can be used to extract money and free stuff.

Autism likely is overdiagnosed, yes, because it’s a psych diagnosis, because “Aspergers” was added into an autism “spectrum” in the DSMV, and because schools and parents are given federal money and IEP inventives to get their children diagnosed with stuff.
It also now may be diagnosed instead of a variety of other maladies, including what we used to just call “retarded”, because it’s an easier diagnosis for parents to accept.
But that’s still ignoring the astronomical increase that correlates with vaccines, so large that neither the foregoing issues, nor some kind of suddenly arising prenatal injuries or genetic defects can come close to explaining what is going on.

Here is your simple error: Everything since the mid 50’s correlates with vaccinations. Arguably you could blame rock and roll on vaccinations using exactly the same logic used to blame Autism on vaccination. In fact there is more evidence that vaccinations cause fat ugly women to dye their hair pink or blue than there is evidence it causes autism. It may even be the cause of fat ugly women!! I could go on and on with everything and everything since the 50’s but I won’t. AND I would argue that the same point is true of Tylenol.

My wife was warned about the use of Tylenol during pregnancy in 1983 by her obgyn.
I would say that it’s wise for any pregnant woman to be extremely careful about anything she puts into her body. I’m not pregnant and I’m careful about anything I put in my body. Tylenol has serious side effects that are listed right on the bottle. I’m not sure where it’s coming from that there’s no alternative for it out there. If it’s true, it’s a sad state of affairs.

The logic collapses on itself. If vaccines are poison – “so much stuff…pumping into a horse” – spacing out poison doesn’t eliminate poisoning. If vaccines are safe, why space them out? Trump knows they’re dangerous, describes children getting “fried,” yet recommends continued injection on a modified schedule.

With midterm elections 14 months away, the administration needs victories for the Make America Healthy Again movement without alienating suburban voters who still trust vaccines. Tylenol becomes the perfect sacrificial lamb – a generic drug with no unified lobby to fight back.
The pathway forward is clear. Acknowledge Tylenol contributes to autism, establishing environmental causation. Admit certain vaccine ingredients cause problems in susceptible populations. Remove the most obvious toxins while maintaining the vaccine schedule. Introduce “safer” vaccines using novel technologies. Declare victory while changing nothing fundamental.
Autism is vaccine-induced encephalitis. The mechanism is clear: aluminum adjuvants designed to provoke inflammation, delivered repeatedly to developing brains, causing neurological damage in susceptible children. Tylenol makes children more susceptible by depleting glutathione, but it doesn’t cause autism independently.
