The Capitol Police officer who fatally shot Ashli Babbitt during the Jan. 6 riots and then was promoted has a lengthy internal affairs and disciplinary record that includes firearm-related incidents, a sweeping congressional investigation has found.
The issues in Captain Michael Byrd’s background included a failed shotgun qualification test, a failed FBI background check for a weapon’s purchase, a 33-day suspension for a lost weapon and referral to Maryland state prosecutors for firing his gun at a stolen car fleeing his neighborhood, according to congressional and police documents obtained by Just the News.
Byrd’s record was uncovered during a larger House Administration Oversight Subcommittee investigation into the U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) disciplinary process and was chronicled in a letter Rep. Barry Loudermilk, R-Ga., the panel’s chairman, sent Wednesday to the department’s chief, Thomas Manger, in which the lawmaker expressed concerns about the officer’s promotion to captain.
“This Subcommittee is dedicated to ensuring USCP has autonomy from political pressures so it can make operational and personnel decisions,” Loudermilk wrote in the letter. “However, based on the information obtained by the Subcommittee regarding USCP’s handling of Captain Byrd following January 6, 2021, and his significant disciplinary history, I have concerns about USCP’s decision to promote him to the rank of Captain.”

I have been hoping this would happen, not only is she entitled to it, but it will be a real stick in the eye to those who planned her political assassination.
I read quite a lot about Ashli Babbitt in the year following her murder, and I continue to believe that Pelosi’s little friends conspired to push this tiny woman through the window; for her to have broken through the window on her own would have gone against everything she was, said, believed, acted. Everything.
Just a few seconds before this she had been struggling to stop people from damaging the building; it’s on video.
She deserves a full State funeral and interment in Arlington National Cemetery if her family so chooses. She was martyred for her willingness to speak up on behalf of free and fair elections – and the lack thereof.

Most obviously, the suspect, now dead, in Wednesday’s Minneapolis school shooting was not a “her.” He was a him, a 23-year-old male, Robert Westman, who had been pretending to be a female for some years since undergoing puberty, with the encouragement of his parents and the cultural leaders of his city, including Governor Tim Walz and Mayor Jacob Frey, backed by the expressed principles of the national Democratic Party.
The essence of all that was a gigantic game of pretend, a broad and deliberate dissociation from reality for the purpose of maintaining a political racketeering operation, which is what the Democratic Party had become. Pretend that men can become women. Pretend that Covid vaccinations are safe and effective. Pretend that national borders don’t matter. Pretend that crime is not a social problem. Pretend that riots are mostly peaceful. Pretend that our elections are free and fair.
Since the Democratic Party has zero useful ideas for improving the lives of this country’s citizens, all it has is pretend theater, which is public performative psychopathology, otherwise known as acting-out. Mass murders of school-children by so-called trans people are the most garish and horrific actings-out, the most offensive to society, a slaughter of innocents. Such an act grabs everybody’s attention. The New York Times pretends that all this is “a mystery” because to tell the truth would inculpate them in the ongoing criminal racketeering operation of their patron, the Democratic Party.
They all know what the truth is in this matter: that Robert Westman became insane, at least in his time of puberty, possibly earlier, and that his parents resorted to persuading their child that he was born in the wrong body — as the trendy theory goes — to remedy his psychological distress. He was thereafterinfluenced to play-act as a female. Possibly, he was induced to go through some stage of medical “treatment” to supposedly advance his transition to the opposite sex — for instance, a hormone regimen. This has not yet been reported. (Has it even been investigated by police or the news media?)
Of course, “gender-affirming medical care” is a vicious fraud, as is the preposterous idea of “sexual assignment at birth” (as if it is some kind of error-ridden clerical function). Males cannot be changed into females no matter how much their hormones are altered or how much surgery they endure. It is all just costuming and makeup, to an extreme degree, to enhance the game of pretend. It is also bound to be nightmarishly disappointing to the person undergoing such malign rigors.
As in the case of psycho-killer Robert Westman, he discovered his tragic mistake in exactly the period of life — emerging into adulthood — when emotions tend to be most labile. If he also happened to be on psychotropic drugs such as SSRIs (Prozac, Zoloft, Paxil, Celexa, etc.), known to produce suicidal and homicidal thinking, combined with his emotional instability, there you have an obvious recipe for disaster. None of that is mysterious.

I am a firm second amendment believer, but I am more convinced now in the modern era of prescribing psychotropic ssri drugs like candy and other drugs for anxiety, etc. that carry a black box warning of suicidal thoughts and violent tendencies as possible side effects that it should be considered when laws are written for gun purchases and ownership. Who seriously thinks giving a mentally unstable person a gun is a good thing?
It’s such a slippery slope for rights under this Constitutional amendment to formulate any laws restricting legal ownership, but somewhere along the way we have to consider what our society has become and yes, our mental and physical health have been co-opted by big pharma, big AG and big govt. control with intent to subject people, especially children, to awful outcomes that make us more controllable.
We have to address the real problems and then address the laws on other things that follow from that, gun ownership being one of them. “Shall not be infringed” is written in black and white and is our right under our Constitution. I get it. Somewhere there has to be real concern about what we as a society have become though and how that affects our rights to obtain any weapon that can harm others.
It’s not an easy problem to even begin to unravel in a way fair to those who are not committing horrid acts of murder and violence on others. God will need to guide us on where we take this and what we do with it. More govt gun control is not the answer.
The issue isn’t guns, the issue is people. In this case people on drugs that are known to cause severe problems. Ban the drugs, not the ownership of weapons.

They NEVER mention a 70 percent side effect of sexual dysfunction, possibly for life.
They NEVER give a verbal warning about not mixing the meds with high powered weed.
And when you do suffer withdrawal side effects? They diagnose it as schizophrenia and then you are on to polypharmacy.
Oh, and the CNP’s and family physicians who are handing prescriptions out like candy can’t be counted on to check for contraindications when adding new meds.

Europe now limits these meds to six months or less.

I was deeply depressed after the death of my husband of 47 years because I lost a stepson and my two dogs in the same year and there was no one left. I was alone.
Doctors push anti-depressants. I did the research and refused. Looked for other solutions….meditation….acupuncture, etc. It took a couple of years but serious hard working meditation was the answer eventually.
It’s just too easy to take a pill and make it go away so I can see how people get hooked.

Meanwhile, where is the FBI, all other law enforcement and all our elected leaders’ response?
We saw peaceful patriots locked up and innocent Americans murdered for January 6th. We saw law abiding parents labeled terrorists for speaking out at school board meetings in defense of their children. We’ve seen countless deaths and lives ruined from the covid coup. But we have not stooped to the level of depravity being displayed by the left today.

Cleveland Clinic whines about costs…then they need to reduce the high salaries in all the “C” suites, for starters and not gouging their clients. And revisit the contracts for their landscape maintenance, for starters.
While they are top notch, the area is not wealthy. This is Florida, where salaries are lower than in Ohio. They are becoming out of toiuch…gee just like who else now?
University of Washington adds on a $179 “room usage” fee for consultations with specialists. So let’s say you see an oncologist for a second opinion. There’s an expected co-pay for that dubious privilege. What’s not expected is the cost of renting out the room where the consultation is held.

In Minnesota, Tim Walz and the Democrats made it illegal to provide talk therapy to someone struggling with gender identity. Therapists can help convert them to a new gender, but can’t counsel them to stay their actual gender.

Then the article talked about how us evil humans have been raising the CO2 levels to 430 ppm today.
My takeaways:
(1) Yikes! Plants all DIE at 150 ppm; the Earth nearly died 21,000 years ago. Boy, did we dodge a bullet!
(2) Wait a minute. You mean the Earth warmed up FIRST and THEN the CO2 levels went up??!?? Notice how the article never says that, they only say that it got warmer and THEN the CO2 went up.
There goes the causation hypothesis, that CO2 makes it warmer.
