Comrades, I am sure Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin and President Donald Trump had a good snicker over the optics presented. “Subtle”, like a brick through a window. Good stuff.
.
The EU/NATO folks most certainly smiled like the lady in the ‘fireworks’ picture. However, the CIA/5-Eyes watched the remainder of the performance, not amused.

ALL MEMErs ON DECK !!!
This reminds me of two neighbors. They were in some kind of dispute. One came running up to the other’s door waving an old Winchester lever rifle. The other man calmly answered the door and quietly asked; “Do you think you are the only person in town with a gun?” Russia has airplanes too. Very effective ones. A little respect goes a long way in diplomacy.
“Haha….Good one……ya got me DJ……🤣
……Wait till you come to Moscow….!!” 👊🏻🍻
Bless your heart
What does Russia have for a front line bomber. Say something like a B1, B2 or B21?
They’ll fly a few hypersonic missiles overhead in Moscow.
Problem is, no one will be able to see them as they pass over.
Why do the they need a frontline bomber?
Missiles, many many of them.
When thousands of MIRVs start flying around in a full blown war, the B2s will be a novelty.
They’ll already be airborne heading for their targets.
The WW2 new tech (‘BlitzKrieg’) and long range Jap bombing of Pearl Hbr shocked the public and the appeasers.
Does history repeat?
Does the next war start as a battle between orbiting assets and B2 bombers? Missiles, spysats, comms for unpiloted aircraft, warning systems, weather scans, shipping scans… the thing about hypersonics is they need guidance too.
In 1958 a US bomb test west of Hawaii sent out an EMP -for about 9hrs a huge area over thousands of miles of the Pacific -air, land and sea- had a long range radio blackout. And it was a very modest megaton test. Over the last half a century we can allow ourselves to think this phenomena has perhaps been weaponized. At a pinch. /s
#45 Exec order examined and strengthened EMP prep measures for NatSec.
#46 banned those measures day 1. Autopen man…
#47 removed the Biden ban on the measures.
Comms are critical to carrier fleets and subs as well.
The next war will be started like many others. It will be a false flag. FDR knew pearl harbor would be bombed and didn’t warn the harbors commanders.
Absolute b.s..
You know that’s not true.
Don’t know…but I’m sure the plans for it were stolen from us and sold to Russia by some spy…with no repercussions…
They were in America. If Pres. Trump goes to Russia the favor will be returned in full I’m sure.
Retired Magistrate here: If you got it, flaunt it.
Hahaha. Exactly.
Peace through strength. Peace saves precious lives. I had no idea until recently how many young lives are lost in the Ukraine war – any war, the forgotten ones. Each life precious, too precious for us to not know (me) or forget.
Retired Magistrate here: Yes, I agree as I am still grieving over the loss of my brother, John, as a result of exposure to Agent Orange in Viet Nam.
Viet Nam was another proxy war and so many lives were either lost on the battlefield or later due to the effects of the war. I still remember watching Walter Cronkite on the evening news and the nightly body count of those killed in Nam and hoping that my brother wasn’t one of them. Well the war finally got John it just took years later when he was diagnosed with ALS due to the exposure to Agent Orange.
Condolences on the loss of your brother, John. We had a neighbor who also had been exposed to Agent Orange and his son was born with alopecia. The military industrial complex got wealthy on the bodies of our young Americans. And it was all for nothing. Such a heartbreaking waste….
And to add insult to injury – many who did survive had mental health issues and were left homeless on the streets like garbage. President Trump knows all of this and values our military men & women. God bless him and let him be successful so no one needs to suffer needlessly!
You see the pictures of the soldier laying a lip lock on the nurse at the end of WW 2.
NOTHING like that happened for the kids that fought in Vietnam. And, the biggest
ones to blame for how vets were treated? The media. Why have we allowed them to
do nothing but teach people who to hate?
Walter Cronkite
SPIT!!!
My late father worked for the VT Highway Department, as a geologist, and was out in the field during the good weather. (BEFORE fruit loops were imported into the sparcely-populated state). He met Walt’s daughter. She hated her father.
What does THAT tell you?
Television broadcast helped destroy our country. It developed lies into believable images.
Cronkite was version 1.0 of the Mockingbird Media, or maybe the beta version – an early made man in the globalist Cabal. I remember seeing his “You were there” clips in school in the 60s, and came to a very early realization that they were no different than Newspeak in the book 1984, which I read at a young age, and which informed much of my current political philosophy and anti-establishmentarianism.
Walter Cronkite was an evil lying S***bag and the liberals think he was the second coming. SMH
Most liberal icons are “dirty, lying $h!tbag$”, as you say…
America’s most trusted voice:-(
Spit!
Don’t remind me. I remember how ppiss-poor our veterans were treated when they returned. Still makes my blood boil!!!
I remember looking at little stickers in the corner of windows of businesses proudly declaring that they would hire felons and veterans in the same little blurb. So insulting! Not even in the same league at all!
When my dad flew home for his father’s funeral, he was escorted out of a vfw. Not even welcome for a beer between flights.
It was an awful time to be active duty or a Vietnam vet.
Important book: THE HOMECOMING by Bob Greene. He was authorized by DOD to research via YES/NO survey, whether Vietnam vets were really mistreated upon returning home from SEA. In addition to checked boxes, he got letters from the vets, which he published as this book. I read most of it in the 1990s, but have never been able to finish it.
Exactly Walter Cronkite lied.
End
“THAT’S the way it is.”
-Walter Cronkite
“HEAR now the news”
-Roger Grimsby
“Here’s what YOU need to know..”

“See them all out there? They are FAKE news!”
-President Trump
The CIA learned and perfected how to run drugs for profit to fund their covert disruption and assassin operations as a result of Vietnam. Soldiers be damned, their was a BIGGER agenda, and their corruption got ever worse and impactful against everyday Americans and others. Corrupt bloodlines – control.
Don’t know about bloodlines, but plenty of satanic evil to spread around.
That’s why we must turn back to God and His Laws!
This TRULY is a spiritual war!!!
Yep and as far as I can tell it started with the Vietnam war and has continued. If you saw something you shouldn’t have it was your time to die. If you were good at not getting dead they tried to court martial you . When you won that as well they promised to track you for the rest of your life and ruin it should they still fail to kill you. Never dismiss a homeless person. There’s a story there that they dare not tell in many cases. JMO
I wish they could tell the stories. It might clear up the misunderstandings.
We have a little problem in my subdivision. There are homeless people breaking into the pool house at night in order to use the bathroom and sleep on the sofas.
Since my subdivision is between Camp Lejeune and Cherry Point in NC, I suggested that there was the possibility that these might be homeless veterans and as long as no damage was done, perhaps it might be wise to turn a blind eye until they could find other options. (we don’t have much to offer them in Morehead or Newport) which surprises me being so close to two military bases, so perhaps that would be a good thing to work on. I could do that.
But the residents are afraid of them and are convinced they are dangerous and they think drugs are involved but we don’t know that. We won’t know unless we investigate.
This is a high dollar resort area and owners pay big bucks for HOA fees. (Not me cause I’m renting). I think I’d like to try to find backup and work on this problem. A lone female would need backup for this effort.
The VFW is just down the road but I don’t know enough about them to seek help and I’m kinda timid in a man’s world. Maybe I need to stop bitching about this country and try to do something about the homeless veteran problem…..grow a pair as some of you would say. lol.
Your comment just got me thinking maybe I could possibly try to do something about this. I might be biting off more than I can chew as some of them are somewhat difficult. What do you think?
I felt too vulnerable although I certainly had a heart for it but both my own illness and caregiving my spouse for years got in the way of my extracurricular aspirations. You need a plan. Investigate potential resources. Find out what if anything others in your area are doing. Eventually you will learn enough to start surveying your target population. Plenty social workers rattle off contact information for help in the community without having checked their validity for years if not decades. As you progress in your research you will meet likeminded people. It’s a long grinding tedious study. You’ll probably need to learn how to write grant applications. It’s a noble work and I think that setting an example of valuing humans is something we’re all very aware of as so many are realizing that they may be next. Having our lives preserved in the cloud for posterity as we get replaced and tossed like garbage is just ridiculous and unacceptable so yes very timely. Protect your research. In years past I have seen that research suddenly become extremely valuable decades later. Even if you don’t achieve your end goal you will have done something great that others may build on. Researching your predecessors isn’t a waste of time either.
Not sure but I think it’s a national effort to routinely do homeless counts in communities now.
A disability check is not enough to prevent
homelessness. In my area seniors are the most rapidly growing demographic becoming homeless. Much research to do before you even consider surveying the people.
PS protect yourself and don’t ever go alone.
Good advice. When I first started doing community outreach and volunteer work it was sobering for me to encounter people who were absolutely stunned to see me delivering food in their ‘rough’ neighborhoods.
Thankfully, they liked what I was doing and protected me instead of jumping me. One bemused group of young boys would even ‘escort’ me down their street on their bicycles.
A young mother once scolded me never to come to her house after dark. This poor lady needed to feed her children but she was more concerned for my safety.
I am older (and wiser) now, but I still get involved in community outreach efforts and I always encourage and support community activism and awareness.
Thank God for people like Dixie.
dont try to do it yourself.. get in contact with organizations that are already doing this kind of outreach.
easy way ask GROK.COM who to contact
go to grok.com its an upto date AI search engine. ask it questions like who are the biggest outreach organizations in your state. then in your town , ask who should you contact to get help reaching the local homeless. ask for the top 5 organizations and their contact numbers. ask about local churches. ask what are likley to be the 5 most productive steps you can take to get experienced help meeting the need you see..
you can ask grok to summarize , put in table form , summarize pro and cons of each organization,
you can continue to ask questions after question ,, you can copy the whole conversation to a word processor and print it out
grok will do hours of research in 10 mins of questioning. and give actionable steps you can take. ( its incredibly useful )
God bless
Tim
Dixie, go meet with the wife of Camp LeJeune’s Commanding General.
Ask her work with the Command Sergeant Major’s wife to convene a meeting of officer & enlisted leaders’ wives to develop a plan (they’ll of course tap their spouses for input) to assess and address the plight of the Homeless Veterans in Local Communities.
You’ll undoubtedly get a FAR greater number of capable-and-committed people than any other approach … along with the Chain-of-Command influence that runs to the White House for Resources & Funding.
The Chain of Command should prompt DoD to develop a Program that recognizes successes and replicates “Best-Practices Solutions” across ALL our domestic bases.
Time adjustment Hoffmeister. While in Vietnam 68-69, was very much aware of how many Air America flights came into our air base for refueling coming in from “west” going “east”. They already knew everything they needed to know.
A guy I worked with was a gunner in the helicopters.
He was surly to me for a while but we became friends.
I never asked and he never talked about it but he had obvious issues. When the marines were killed in Beirut he took it hard, being a Marine.
I had a neighbor who served in Vietnam. Once we became close friends, he told me he was in Seal Team 6. One afternoon, after over imbibing, he pulled an old foot locker out of his attic which contained reminders of the atrocities of that war. He was a strong man with many demons. I was honored that he trusted me to listen while he released them. God bless our Service Members and their Commander in Chief! God bless America!
I believe the Holy Spirit must have been guiding you…… to listen. It was probably just what he needed 🙏
Listening to their stories is an honor to be sure. Thank you so much for being willing, able, and trusted enough to hear them.
Amen to that!
So sorry about your brother.
My brother spent a year in Da Nang. There was no way of knowing. I still hate Robert McNamara.. Glad he is dead.
Upside down, backwards, inside out! Quite a few other names could be on that cartoons tombstone!
McNamara’s son was a sorta friend of my younger brother back in the day. Way back in the day. Way back.
My father has degenerative disc from exposure to Agent Orange. I’m just blessed that he made it out alive.
His flight home was also shot down during take off and they crash landed in enemy territory but made it back, (without weapons) alive.
He’s told me some truly horrible stories. I still remember when I was a kid and he took us down the Vietnam memorial and we were walking around looking at all the names, my dad found out in that moment, that a young soldier he had trained had been killed. He had never known what happened to him until that day, with me and my siblings standing there. I was maybe 7 at the time.
I have so much disdain for the MIC. And my father’s disdain dwarfs mine, for good reason.
If someone voluntarily says that they fought in ‘Nam, then goes into many
stories, I generally tend to think that person is lying. Stolen valor
What myself and other friends have noticed. The true Vietnam vets ONLY
discuss Vietnam with others that have been there. And, when they do so, they
sit in a corner with that person, and look around to see if anyone else might
be listening in. No voluntary discussions with those that weren’t unfortunate
enough to experience it.
I have noticed the same. I was told they were very drunk, too. My father was best friends with a Riverboat Rat. My dad told me what his friend said. I joined the Navy in ’77. I worked for one in Guantanamo. Fast Freddy was always drunk or high, and I never thought any less of him.
Perhaps Bshaw’s father was relating what he’d been told.
My experience is that some veterans will gauge their audience first, before talking about their experiences. I was chatting to an elderly veteran, during a Remembrance Day ceremony, and when he realised that I was aware of the battle he’d fought in in Burma, (The Admin Box) he started talking about how dreadful the fighting was. Pretty soon he had streams of tears running down his cheeks and kept apologising to me.
I’ve had similar experiences with lots of veterans, but I’m sure many only tell their stories to those who would understand. I certainly remember talking to a para from the Falklands War who said that, after he’d returned home, his grandfather had taken him down the pub, bought him a pint and told him his Arnhem stories, because now he’d understand.
Many never share. Things, events only come out slowly over a lifetime. I had a high risk pregnancy. Hospital used a drug to keep the baby inside that I thought would make me crazy. That’s when my husband told me some of what was done to him as a POW just to encourage me to get through it. To this day the VA denies he was ever there. But the government never forgets. Even if you don’t tell your kids in order to protect them the government behaves as if all offspring knows everything for generations like a multigenerational Biblical curse. I hope this stuff all gets fixed so we can be unified in love and pride for our nation without having a hesitation in our hearts.
My uncle did . He was a pilot over there for a year. My Aunt and my cousin moved in the same apartments we lived in to be close to family. He was in the airforce but was not set to go but volunteered anyway. He was an excellent pilot finished first in his class. When he returned home he taught. My Dad and him were at odds over the war …in anger my Dad said he was nothing more than a trained killer. Geez the stuff you remember.
Of course they both got over all of that or just agreed not to talk about it anymore. I would say being in the air would be a little different than on the ground or so it would seem. We never worried about him because he was so skilled.
Back in the day pilots were given allot of freedom and when he was teaching he would zoom our summer shack and the windows would rattle ….instantly my Grandmother would exclaim ….it’s Bobby….and she would prepare a country meal fit for a king. She knew he would be coming from the base with young pilot in tow to have supper. Good Days.
My SIL’s Dad was a pilot too.. He returned to his wife and only child in a body bag.. She was born 3 weeks after he was deployed, she never met him.. Has a lot of his memorabilia, curtesy of her mother..
That is so sad… God bless your family.
Not a pilot, but worked with/for various VN era ones. I think “Flight of the Intruder” is probably as close providing some insight into the times as anything you are going to find in popular culture.
I think subsequent “tailhook” culture evolved from that, but to some extent I think the younger pilots who hadn’t actually experienced war were kind of living off the reputations of their seniors.
💕
Along that line, my brother was a dedicated Marine and served in active duty during the ” Korean Conflict”. I once asked him to tell me about his experiences, and all he ever said was “God was with him and that a NK sniper was a bad shot”. He would not go any further than that. I believe that the only additional thing he did say was that “MacArthur was right”.
When inquiring of veteran of their duty,
an often heard response that I come to understand and respect – because many veterans want to leave war experiences in the past
and move forward with peace here is
‘ I was just a cook ‘
( perhaps said to humbly deflect attention )
To which I reply:
that’s a very key role to accomplish every day so that others are ready and better able to serve their team effort roles too!!
Imho
Can’t agree. I went on active duty in 75 at least for Navy, there was no shortage of discussion. Now that I’m retired and living next to Schofield Barracks, there are many stories from 25th Inf Div vets. Not saying that what you see is incorrect, but I wouldn’t generalize from it.
That’s fair. I just haven’t ever seen it. I remember as a child WWII men trying to engage my father in that type conversation but he wasn’t having it. He had one story he would tell that was kind of funny but that was all. I know there was lots more due to him having surgeries later in life caused by what happened in the war but he only ever told the one story.
I used to work with a Vietnam vet. The only time he ever said anything was when he said that he would go out on night patrols. That was it, and it was one time only. No other comments ever.
I had four great-uncles, 3 of them brothers, who served in World War II. They were the same way. They would get together at family reunions and find a place off to themselves. They would talk and cry. My Granddaddy wasn’t accepted by the Military, he had flat feet. He worked in the CCC and a TNT plant. He was accepted into the group. That’s the only time anyone ever knew them to talk about their experiences.
Too broad a brush.
Some do, some don’t. Seen it both ways.
I agree usually veterans only discuss combat with other vets , because they know other vets will understand. I ve noticed that people who have seen real combat up close, dont mouth off about being violent, because its real to them. I ve had two conversations with different British SAS vets.. Just in case you dont know, soldjiers who stand out as excellent in the British Army are invited by their commander to take the entrance course for the SAS. With the 2nd vet he really opened up after I made the distinction between soldjiers and political protest VS people who really just want to kill civilians. He really opened up.
There are some very evil people in the world. And men like this vet see themselves as protecting the sheep from the wolves.
Our Lord told us, LOVE of money is the root of all evil!
Behold, today’s Washington D.C.!
My husband remembers today with horror that as a newly inducted Marine he was ordered to unload body bags from Vietnam in the dark at the end of the runway in San Diego.
That sounds like a better job for all national politicans, save PDJT.
Let THEM deal with the carnage of their greed!
My father had that task also. I was a little kid when I overheard his story. Only thing I remember is he said he “puked all over the pier.”
I’m sorry for your loss
Sorry for your loss Marcia.
Two of my brothers fought in that war…they both came back, one didn’t do well…ever.. until he
died in 2018.
I didn’t know it was a proxy war. I need to do a little studying..
I wonder….which was the/our first proxy war..
My condolences Marcia, I am a Vet of that conflict and know many who were effected both medically, mentally, and physically. Being in Military Intelligence, I saw a lot that other vets were not aware of. Agent Orange was a genuine bass turd! Just think what the Vietnamese were exposed to! They had nowhere to go as that was home! It ended up in their rice paddies!
We were 12 hours different from East Coast time. Noon there was Midnight here. So often the orders to return fire, get info, etc. were way too late. We made do with what was available to us in the meantime!
My husband passed quite recently. He fought death for a long time. His transitioning took a long time. The last cogent sentence that he said to me while he was transitioning was “I’m trying to get the blood out.” That sums up war effect on a warrior for me. It’s been helpful to read and share here today.
Ukraine probably has lost a generation of Young Men.
And I wonder how the remaining Ukrainians will ever forgive the US for obliterating the peace deal achieved a few weeks after the invasion, by sending Boris Johnson to Istanbul.
Boris Johnson represented the banks from the City of London, not the USA. I respectfully suggest that you look up the work of Alex Krainer on this. You can also find “The Empire Of The City” by E. C. Knuth at http://www.archive.org and read that.
“The Empire of The City” is anti Semitic trash.
I would venture 2 generations. What a tragedy.
Maybe more! Was reported most refugees do not intend to ever return; men, women and children!
Is a tortured country after trying to survive WWII, Stalin’s Holodomor, USSR Collapse, Chernobyl and chronic corruption; now war with Russia.
It’s been a slaughter…. on both sides.
The “depop cult” has been orgasmic.
The loss of life in Ukraine is unfathomable, and IMESHO, there hasn’t been a serious effort to end the fighting until now. IMESHO, the war in the Ukraine has also served the Uniparty and the Deep State to distract from the many domestic attacks against a Constitutional America!!
Amen.
Perfect. ‘Nuff said.
One question : Are you a Retired Magistrate?
Chicago is probably next and watch Brandon squeal like a stuck pig
Maybe Baltimore, seeing as it’s practically right next door.
And especially the MSM.
“Marcia” is a retired magistrate and an upstanding person in every respect. A magistrate would have experience and knowledge in various legal arenas. It’s good to know that various Treepers have got certain bases covered.
Putin’s remarks at the end included suggestion that next time the two leader meet in Moscow.
I would expect a similar “flaunting” or at least an attempt.
How would anyone see that display and not think of the total destruction on Iran’s nuclear facilities.
Most of what Russia has left is cardboard cutouts.
Well Timmy, it only takes 1 cardboard finger to incinerate all of mankind on this planet!
TRUMP: See Vlad, we know where your arsenals are located!
PUTIN: inside the thought bubble…Message received.
Trump: “Beautiful plane, eh? Want one, Vlad??” (claps hands)
Looks like Vlad has good hearing. He heard the planes approaching. heh.
If you watched the two leaders interacting, both had a conversation, which means both men speak and understand English. Pres. Putin blew off the annoying reporters, as both leaders should have done.
My understanding is that our VSGPDJT know Russian as well. Maybe they practice with each other?
I did a quick search and found no evidence supporting your contention that PDJT speaks Russian at all.
Care to provide the basis of your understanding?
yes, I’ve been told they practice vacation-resort patter like
“These enchiladas are under-heated”
President Trump reminds me of George Washington and the Holy Providence of God!
https://www.americanheritage.com/miraculous-care-providence
FTA “Upon at least five occasions when in great danger from gunfire George Washington remained unscathed. His hat was shot off his head; his clothes were torn; horses were killed beneath him, but the hero was never so much as scratched by a bullet. For this immunity he thanked “Providence.” He also wrote himself down as lucky.”
These are the Greatest Days in History to be alive and our God has put us here for our destinies within His Kingdom. Rejoice!
Isaiah 60
1
“Arise, shine; for your light has come,
And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
2
For behold, darkness will cover the earth
And deep darkness the peoples;
But the Lord will rise upon you
And His glory will appear upon you.
We were created for these times!
Praise the Lord!
Profound. Simple. TRUTH. 🙏❤️
I wonder if they shared their favorite FJB jokes with each other, off camera, microphone and record, of course.
Biden was of so little consequence as to be invisible. Biden didn’t exist. No one can show anything but the filth he left behind.
Like a slug, the only evidence of his passing is his trail of slime.
That’s an insult to slugs!
That lingering stench…you just have to rip up the carpet.
Hope PT finds one…….Melania Trump for President 2028……Wallace pulled that one in Alabama many moons ago. Don’t know if I would be for or against a third term. Vance, DeSantos, Rubio need to be allot more convincing in order for me to trust any of the 3.
Rubio is not a natural born citizen. Therefore, he cannot LEGALLY serve a single day as president or vice president. And no, Obama’s usurpation of the presidency did not negate the Constitution’s requirements for that office any more than OJ Simpson getting away with murder negated laws against that crime!
DeSantis is Constitutionally eligible but does not deserve to be president. He is an anti-Trump deep state supporter. Definitely, not MAGA. He is nothing but a pretender.
Vance is also Constitutionally eligible but has yet to prove himself.
If there were justice in America, PDJT would have a do-over from term 1 b/c the asinine bureaucrats refused to accept the results of the 2016 election.
Agree.
It also says the winner shall serve.
PDT won in 2020.
I think so. The part where the press was screeching gotcha qs. at them, it looked like President Trump may have told P. Putin to nevermind the fake news press.
Putin knows about the stuff that Trump didn’t show him as well. That stuff is out of this world. Really.
“Yes, We have several of those. You should see the stuff we keep hidden.”
Europe doesn’t want peace. This is Churchill’s “Operation Unthinkable,” warmed over. Russia broken into forty-odd helpless little countries, each one given a name and a flag(!). They could taste it. But, they couldn’t achieve it. They still want to, however. As long as they don’t have to fight.
“Z” still believes in his backers, and he’s still cashing their checks. He still can’t see what’s about to happen to him … 💀… but history books do.
Trump is going to cut off the weapons spigot, the intelligence spigot, and most especially the money spigot. Clearly, during the negotiations, he listened without demanding.
Exactly!!! Unlike Sundance Samantha Power would not be permitted to visit Russia is my guess!!! Because that’s exactly what she wanted to do breakup Russia via color revolutions into “forty-odd helpless little countries, each one given a name and a flag” controlled by our corrupt IC!!! JMO
One can but hope.
I pray you are right about what the President is going to do to force Zelenskyy to make peace.
Dr. Evil would have had the sense not to publish his intended map, until he had achieved victory.
The leaders who orchestrated this war publicly announced their intentions, thereby alerting Putin and the Russian people what was intended for them.
Reminds me of the last game of the World Series in 2001. (The first game had Bush throwing out the first ball, no doubt with a bulletproof vest on, and the roofs packed with SS snipers.)
Just after the National Anthem, out of the Arizona dark came a B-2 bomber for a fly-over. Message to bin Laden?
“We’re back. We’re bad. And we’re coming for you.”
Message to bin Laden?
“Report to Dirty Bob at once!”
Dude, I was at that Game 7. I saw the B-2 in person. They call it stealth for a reason. At one point it appears as a dot far away in the horizon. You can’t hear it until it passes overhead. Then, boom! Make no mistake…Vlad got the message.
They don’t call it stealth for a reason, it’s stealth because of the overall design and its ability to not be detected by radar.
And when it does come into view, it’s awesome. Sort of a 21st Century Batplane.
See mine to Wethal above, Blake.
I know what you mean about it being right on top of you before you could even hear it.
It was kinds spooky. Thrilling, but spooky.
Have experienced B-2s flying overhead at KC Chief games. Perfectly awesome and just a touch and go maneuver from Whiteman AFB.
My only sighting of a B-2 was when it came from the north, out of the darkness and made a slow turn to the east that profiled it against a rising full moon. It looked almost like a giant bat.
It looked huge. It seemed very intimidating and I had a big adrenaline rush when I suddenly realized what I was seeing.
It was apparently coming from the base on nearby Whidby Island, and was shockingly close when it banked and turned. We’re in a flight path, so we get to see a lot of cool aircraft, but it’s the only time I’ve seen a B-2.
It was flying low and slow, and seemed awfully quiet for its size. It was something I’ll never forget. I had goosebumps all over my body.
It appeared out of the darkness and whoosh! it was gone.
Bonus: President Trump exited Air Force One and walked a few steps onto the red carpet, while Putin had to walk a long way to get to President Trump.👍🏻💪🏻
Then, he got into Trump’s car instead of his own waiting limousine.
These are two men with great (and, proper …) respect for each other and pride in their countries. Who would finally have the opportunity to talk “face to face” without interference. They obviously made the most of it. They met on a well-guarded piece of American soil, but Trump treated Putin with honor and respect. As well he should have.
Give peace a chance …
It may an optical illusion, but Putin’s red carpet width looked like he was walking a narrow plank.
He was watching what was being presented to him. Would be a shame to have a dedicated fly-by, just for you, and you never even look up to see what went by.
Intimidated? No. Apparently likes a good airshow, giving the respect to the pilots by diverting his attention to them.
And it’s not as though Putin was unaware of the Stealth Bomber–after all, we’ve used it enough.
agree, evergreen!
all the jockeying for position being postulated about here,
trying to extract meaning from the slightest word or action, is irrelevant.
PT’s negotiating skills are legendary.
he would know you don’t clobber your counterpart over the head
and try to bludgeon him into submission at this stage.
quickest way to failure.
i think the flyover was a salute to this particular world leader.
period.
(unless it was a demo for a future sales contract?😂)
“i think the flyover was a salute to this particular world leader.
period.”
I concur. PJDT showing respect.
This.
Agree
In Russia they do flyovers like this almost every day, it was nothing out of the ordinary for Putin.
I agree.
And I think if it was a “message” to anybody, it was to the enemies of both leaders that this was a seriously secured and untouchable affair.
trump is getting savaged jbm the media…not shocking…but unnecessary…..he put himself right in the middle of this russia/ukraine mess….he is giving the bad guys(the left..the neocons…the eu) exactly what they
d hoped for...."trumps war”……unforced error…meant to throw trump into the bog…and it worked….don
t know whether it was all the talk about "nobel prizes'....an ego thing...or maybe the neocons threatened him with a bloodbath in the midterms if he didnt play ball?….but trump capitulated…went back on his campaign promises of staying out of these insane foreign entanglements….this and the horribly handled matt gaetz fiasco…his two biggest mistakes thus far….just no reason to give the bad guys the rope with which to try and hang him…
i have no idea how this ends….so disappointed
🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 So many being played and it ain’t PRESIDENT TRUMP. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
and the deeper we step into this morass, the more responsible we become for the rebuild……horrific…
Sadly, we fomented the “color revolution” that led to this very outcome. However, we certainly weren’t alone. If we participate in a rebuild and Trump is President, I think he will see to it that it’s worth the investment.
wake up.
its already over just like iran nukes. we dont to spend time fairy taleing.
its done. the rest of this is theatre for persuasive purposes of the public
You should change your handle to Skid Marks…(insert eyeroll emoji)
Good try
The U.S. was already involved in the Ukraine mess, as I am sure you noticed. Trump’s task is to decide how to extricate us. Like you, I have a different preference, but then, I’m not President (luckily for all concerned).
I am not happy about the Gaetz outcome, but he probably could not have been confirmed.
As with all presidencies, I will watch and wait and judge accordingly. There was absolutely no better option than Trump, so he is what we have. I really want him to succeed, but have no emotional attachment to him personally.
I’m obviously less intelligent about strategy than to be here commenting on this thread but in my naivete, I love our President Trump and would support him in any way I can. He is a savvy business man and seems to know what he is doing. I respect that but I just hate all the roadblocks and interference he’s getting.
Trump inherited this “entanglement.” His goal now is to settle it – which both Europe and his own neo-cons do not want him to do.
Why not? “Because there are billions at stake.” 💰
What’s that? “Young Ukranian and Russian men?” Oh, who cares. Keep 💰 your 💰 eyes 💰 on 💰 the 💰 prize …
That’s a way to look at it, but the situation is more complex and fluid. Zelenskyy is the head of a puppet (of the US) country. He is just another “useful idiot”, and his time and (superficial) influence is coming to an end once PDJT shuts down this trafficking/money laundering operation. The constant bashing of PDJT’s handling of certain issues is fear and desperation – coming from elected members of our own government, as well as the EU, in order to protect their revenue stream(s). They will never have enough. As long as they are allowed to continue our world will stay ugly in many ways, and the narrative coming out of the media will continue to intensify. I know it’s difficult to maintain perspective, all of us struggle from time to time, but try to not fall prey to their lying hysteria. 🙏❤️🇺🇲
They had their talking points ready to go as soon as this meeting was announced.
It did not matter what was said, done, demonstrated, nor written.
I hope you recover from your obvious computer problems and your obvious miscalculations re President Trump.
CONGRATULATIONS!! You win today’s Roger Ramjet Award for Most Idiotic Commie Troll.
Performance art.
If the C 👁 a & 5 👀 aren’t amused then I’m good.
The euroweenies & the 🧌 keep babbling about security guarantees… we’ll step right on up & get r done cause we’re done with y’all. Bleed for yourselves.
I love it when the asshole asked “Mr Putin when will you stop killing children” as if we don’t do that ever day in this country and
in wartime.
Mr. Putin: “Unlike the USA, we don’t allow abortion in Russia.”
I hated it.
That activist – NOT journalist – took what was a historic moment we were all enjoying, and defiled it, for posterity. She didn’t want to let us have this moment. It was intentional. She knew before she screamed her insults that the Russian president wasn’t going to stop and respond to her puerile behavior, so the act was solely to destroy the beautiful atmosphere of the day.
Does anyone have her name?
I betcha President Trump and Caroline Levitt do.
And I betcha she doesn’t fly with POTUS again.
It didn’t destroy my beautiful atmosphere of the day because I am not going to give her that power.
No moral leg to stand on…correct.
Also in the first round of indoor questions, the dulcet tones of Kaitlan Collins screeching in the media melee, her fingernails on blackboard voice drowning out all the others, asking if President Putin will stop killing civilians.
Forgetting/ignoring the continuing democide inflicted in this country via the genocidal bioweapon.
Oh the irony, which is completely lost on venal media propagandists and thugs.
President Trump should label the “press” as “enemies of the State” and not allow them anywhere near visiting dignitaries or anyone else for that matter. Tell them a brief on the particular meeting will be distributed and give them a one-page description of the proceedings. And he should add that, due to their previous behavior when we “have company” they will not be invited as we don’t want to be embarrassed to have them see the type of people we have as our “press.”
Their access should be labeled “press privileges”, subject to withdrawal on the first infraction of clearly defined rules. Which would include as Number One “Conduct Unbecoming”. Based on that, there would be no American press allowed.
Perhaps that would, in the Welsh vernacular (not mine), “Stop their farting in Chapel.”.
Designate the former ‘press’ as “Terrorist Organizations”?
In fact, if not in name.
War sucks. There are civilian casualties on both sides now and were in the Donbas from Ukrainian shelling since 2014.
The questions I heard:
“President Putin, would you agree to a ceasefire?”
“Mr President, what’s your message to Vladimir Putin?” Then President Trump shook President Putin’s hands.
“Mr Putin, did you underestimate Ukraine?”
“President Putin, would you stop killing civilians?”
“President Putin, how can the US trust your word?”
Will these disruptive members of an increasingly dishonorable “profession” be hurling the same type of questions at Zelensky should they get their chance?
My bet is they will not.
Bingo!
They always act like a room full of screeching monkeys.
Questions asked by a “journalism graduate” from one of our elite universities that excel with Marxist indoctrination, evil roots of America and an active DEI program and suppressing freedom of speech!
COULDN’T SURVIVE 1 FULL DAY IN BASIC TRAINING, LET ALONE ANY ACTUAL COMBAT WITH “REAL” BULLETS!
Okay I like Trump again
Again…pray without ceasing.
Yes.
Jim Rickards just pointed out that though President Trump is correct about our two countries being the top nuclear powers in the world, he’s wrong that we’re the top nuclear power; Russia is number one, they have greater nuclear power than we do.
Though I guess it hardly matters once you’ve reached the point of using nuclear weapons.
Yeah. It really doesn’t matter whether you’re vaporized by a hypersonic missile or a regular one.
Nice video. Says a lot.
As I’ve said before, Donald Trump does not think small. Think of the problems around the world that could be solved by a major agreement between him and Putin. Even better if Xi could be included. China is having problems now too, it seems – problems that could be solved easily with a working agreement between the three of them. Again – not a lot different than three mafia families coming together and agreeing that, if they could only stop killing each other, there would be plenty of money to be made for all of them. Here, of course, I’m referring to economic and security well-being of the people of each country.
The ME – Udraine – solved with a three-way agreement. Hot spots around the world disappear easily. Europe could be ignored, as they would have no choice but to fall in line. Even the City of London too?? Think about what the world could look like then.
And, again, there is nothing that matters more to Donald Trump at this stage of his life more than his legacy. I have the strong feeling that he wants his legacy to be that he saved this country – and the world(??) from moving into the chaos of the cycle that repeats over and over again through history.
Is it any wonder that so many want desperately to destroy Donald Trump? Democrats are the party of entropy. The instruments of “tearing stones apart.”
We finally have someone managing our country who loves America as much as Putin loves Russia.
That was great! Loved both Presidents shaking hands. Perhaps we really do have a chance for Peace.
SD your wit is the best, ok I’m donating lol
I guess I just see things a lot differently (objectively) than a lot of you.
We watched as President Trump rolled out the red carpet and invited an adversarial dictator into our country who went on to stream roll POTUS in front of the entire world.
Gave him a ride in the big presidential car trying to impress him like a lovesick tween?
Brought his gaggle of unqualified sycophantic advisers? (except maybe Little Marco). Was all smiles like they were besties. And fell for Putin flattery parroting President Trump’s **theory** that the war would have not have happened if he had been president. Only one person fooled themselves into thinking this would turn out differently and no one dares tell him so.
That was one of the weakest, most embarrassing presidential moments in my lifetime.
Don’t pretend you’re seeing things more objectively when you’ve obviously gullibly sucked up all the false narrative of the mockingbird media, yes, you saw things differently because you watched a different show.
Try and imagine how laudatory that same mockingbird media would have responded to the same events had it been Obama in the show instead of President Trump.
They would have given him “another” Nobel Peace prize for simply showing up!
He’s have the vapors, let him work through it.
I’d imagine an actual peace agreement will have him bedridden for days.
Cult members always believe they have the only truly objective view and the things being expressed by Mr. Carbajal is the same things easily heard from the other sufferers of TDS.
There is no breaking through the veil of illusion except by the individual removing that veil on their own – and most won’t do that for fear of being ostracized, ex-communicated from their tribe.
It is the lucky ones, the ones that quietly begin listening to their inner insight and start to ask the right questions and actually want the answers, that begin to see the true, bigger picture, of what is going on. It’s why independents, historically Democrat black and latino voters, those who joined the walkaway movement, voting for the Make America Great Again ideas has been growing larger with each new election cycle. Brave people who finally get it.
Ha ha ha.
Thanks glowie.
Deep Thoughts by Jack Handey?
I think we’ll all just pass on these …
That is your “objective” view? Get off the ‘weed’.
POTUS flatters others all the time for two reasons: they like it and their publice likes it.
He knows the same tactic is used on him.
I’m not Ukrainian so I do not respond emotionally to what’s been going on there.
I do know this: if Ukrainians and anyone else, American included, ever thought they could fight
the Russians w/out their country being devastated, without losing a generation of young men, they were fools from the beginning.
Putin could drop dead right now, and there is no assurance that the next leader of Russia would make things any better for the people of Ukraine…or Russia.
Putin doesn’t care about the Russian lives he has sacrificed, and with the exception of one Donald J. Trump, the other Western leaders don’t give a shit about the Ukrainian lives sacrificed either. Without American military involvement on the ground and in the air, you’ll notice no Western European power is willing to put their militaries to fight. That’s was totally predictable.
Nothing Potus has done has been embarrassing to me. He recognized a quagmire when he sees one.
When you list the wars we have fought for no gains, only dead bodies being flown back to the US with flags draped upon them, you realize that all the little “diplomatic” niceities are nothing more than extraneous
idiocies.
Oh, you don’t want POTUS to shake hands with Putin? You want each to stand behind a painted line on the tarmac as they stare each other down? LOL.
I go back to this one thing: all those Western powers, along with us through Joe Biden, are guilty of giving PUTIN an excuse to go to war. They kept fresh the idea that more and more countries would belong to NATO.
Yeah, it’s dangerous to poke a bear unless you can fight your own fight against it.
Ukraine and Europe want us to fight that war.
Hell, no.
Putin doesn’t care about the Russian lives he has sacrificed
Mind reading or do you have a pipeline to his brain?
“Nothing Potus has done has been embarrassing to me.”
To me, either.
Bless your heart!
“Bless your heart!”
And the horse he rode in on!
I feel sorry for you.
Such a sad little person/
Yes, I’m sure the view is a lot different when you’re living on the moon. 😂😂😂
Or living at The Farm
“The Farm”
You poor thing.
SPIT on you Troll!
Mote in your eye? “Jane, you insufferable twit!”
Such a cute post. Lot’s of thought there! 😀😅😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Does Mom know you are on this site again? Didn’t think so. Now go wash up dinners about ready.
he should have let russia and ukraine fcking waste our money for decades right? insane
you dont read here often, or you would have never said soemthing so pointless.
go find the article talking about new shipping lanes and russias importance in the future.
and quit wasting progress.
Give my regards to the poofters that run ActBlue.
“I guess I just see things a lot differently (objectively) ”
Then proceeds to post the most subjective hysterical bleat of the day.
TRILLION$
The ‘Big Caddy’ is almost a SCIF. Trump and Putin could make use of private comms -to be out of IC reach. My first thought is that a year ago the intel and mil-industrial complex deep state that very likely did the Butler deed… was in large part to block these personal comms ever occurring.
Jealous are we? That is the vibe I am getting from this poor excuse for a comment.
William, your slip and your TDS are showing. GFY.
Here are my thoughts:
1. Putin came to Trump on US soil (Alaska) when Biden couldn’t even get Putin on the phone.
2. Putin needs to somehow save face after losing over 1 million casualties in his Ukraine war.
3. Trump will now meet Putin and Zelensky, more likely in Budapest, Hungary, to sign a peace deal.
4. Trump’s perfectly timed flyby, which obliterated the Iranian nuclear program, is a classic power move.
5. Joe Biden was able to fly massive, highly advanced Chinese spy balloons across the United States, including our most sensitive military bases. He was even able to blow up the Chinese balloon after it had completed its mission, so that we couldn’t know exactly what sort of information and strategic intelligence it was able to gather… that takes real skill.
Putin is not the one who must “save face” here. Neither side publishes casualty figures.
“Z” is a dead man standing, who will have no future part of anything. I’m amazed he wasn’t “disposed of” long before now.
Europe has been locked out. Their grand proxy operation has utterly failed.
I’m sorry this is happening to you.
Wow! The snarker in chief chimes in to show how much smarter he is. Whatever happened to free speech?
You’re enjoying it right now. How does it feel?
😂
Name calling is a weak response – do better.
Yours or mine?
What a snotty brat you are. No manners.
A sign of low intelligence.
Free speech does not mean that people don’t have to agree with nor like your speech. You said what you wanted to say and now, everyone gets to react with what you said with their own free speech.
I don’t know why so many think that free speech means that no one gets to criticize your free speech.
😂🤣😂
Admin… I thought there was considerable sarc in B.P.’s post…. was I mistaken?
In his last paragraph….
IMHO-we could give him some wiggle room I suppose….
Its 95 degrees, the corn is sweating adding to humidity, the grass literally grows overnight and I can’t keep up with it…The AC works…life is too short not to live one’s best life…
Sundance…
Meanwhile,
In Fly Over Country,
yesterday at the dry runs for the Chicago Air and Water Show, the AF Thunderbirds, windows were being shattered along Lake Shore Drive…(inserting smiley face if I knew how)…
😀
There took care of it for you!
copy this cool smiley face 😎
colon cool colon (no spaces and nothing else close)
Not seeing with whom Putin needs to “save face”? I don’t know where your “one million casualties” comes from, but it seems pretty clear the RF is able to generate sufficient forces to maintain the current level of effort. Meanwhile the RF offensive missile systems seem capable of penetrating Ukraine airspace at will, and also seem to have superior technology to western ones, notwithstanding the RF is supposed to be cannibalizing washing machines for chips due to embargoes.
The Ukraine second defense line appears to be under constant attack and without a ceasefire I don’t see that it can stand. Ukraine and the US have to decide what they will give up to get a ceasefire. Flying B-2s overhead is not going to somehow alter facts on the ground.
Utterly correct.
That’s quite severe case of cognitive dissonance you have going on there.
You must have been that kid that always got bitten by dogs for some reason.
“Here are my
thoughtstalking points:”GREAT OPTICS FOR POTUS. What VLAD knows that we won’t admit to is that Multi-Static radar systems can identify and track the aircraft types used in the flyover. VLAD knows he has those capabilities and systems already fully operational in his military. He is a cagey one.
p
Its not as if those RADARS a) can’t be sensed (they can) and b) jammed on the simple desire for the US to do so.
Also, you DO realize the profile of those particular aircraft minimize ‘returns’ or ‘back scatter’ energy? Part of LO (Low Observable) technology including wing/fuselage profile and the selection of coating/’paint’ used …
OH pshaw! The Russians and everyone else have defenses against our trinkets before we even think about them. Them Russians heap smart! Don’t get me started on the Chinese. You ever notice all our aircraft look just like theirs. They come out with something and in no time we have a copy on display. Smart I tell you inventive and smart. Just look at their Bamboo Valley!
I really enjoy watching Vlad’s swashbuckling walk. He displays the epitome of sprezzatura.
Thanks for the new (to me) word… it fits.
You’re welcome. I love learning new words.
“The meaning of SPREZZATURA is studied nonchalance : graceful conduct or performance without apparent effort.”
It is a pretty word!
…with a meaning that I should probably aspire to…
Putin always holds his right hand by his side and swings his left arm while walking. I read that this is all KGB learned. Just thought I’d throw in a little, “Nugget of knowledge” about Putin.
I say to let President Trump work it out….he always has a plan in his vest pocket…three steps ahead of everyone else.
They say the swinging arm is fake so that the real hand is ready to fire a weapon. IDK if it’s true 🤔
Jackals: “Screamed question, screamed question, 3rd question, harpie squawking not a question..”
Presidents: “Silence”
Jackals: ” Mr. President, what’s your message to President Putin?”
President Trump: …. turns to President Putin, offers big strong handshake with genuine warmth and smile…
🧱 🪟
Jackals: “President Putin, are you going to stop killing civilians?”
President Putin:
…touches ear grins walks away..
With President Trump to The Beast.
🧱🪟
I’m loving it.
What a great weekend so far. 🤣🙏❤️
I was hoping Trump would sail into port on top of a nuclear submarine. The fly-over is the same sort of thing as the Super Bowl … not eyebrow-raising to a sports fan. I wonder if the diss in housing the Russian journalists was deliberate, or just because Anchorage is a dinky place and they ran out of room.
“Hey Vlad….say hello to my little friends…!”
I love it! 💕
Respect! Communication! Between the two top Superpower Presidents dealing with a world that wants badly to take them down is a Beautiful Thing.
Every time I see that fireworks photo I think why does the second guy look like Lavrov? https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/svg/1f602.svg
“Очень впечатляет.”
Well, I’m not a fan of the meeting except as a way to bypass the control mechanisms put in place by Suzie Wiles and her ilk.
Meow!
Putin looks a little nervous. Wonder if he’s considering whether they can pick him off with President Trump nearby. After all, precision attack did happen.
What I find interesting is that President Trump and Putin are speaking to each other without interpreters in the video. That being said, while most seem to feel that the planes flying over was a US show of superiority or military strength, I found it to be a respectful greeting to President Putin.
Thanks. I couldn’t guess why the flyover, in Sundance’s view, was disturbing to the EU/NATO folks and the CIA/5 eyes. This would explain it indeed.
p.s. it would be nice if Sundance would verify (it was so obvious to him but not so much to some of us)
Kind of like the old 21 gun salute? Yeah maybe so.
That’s how I saw the flyover too; a respectful greeting just as when foreign leaders go to other nations there is a formal inspection of the host country’s troops. Noticed there were some, about 5, on each side, one a rep of various US troops and assumed the other side were some Russian troops, maybe Russian secret service standing in for that formal walk along the red carpet.
Could be wrong, but that is how I saw it. I think Monica Crowley, the head of foreign protocol measures, put this opening welcome moment together perfectly.
Putin was really intimidated by the flyover:
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GyfjELRWIAEFUcP?format=png&name=small
I am sure it crossed his mind, given the attempts and near misses he has already experienced in his homeland.
I think the word was closer to “impressed.”
I live near an Air National Guard base with F-16s flying maneuvers all the time. The sound of a streaking fighter is so vivid and riveting that I always look up to see it. Always. President Putin clearly loves and appreciates that sound. His reaction to look up and find them is as natural to him as breathing. That was genuine wonderment. It never gets old.
I lived near an AFB and always loved seeing all the planes. It made me feel safe and proud!
I get it! Awesome to see…
During the Lightbringer reign, he came to Chicago once…and there was the mother of all fighter jets that flew over my house, so low, it looked like it would take out the squirrel’s nest in my oak tree but no windows shattered. And I am not exaggerating.
I saw a B2 in flight once. Was 35,000 ft. over St. Louis when the pilot comes on to announce a B2 Stealth Bomber coming at us on my side of the plane. Suddenly, there it was outside my window just below us not 150 yards from us in bright sunshine. Most majestic human-made thing I’ve ever seen and I’ve visited the Taj Mahal. Truly elegant. Still a thrill after all these years. If I have one professional regret it’s that I never served in the military. My daughter is making up for her dad. Thankful.
They do F-16 flybys down the Delaware shoreline. Everyone on the beach looks up and sometimes a few people will clap. It is a common occurrence down at the DE beaches. The tourist gets all excited and try to get pictures, but they gone by the time they put their phones up to the sky.
I had arms length audio and visual of FA18s and my Army son tells me his squad were given a random order to move by air to a strip only an hour or so away for a overnight picket duty -and it turned out to be a pair of B2s. All phones were put in officer’s security case before the uplift. No fencing, no tower, mobile comms shelter, latrines, and K9s.
I’m in the flight pattern for Cherry Point Marine Base. I love it.
He like that B2…
A man sees what he wants to see and disregards the rest.
We all carry assumptions by which we interpret new facts.
Our brains sometimes lie to us. Why do you perceive color in your peripheral vision when the color detecting cones all face forward? Perhaps “lie” is too strong as our brains are simply adding in what it perceives as missing information.
By the same token, our brains reject assertions that contradict our assumptions. Which makes talking to some people excruciatingly difficult and why the mockingbirds that perch on the branches of the Treehouse seem to reside in an uncanny valley.
Communication is hindered when assumptive facts are not shared.
With the throat clearing out of the way here is how I interpret the events on the tarmac:
“Pretty cool how I used those big beautiful birds to get out of the box the IC was trying to put me in, huh?” Handshake. “Let’s talk away from these mockingbirds, shall we?”
What might you come up with for this subtle little vignette of greeting?
Putin: (looking up) “I had no idea you chaps were so far advanced!”
PT: (shrugging) “Oh, yes, yes. But that’s nothing. You should see what we’ve been developing in our deep tunnels and caverns beneath the surface of the whole continent. It would cause you a heart attack.”
🤣
Trump is the guy who bombed the crap out of Syria in real time while Xi was hosting a state dinner for him. He has a way of adding a dash of spice to the mix. Aside from this buzz, which both Trump and Putin smoothed over, the rest of the visit seemed extra cordial, including Vlad hitching a ride in The Beast and smiling through it. They’re like two college guys enjoying themselves, sometimes with a little prank.
That’s right! Who could forget the MOAB quietly happening while Xi was visiting!
The B-2 bomber was developed to penetrate Russian air defenses and deliver nuclear strikes against strategically important targets before returning to bases in the continental United States.
Who is the shrieking harpie asking Putin those questions? What a feculent gutterslut.
feculent will be a vocab word for my 4 grandsons under 8. todays word was “prudent”, working hard to clean up gutterslut…lol.
“feculent gutterslut”, eloquent phraseology. Thank you.
Imagine President Trump saying to Putin as the B-2 flew over, “We just bombed Moscow. You’re my prisoner…”
What a moment! Well planned, Sir and very well received!
Body language screamed who was actually in charge.
Myth (smear) of the Downtrodden Veteran (Vietnam and other) from National Review (Kate O’Beirne):
“Burkett’s [Vietnam veteran, and co-author of “Stolen Valor”, B. G.
“Jug” Burkett] exhaustive research thoroughly debunked the myth
represented by Kerry’s ragtag band of angry, disaffected protesters.
When compared with their non-veteran peers, Vietnam veterans do not
have higher incidences of drug abuse, unemployment, suicide,
divorce, or homelessness. “In every category for which I could find
statistics,” writes Burkett, “Vietnam veterans were as successful or
more successful than men their age who did not go to Vietnam.” Vietnam
veterans on average have higher incomes than non-veterans and are more likely to have a college education and own a home. In contrast to John Kerry’s portrayal of disillusioned victims.
Burkett thought he was signing on for a short project, but he ended
up exposing more than 1,200 bogus Vietnam War records, including those
of prominent activists, celebrated war heroes, criminals, politicians,
and even a well-known actor. For years, Brian Dennehy publicly
maintained he was a Vietnam combat veteran, telling a New York Times
reporter in 1989 about his combat wounds, and holding forth about the
brutal realities of combat in a 1993 Playboy interview. Burkett’s
examination of Dennehy’ military records showed that during his four
years on active duty his only overseas assignment was in Okinawa in
1962, and there was no record of his having ever been wounded.
Last year, Burkett was awarded the Army’s highest decoration for
civilians, the Distinguished Civilian Service Award. The decoration
represents the debt owed Burkett by the 2.7 million veterans who served
in Vietnam whose honorable records and reputations he has tirelessly
defended. At the award ceremony, an undersecretary of the U.S.
Department of Veterans Affairs explained that in addition to restoring
their good name to Vietnam veterans, Burkett “exposed a mass distortion
of history that cost taxpayers billions of dollars” in undeserved
veterans benefits. The government pays up to $3,000 a month to Vietnam
veterans with symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and
bogus documents have qualified an unknown number of phony veterans for
these benefits. Burkett explains that he recently helped conduct a VA
study of 100 such alleged PTSD victims chosen at random. They found that
“only 39 percent were in remotely close contact with combat, and some
were never in the military.” Over a lifetime, phonies can collect a
million dollars each in VA benefits.
One of Burkett’s most shocking accounts of the media bias responsible for the
distorted image of Vietnam veterans involves a 1988 CBS documentary,The
Wall Within, hosted by Dan Rather. The hour-long special featured
horrific accounts of murder and mayhem witnessed by six purported Vietnam
veterans with post-war histories of drug abuse, alcoholism, homelessness, and despair. The atrocities and ruined lives were apparently “too good to check”: By consulting records that CBS failed to research, Burkett found that only one of the veterans had actually served in combat.
Burkett contacted CBS with his documentation and the Veterans Administration shared its data refuting CBS’s assertions about the high incidence of homelessness and mental illness among Vietnam veterans. The producers defiantly stood by their bogus story and the president of CBS defended the broadcast. After recounting the sorry episode of journalistic malpractice, Burkett wrote: “Why won’t Rather and CBS admit their ‘documentary’ was a fraud, that it perpetuated an unwarranted, false picture of men who fought in Vietnam?” Sixteen years ago, the indefatigable B. G. Burkett was fighting a lonely battle
to hold the media accountable. With reinforcements in the blogosphere and new media, CBS finally has to say, “We’re sorry.”
We now know that you can “copy and paste”. What is your point?
I found it glorious on so many levels. Big Fun.
In these comments I feel a lot of smugness by Americans vs Russia. Is that emotion warranted?
Russia has demonstrated hypersonic weapons for which the west was not prepared, has it not?
So why is the American government pretending it is superior? We have known for over a year that Ukraine is losing the war. Is someone going to win this war with drones?
Why would anyone act like they have the upper hand here?
Classic strategy when dealing with an adversary.
Get in their head and disrupt their OODA loop.
Putin did the same to Markle when he brought his giant dog to their meeting.
