I’m trying to present both sides of what I believe to be a political game being run by Pam Bondi and Kash Patel.
In this interview with Chris Cuomo, journalist Matt Taibbi says current FBI/DOJ officials are telling him they are trying to get big indictments against key Russiagate conspirators. It sounds like Taibbi and Solomon have the same “top level” sources within the DOJ and FBI. WATCH:
My suspicion, based on listening to Taibbi’s knowledge of Russiagate, is that he’s being intentionally misled (ie. played) by his sources. John Solomon is almost certainly a direct participant the FBI/DOJ narrative engineering for institutional self-interest; however, I do not think Taibbi is.

When Taibbi had direct access to source materials from Musk’s X/Twitter, he did an excellent job of discerning what was going on. So, well and so much so that Musk had to pull him off of the pile. Thankfully, not before Taibbi was able to reveal Jack’s Coffee Shop’s kitchen in neon lights.
Everything I have read by Taibbi screams truth teller to me. All of Solomon’s leads have been dead ends and none of it has been actually enlightening. That said anyone can be deceived. Even Trump.

POTUS Trump has a fondness for misdirection and appearing to waffle on issues. A lesser person would be using these as litmus tests to determine which way the political wind blows. That is not how Trump uses them. He uses them to give himself room on the public stage to move around, to appear unpredictable. If one is completely predictable, then, one’s enemies can more easily thwart one’s goals. IMHO, this is why he says many things coming from multiple points of view on some issues.
So, far, POTUS Trump had ultimately remained true to those goals for which I elected him. Closing the borders, expelling illegals, cleaning up encampments and reducing crime. He has also followed through on all the things necessary to restore sanity to our economy and industries and improve our international standing. It’s best to wait and see what the outcome is before pre-judging or jumping the gun. I like so many others am weary of the lack of prosecutions for many political crimes. We do not know the limits he is working with, we do not have full knowledge of the implications.

In my small part of the world there have been two big deals/contracts abandoned due to the interest rate still too high.
Think of America as a whole and how many deals/contracts/business lost due to Powell and his playing politics with Americans.

Reappointing Yellen would be a step backward towards European control of the Fed Reserve. If Trump does that, I am off the Trump train. Powell is doing a good enough job. Yes, he is slow to cut, yes, he is owned by the banksters and is partisan. Yellen is even more partisan. All the chair possibilities have to be people approved by the banksters as represented by the current ones on the Fed committee. Trump does not have full rein here, he selects from a set of choices approved by this committee.
Plus, Trump’s antagonism against Powell may be mostly political theater. He will play similar roles with whomever replaces Powell.

Why would Bondi and Patel want to “play games”. Bondi doesn’t come from the DC insider crowd. She is not Barr, and Patel is not Comey or Wray.
As for Trump’s saying that he hopes Bondi does this or that, could be interpreted as distancing, to avoid it looking like political retaliation. As for the information drip, well people are not satisfied and tending to think the worst when they don’t get information — looks like a damned if you do, damned if you don’t kind of situation.
Also, there supposedly is a Strike Force. That’s anonymous lawyers and investigators from multiple agencies, and firewalled off. Disclosing what they are doing before indictments would be inappropriate for prosecutors.

Not sure I agree with that. The problem is distilling it down. Cuomo does a decent job “playing dumb” largely because he is dumb. That forced Taibi to try and sharpen and simplify. But once you do that, you generalize, and once you generalize, you give the coup an out.

In fact this release of information actually helps the democrats purge the old guard from the party, especially those who are having trouble letting go.
