I don’t think it’s a bad look. If you keep coming out with figures and then later have to adjust them downward by a lot, you look incompetent, but I digress, she’s a government worker. This also happened under the biden admin. An adjustment of a few percent, like up to 10 at the outside might be considered reasonable, but not the vast revisions we have seen.
If you have been following the government’s initial monthly economic reports versus the subsequent revisions to that report that are announced the following month and sometimes also at the end of a second month, you have noticed a strange pattern (well, not really strange considering it’s from anti-Trump deep state sources).
When a Democrat is in the White House, the employment and productivity reports are almost always revIsed to WORSE numbers a month later. But while PDJT has been in office (first term and now) the numbers are almost always revised a month later to BETTER numbers than initially reported.
So “government worker” is no excuse when it became obvious that the stats are coming from people who don’t like President Trump’s policies and tried to make him look bad while trying to make their guy (Democrat Presidents Obama and Biden) look good.
But then they have to admit the truth a month later and submit revisions….
Agree and some of these revisions are crazy. They are no where near the numbers that were initially reported. It’s either political jiggering or blatant incompetence. I suspect that both are at play.

The US in the 1950s was like Sweden or Japan where you could park your bicycle unlocked in public and expect to see it after school or work. If it was knocked down some unknown stranger would set back upright for you. Nowadays, it would be stolen in 15 minutes and if the thief got caught he would accuse you of racism.
This country was founded on the understanding that government is a low trust institution. The left bought the trust of millions over decades to reverse this block against government overreach and abuse.
Low trust society is better. Just not a disarmed low trust society.

They changed the definition of unemployment and I am not sure what all else they changed the definition. The numbers were always good and revised downward. They made no sense. We out Chinesed the numbers and made China look good. The only mistake made was who failed to fire the people involved ON DAY ONE. Shows you how bad the government is. Pretty sure a judge will order a temporary restraining order. If they are stupid enough to do this, it will open the gates to justify a complete investigation of the BLS.
BLS has been used by both sides to try and influence polls and elections. Its time to stop this and put out real numbers only. President Trump is exactly right, our people deserve the raw truth. Good or bad.

I read Zero Hedge and its been a longstanding joke there about how the Labor Statistics numbers are always “adjusted after – – – (fill in the blanks).” For what reason? Not a one has been able to figure out what the logical basis of these numbers are.
There is definitely a strong ‘possibility’ (snark) that the answer to how many jobs exist on Planet USA is BLOWING IN THE WIND. Anyway the wind blows is not an acceptable analysis from a person paid a 6 figure salary.
