Remember, in the last 20+ years, no American official has spent more face-to-face time with Vladimir Putin than U.S. Special Envoy, Steve Witkoff. On behalf of President Trump Witkoff has held multiple meetings and discussions with Russian President Vladimir Putin lasting more than 4 and 5 hours at a time. U.S. Ambassador Lynne Tracy was not present.
Do not forget, nor overlook this baseline fact.

The departure of a career diplomat appointed under the administration of former president Joe Biden comes as Russia and the United States discuss a potential reset in their ties which sharply deteriorated after Moscow launched its full-scale war in Ukraine in 2022.

I believe this is a man who wanted to be a women. Observe the scar on their necks? It is the result of adams apple reduction surgery to conceal the size. After I read about these surgeries, I always look, if possible, at the neck, and many have this scar.

A real Plain Jane, as my Mom used to say. Not a very healthy individual. Would love to take the time to do a Wikipedia discovery. Not sure it’s a former male as the jawline is sort of soft, receding even. Not sure what would motivate an individual who looks like that to “trans” themselves into the opposite sex. But then I think of Rear Admiral Rachel!
Plain Jane girls usually look feminine and even pretty in their own way.
Lots of beta males are near chinless and/or do not have a pronounced jawline.

Just checked out the Wikipedia bio on Lynne. What looks like a passport photo, straight on shot, does her no favors. She’s just not a pretty woman. I do say “woman” because another, less stiff photo with then-Secretary of State Blinken, shows her to be a short, well-padded female, not the threatening-looking, towering, wide-shouldered Mary McCord or Michelle Obama. Lynne also speaks Russian. No husband or children in the Wiki entry, but long list of her duties in various unglamorous Asian regions thru the years. Not sure what she’ll do now.

Then maybe it is a thyroid issue. Low thyroid causes the eyebrows to thin dramatically, especially the outer edges, pretty much to invisibility.
Luckily I have a former cosmetologist as a friend (and a solid MAGA friend to boot, one of the few where I live). She showed me years ago how to use the pencil creatively so it looks as close to nature as possible.
Read “Descent Into Hell” a 1937 novel by Charles Williams ( one of the Inklings, along with CS Lewis, and Tolkien among others). He presciently anticipates the modern “gender” obsession, and compellingly portrays the horrifying result in an individual case. (It’s pre-war British, so not overtly salacious. There’s no surgery, just a mutilated soul.) There’s redemption in it as well for other characters. A genuine masterpiece.
It’s truly great literature, merging the mundane world with underlying spiritual realities. It made a lasting impression on me last time I read it, due mainly to increased awareness (no accident) of this issue. Williams has other great novels along these lines, skillfully blending natural and supernatural worlds which such writers as Rod Serling tried, with limited success to imitate.
I have never heard any mention of her or anything she’s done of significance as US Ambassador to Russia…she certainly hasn’t played any role in ending the Russian aggression against Ukraine. No wonder Putin doesn’t take the US seriously.
We send a state department careerist whose last job was Ambassador to Armenia to Russia? a major power? Makes no sense, other than to say to Russia ‘you don’t count even if you did just start a war’

Looked at her wiki bio. No personal life or history, allegedly born in Ohio. Nothing about parents, siblings early life, etc. Only info is about various central Asia postings, no life outside of government service.

Related to this is the question of whether Trump is delaying all critical business such as appointing judges until the BBB is passed?
Is this a way to keep the so-called conservatives in line?
Same for any Republicans with interest in foreign policy (e.g., ambassadorships, trade, etc.).
Chances are more than one thing is delayed until then.
I would guess he also wants as much positivity as possible for the 250th anniversary celebration.
But as the USA moves past that milestone, I hope much more is put in motion to save Lady Liberty for the future.
The President needs the money asap in order to move things forward at his speed. Once passed, expect lots of good things happen at warp(his) speed.
