The New York Times are claiming the team around El Salvador President Nayib Bukele set up the photo-op with margaritas in order to embarrass Maryland Senator Van Hollen. Even if they did, it’s still funny.

The New York Times might be right that some Bukele aide put those margaritas on the table to embarrass Van Hollen. But do they want us to believe that any politician in DC wouldn’t immediately know what a margarita is? Van Hollen had to have immediately recognized the drinks and yet didn’t tell the aide to take them away. He might have thought, “how considerate of them!” No, the margaritas on the table are Van Hollen’s to own as if he had requested them himself.
It appears the influence of these insufferable virtue signaling poses of peak Public Relations Boomer era such as the recent Blue Origin fiasco and the poor brown murderer fiasco in El Salvador are almost at an end. Combined with the recent poor black murderer fiasco of Karmelo Anthony which comes complete with yet another grifting, violent charlatan of a black preacher, named Dominique Alexander whose rap sheet only MLK could love, the entire edifice of the late 1960s Boomer era is crumbling. Once the Civil Rights moral supremacy is gone what do Boomers have to rely upon to show their generation wasn’t a complete eff up?
