did not go unnoticed, and were not appreciated.
The secular try to erase Easter. Every store carry “Easter”goods, yet looking around how many of these “Easter” goods explicitly have the label “Easter” on them?. Just “eggs” “egg-coloring kits and the best they have have the “E” word with “rabbit” – with most “chocolate” rabbit? I boycott stores that do not carry Easter goods. The war on Christmas; and now erasure of Easter – common to both is nothing more than perverse discrimination of people who want to make money on Christian holidays and traditions; yet omitting acknowledegment of Christian holidays and traditions. Ask them why there isn’t connection to of products to their holidays and why If they’re not “Easter rabbits,” why aren’t they on the shelf for Halloween distribution? If they’re not “Easter egg” coloring kits, why aren’t they available for purchase year round? After all, at $5+/dozen, why wouldn’t they want to make those eggs special every day?
Compare that to the last month, when politicians and Christian clergymen tripped over each other to wish everybody a “Happy Ramadan!” They didn’t say “Happy You Know That No-Eating Month!” It was allowed its name. So why must Christian names stay in the closet? Same for the aisles (small usually) get the anti-Semite “boycott and divestment” crowd – matzahs get to call themselves “Passover” products. If before this Sunday these stores get boycotted since Easter is a lucrative candy market.
Here’s where we have to support this bill to designate Easter as a civil holiday introduced by Missouri Republican Senator Eric Schmitt – the “Easter Monday Holiday Act.” S.1426.
Make Easter a holiday – how many will welcome this? To be expected will be hullabaloos raised in the name of “establishment of religion”. Given the number of public officials celebrating all sorts of events, from Ramadan to Nepali New Year, is it unjustified for Christians — still the majority of Americans — to have their own footprint on what the larger culture takes note of? Or are we supposed to honor everything except what most Americans at least nominallyclaim to be their own?

The command to follow Christ is the definitive proclamation of Christ’s goodness. Thus, by the very standard Jesus is exhorting the young ruler to adopt, Jesus is good. And it necessarily follows that if Jesus is indeed good by this standard, Jesus is implicitly declaring His deity.
Thus, Jesus’ question to the man is designed not to deny His deity, but rather to draw the man to recognize Christ’s divine identity.

I’d like to know who recommended her as well. First, the Bible states that women should remain silent in the church. How about somebody like John McArthur – a true Christian? Major mistake in trashing Paula if you have any respect for President DJT and the man that he is today. Paula was the pastor back in the early 2000 – 2004 (?) era that DJT reached out to when he wanted to get right with God and help with his spiritual life and stop messing around with other women.
DJT considers Paula as his Pastor since early 2000s. That is why she prayed at His first inauguration and can be seen with him when he has events like this where DJT seeks spiritual guidance.

I do so remember that in 2021 when Biden was installed, Franklin Graham actually put out a statement saying Trump will not be able to run again because he will be too unhealthy. I had given to him in the past, but after he made that ignorant and negative, hateful comment, I saw the kind of man he is. Very positive spiritual message, eh? He sounded like Liz Cheney who also said Trump was just a passing fad. I knew then they never liked Trump. Then Trump just gets chummy with Graham again. Trump looked tired and he sounded weak in that Easter program.

But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached.
And because of this I rejoice.
I simply think that this is a delightful thing for him to choose to do.
Even if you are not deeply religious, there is a cultural aspect to these celebrations which should not be trivialized; it should be respected and nurtured. It is a somber but beautiful thing. Respect it. And, if you choose, practice it.
These opening words are true: “There has been a spiritual drought in this city … and in this [White] house.” Real life actually does have depth. And with it, beauty. We starve ourselves if we forget that.
This time of year, I often reflect upon this: “And you have denied me thrice.” It is wrong to deny this aspect of our lives, no matter what we may personally “believe.”

You assume they never repented and never went to confession. The Sacramental Seal of Confession is inviolable. You mentioned their “sins” – “unbiblical” lifestyle. Instance after instance, what the Pharisees had issues with and were scandalized – the “tax collectors and sinners; Jesus sat with and even ate with them at table. The quoted verse “Those who are well have no need of a physician. but those who are sick” in Matthew 9, Mark 2 and Luke 5, wherein Jesus (emphasizes) that He came to help those who recognize their need for healing or redemption, rather than those who believe they are already whole or righteous.
God never pretend that the people He uses are perfect. Above all, those Jesus Himself chose as His 12 Apostles were uneducated and definitely imperfect even as they followed Him. Can you imagine being told by the Son of God that you are going to deny Him, not once, but three times and then have that recorded in the most read book of all time? Recorded, not just once, but in all four gospels. “Peter. Oh. Peter”
Luke 22:31-34
The same Peter Jesus appointed to be at the head of His Church. Reading the Bible, there are many instances of how the Apostles did not pass muster many times but Jesus taught them, even rebuked them. He came to save those who need redemption.
He even told Peter In Luke vs 31-34, 49-62, of the unfolding of this amazing statement from Jesus to Simon Peter. Peter later on became a leading Apostle of Jesus Christ in the early church and also wrote the two epistles of Peter in the New Testament. The full statement that Jesus spoke that day to Peter was: And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren”
Note: Jesus says “When you have returned to me”. That brings so much spiritual revelations what Jesus meant by mentioning “return” .. from what?
Bible puts it this way: “Simon, stay on your toes. Satan has tried his best to separate all of you from Me, like chaff from wheat. Simon, I’ve prayed for you in particular that you not give in or give out. When you have come through the time of testing, turn to your companions and give them a fresh start.”
The first thing that strikes most Christians was the audacity of Satan to boldly ask Jesus if he could have Simon Peter! This, of course, happened in a way that Peter was completely unaware of the battle for his soul. If Jesus had not revealed it to him, he may never have known of that contending which goes on for our lives in the unseen spirit realm. The question I ask is: “Why would Satan so seek to wreck Peter’s life?” Was it because he had some fore-knowledge of the danger Peter would later become to Satan’s kingdom? Or was he trying to discredit the saving power and ability of Jesus? Whatever, Jesus was able to give Satan a certain ability to go after Simon Peter ~ like what happened to Job in the Old Testament ~ he could test him, but not destroy him. And now, Christians have the Holy Spirit, Third Person of God with us in our spiritual battles which are many, and on occasions we can get caught off guard. Jesus lovingly invite us to “return to me”

Holy Week of all times is not the time to whine about the sins of our human clergy.
This is a time to remember that God the Son-Jesus Christ-came to earth to complete the eternal plan of God the Father for the salvation of mankind.
Jesus Christ was born in a manger, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, preaching and teaching about the Kingdom of God and the path to salvation.
In the fullness of time, Jesus was betrayed, arrested, and prosecuted/convicted in a rigged trial.
Jesus had committed no crimes, yet he was sentenced to death on the cross.
After Jesus died he was buried in a tomb. On the third day God raised Jesus from the dead in the glorious triumph over sin and death.
HE IS RISEN!
Let us celebrate Christ’s glorious resurrection and give praise and thanks to Father God for His boundless love, mercy and holiness.

Praise be to God the Father that He loves you and me so much that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for our sins.

Jesus pointed out many times those who gave themselves an inflation of their seating at the table/their standing as being righteous so they can laud it over other people.
There’s much difference between doing that and correcting errant fellows – difference between day and night – and Jesus was also clear as to how far to go on that. When is it ever a good time to whine about others’ sins?

This Easter Service at the White House is being viewed by millions-perhaps billions-of people across our nation and around the world. The holy name of Jesus Christ, and the truth of His death and resurrection, are being proclaimed to all nations through the divinely inspired efforts of President Trump and the faith leaders at this dinner.
Who knows how many individuals around the globe will give their lives to Jesus Christ and accept His glorious gift of eternal salvation? God certainly knows.
Romans 10:8-13 says:
