Actually there are five levels of understanding –
1. the most basic literal meaning.
2. departs from the literal meaning in search of hints and allusions.
3.includes moralistic homilies.
4.involves esoteric (mystical) interpretations.
5.the secret of secrets, is the innermost meaning.
Unfortunately once a translation is made, it is impossible to access 4 and 5, perhaps even 3. That been said, it is only in the the last 50 or so years that limited access has been allowed to the public, as our institutions across all three monotheistic religions had deemed it too “dangerous” for the majority. However one can search/find almost anything on the interne today. Personally, I agree with the “authorities” – one can very easily “lose your mind” if not sufficiently ready to receive. I’m more than happy to live with the simple faith, although a little deeper understanding does clarify.

Had my cataract surgery on Thursday and did a followup appointment earlier today. My doc says my final eye surgery (both eyes are now done) was successful. Just now fired up my computer . . . WOW. . . what a difference! For the first time in literally years I can sit back in my chair and easily read the fonts on my screen. Before I had to sit quite close, squint, and decipher fuzzy fonts. Big change. Thanks for asking, love.

Totally missed Cursday – Lloyd took a tumble outside on Wed night and a much worse fall on our tile floor at 3am yesterday. Yikes!
We’re very grateful that it’s not worse, but, he still looks like he was hit by a freight train – and feels like it!
Anyway, in honor of dear Honey of trucker fame, I wanted to introduce – Einstein.
He and his sister, Madam came to live with us 35 years ago. He was Our truck dog. We would leave our old beat up truck windows open so he could jump in, sit in the driver’s seat and celebrate!

Sorry, to hear about Lloyd’s fall. My at-a-distance-guess is that he (like yo) has a balance problem. My down-the-street friend and neighbor is also a gerontologist. She explained to me that I had a balance problem I didn’t fully recognize—I’d had several bad falls. Physical therapy really helped.

I gave in to temptation and bought a small cherry tomato plant, and planted it, knowing full well that people here shouldn’t plant until after April 16 Tax Day.
But I got excited in the warm weather and decided to gamble with my $5 and buy a Baby Tomato plant.

Good morning Rah. Thank you for the update. I live in North Texas and storm and tornado season is again upon us. It has been pouring here since very early morning and will continue all day. Have a blessed weekend.
All wall shelf rails are up. New tool cabinet and box assembled. All pieces of leftover OSB put up into the attic to make floor space up there. Fire pit burned off and most of the cardboard boxes and sheets, and scrap wood burned.
Today I sweep up, put shelves up and put the stuff on them where we want them. Then I can start on the assembly of the new work bench.
I highly recommend casters on the bench, never know when you have the odd piece that requires max flexibility of position.

“Four thousand fed by a miracle. (1-10) Christ cautions against the Pharisees and Herodians. (11-21) A blind man healed. (22-26) Peter’s testimony to Christ. (27-33) Christ must be followed. (34-38)1-10 Our Lord Jesus encouraged the meanest to come to him for life and grace. Christ knows and considers our frames. May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
