In the Old Testament God allowed the Israelites to be taken into bondage by her enemies when they repeatedly turned away and rejected God. They were in captivity for generations until they cried out to God again for mercy. God always had mercy on them and rescued them. Each time this cycle repeated it was because a leader rose up, implored the people to return to their God.
This is what is happening in Europe, and was happening here in the US until Trump rose up. Being taken into captivity does not always happen by a disciplined violent military invasion. Sometimes it occurs when the people simply surrender preemptively to their enemies. The weapon is deception.
