Not word salad. The word she used was “inflection.” She refers to departures from what she considers the normal or straight course. Listen again with that definition, and what she said makes a lot of sense from her nefarious view point. She knows exactly what she means, and she’s saying it too.

She (and others these days) take that idea and apply it to politics in that a political point of inflection represents a change of political direction that, for them, marks a departure of what is considered the normal for her and her kind. BTW, I agree with you that honest reflection is probably not something she and her kind would do, for exactly the reason you state.

The primary problem democrats have is Americans don’t want their policies. Their policies, the policies of the globalist New World Order people, are wokeness, Marxist, CRT, trans madness, hate white people especially heterosexual men and women, hatred of Jews and Israel, promotion of radicalized Muslims and denial about Muslim terrorism.
Who wants these policies? Only the extremely woke and indoctrinated. Unfortunately there is a generation of university trained students who have been indoctrinated into these ideologies. I am not sure what can be done for them. Ever.
The rest of America doesn’t want these policies.
So democrats tried branding Trump and now Musk as right wing radicals, billionaires just out for themselves, and they tried lawfare to prevent Trump from running and then from winning. And they have tried ballot fraud as well.
But all their efforts only made popular support for Trump stronger!
So what do they have left? Character assassination. But all their attempts at character assassination have left them looking sour and angry as in the SOTU. Their hostile presence alone lost many democrat voters.
So if lawfare didn’t work, and character assassination doesn’t work, what do they have left?
They are simply left with lying. They lie about Trump, and say black is white and white is black. They lie about themselves, claiming they are the virtuous ones. They lie about everything, Ukraine, Trump’s policies, etc.
That is all they have left: character attacks which they know are futile and lies to cover up their role in theft of American taxpayer dollars, trillions of them.
But we also have a broken Congress. Congress is no longer a representative body. Congress represents the globalists. We the People have no voice anymore, except in Trump and in some of his appointees.
When you consider how many uniparty members of Congress have been involved in making multimillions of dollars at taxpayer expense from NGOs, we realize the incentives are totally perverse.
When you dangle multimillion dollars for winning an election to Congress, you are not selecting for integrity, you are selecting for those willing to get rich by undermining the taxpayers and undermining the entire country.
There must be an end to NGO kickbacks and MIC kickbacks, but who is going to put an end to it? Not the members of Congress who have been made rich by it and plan to continue to get richer by it.
This is a parasitic class of people: both the globalists and their puppets in Congress are a parasite on the American taxpayer.
I am not sure how we solve this problem. We no longer have a representational republic. Our Constitution is being trashed even by the Supreme Court! Every part of our government is broken.
There is only one bright side to all of this: Trump, Musk, and some of Trump’s appointees are speaking the truth openly to the American people every day. The truth is hard. It can be painful. But it is a starting point for problem solving. We the People need to think together how to solve the problem of our broken government.
