How wonderful would it be, RR, if in addition to the other constitutional qualifications for anyone running for president we could add that the candidate must have had to run a business in the real world, the every day world so sneered at by those whom we normally find who run and have no clue about what it’s like to make payroll.

Yea verily. Kind of wish I had not had an in person discussion with this whole event recently with my sister in person. Kind of frightening to learn that she does wholeheartedly agrees with the who insurrection scenario. I think her neighbors heard our full throated discussion as her windows were open. I think we sent hair on fire for anyone listening.
The whole discussion brought us closer together more than ever. The next morning during coffee, my sister laughed out loud in a healing sort of statement,” it’s all Trump’s fault”. I commented some time ago about hoping he would govern exactly like this. The left never hesitated to rule with all of the power they had, and stole whatever power they needed to enact their agenda.
Obama and Obama’s handlers with Biden both acted, never cared about what anyone thought and ignored the media who often covered for them anyway.
I had hoped Trump would govern boldly, with speed and act so fast it never gives the enemy time to counter attack.
He has done far more than I believed possible.
Not sure about other US government employees, but I had to take an Oath, when I was hired, Day One, to solemnly swear to “to protect and defend against U.S. taxpayer dollar’s against “Fraud, Waste, and Abuse.” But that was a requirement to solemnly swear such an oath. Don’t remember if I had to put a hand on a Bible. Some of the people who have taken that Oath with me are dear friends to this day. Serving my country in this way was the greatest HONOR ever bestowed upon me in this lifetime. No one died because of an Audit.
The FBI or whoever their contractors were, swarmed through my neighborhood, interviewing my neighbors about what they had observed about me. It was truly humiliating for me to have put my long lived neighbors through the interrogatory process.
In retrospect, and with all of the RIF RAF who have security clearances (thankfully many revoked today). I want MOAR.
Every time I listen to President Trump, as in this interview, I get filled with ADRENALIN. What he says causes me to have the feeling that he is going to not only make America Great Again, BUT SANE AGAIN.

I don’t know about the decades younger thing. But I recognize cognitive declination, only because I can observe it in me. Term limits are needed. Watching the antics of Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff, Maxine Waters, never forget Dianne Weinstein, etc make me crazy to think of it.

I’ll never forget that trip my parents took us kids to the Gulf of America. Galveston was overcast and gray, the Gulf of America choppy and silty that week. I read Jonathan Livingston Seagull and listened to way to much Neil Diamond on that trip.
Saw Neil Diamond in concert. Was with my mom and siblings many years ago just after “The Jazz Singer” movie had come out. It was amazing. I believe it was at The Fox Theater in Atlanta. (We’re locals)… 😉

After departing for NOLA it seemed his plane was much lower than usual for that aircraft; he stayed down at 10,000 ft for quite awhile. Then, over the water, descended briefly and circled an object (offshore rig?) then back up to the more normal 24,000 ft. Just seemed strange.
