Confirming earlier reports, Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI) member, Senator James Lankford, appears on Meet the Press to confirm that Tulsi Gabbard’s change in position on FISA-702 now gains his supportive vote. Senator Lankford flat out lies in his response when he says, “702 has nothing to do with American citizens.” That is a lie. The very element “702” only pertains to an American citizen, no one else. Foreign persons do not have constitutional protections, only American citizens do. The FISA-702 statute is specifically designated for Americans who are “inadvertently captured” during foreign intelligence intercepts.

If I were advising Tulsi, I would tell her to tell them whatever they wanted to hear to get confirmed. That is the top priority. Once settled in the position, fine tuning of the policy can be effected.
Can’t Tulsi just do what they do and tell them what they want, then change her mind?
There will be a demand for collateral on her position. What that is, I don’t know, but it won’t be just a car or a house. I assume she has family.
First, I give Senator Lankford has the couragecand integrity to support American citizens, and secondly, to grant an “interview” to media that, IMESHO, have very minimal credibility. Yes, the residents of NC deserve the first serious efforts to restore their lives. IMESHO, the fact that mark warner is the “chairperson” of the SSCI is a major concern, as I have minimal respect for markie. I agree that Gabbard should take a playbook from the Dims and tell them what they want to hear….. and then do what is correct for American citizens.

Congress should support the state of Calicornia and the entire nation by completing the Border Wall, and ensuring legal immigration of properly vetted immigrants. Also, ensure that the residents of NC get the aid that they deserve.

And still most folks don’t know what Mike Rogers (Admiral) exposed about 702b spying early in the Obama adminstration, and just how insidious and un-American this law is and how easily it can be circumvented and abused.
Unfortunately, there are more outrages than hours in the day right now. It’s a sad state of affairs when there are so many vital concerns (CCP infiltration, debt crisis, looming WWIII, loss of freedoms, toxins everyone in our environment, food, and medicine, and the list goes on and on.) but so little effort spent on rooting out the causes and eliminating them.
