I remember when Sundance first posted that Pam Bondi was at least peripherally responsible for the heinous trial of George Zimmerman and said he’d say no more. Thankfully, he posted the link to the Spectator article today. I read it, had my interest piqued with the possibility of garnering the facts of the case.
On Amazon, not my favorite company, but that’s another story, I rented Joel Gilbert’s “The Trayvon Hoax: Unmasking the Witness Fraud that Divided…” Oh my!!! What a travesty of justice with everyone from the local police who didn’t investigate, the the prosecuting District Attorney, to the State’s Attorney General who let the narrative get in front of the facts. If fact, they did not pursue the facts of the case. The Prosecution presented a false and coaxed witness who claimed to be the person Trayvon was talking to just before he was killed.
Everyone involved in this case was lying with the exception of Zimmerman and his Defense Attorney who was denies exculpatory evidence.
Black Lives Matter was birthed out of this case! Hundreds of people have died, cities have burned, Police have been defunded, disrespected, and murdered in their patrol cars because of the continuum of this fraudulent case.
Thankfully Corey was unelected by the people, but for the wrong reasons; she didn’t convict an innocent man, but Pam Bondi is now President Trump’s nominee for Attorney General. She failed as the sitting Attorney General when this case went to trial. Did she know the facts? No, it took Joel Gilbert to uncover them, but what she did know was that George Zimmerman was being framed. Pam Bondi must withdraw!!!
That whole episode was so farcical, so bizarre, it hurts my brain to think about how badly they tried to gaslight us.

It’s odd that no one here has yet (to my knowledge) brought up Pam Bondi’s response to the Kyle Rittenhouse case, especially considering the similarities between that one and the George Zimmerman case. She drew a lot of heat from leftists for her statement on Rittenhouse at the time, but never backed down from it or apologized. When she was announced recently as President Trump’s pick for AG, it was one of the main pieces of information that left-wing news outlets mentioned in their criticisms of her.
When Rittenhouse was first being charged, Bondi said this to Sean Hannity:
“People have to understand out there that it was a war zone. You’ve got a 17-year-old out there trying to protect his state, helping people who had been injured. He had paramedic training from being a lifeguard. He’s taking graffiti off walls and trying to mitigate the chaos out there, and they rush to judgment.
We don’t know everything yet. That video speaks volumes. One’s a prior sex offender, one had other charges, and they’re chasing him down. Now, whether or not he should be charged with any of it—I think it was too soon to charge him.
We don’t even know the ballistics yet because they charged him two days later. And there were bullets flying everywhere; other people were firing. This kid was out there trying to help. Were people killed? Absolutely. But again, we don’t know yet.

I’d recommend watching the video in order to get an idea of her tone, body language, etc, during the statement, since such things can be just as important as the actual words in interpreting a person’s intent.
Now, there are several ways to interpret her verbal defense of Rittenhouse.
Any one of these is possible.
I also find it odd that it is seldom if ever mentioned here just how close and lasting the connection between Trump and Bondi has been thus far. His choice to pick her for the Attorney General position has been treated as a sudden shock, but it is not surprising to anyone who knows just how inseparable Trump and Bondi have been for years.
In 2013, Bondi was under pressure to launce a lawsuit against Trump for allegedly scamming people with his Trump University seminars. However, unlike the New York Attorney General, who filed a lawsuit against Trump University that year, Bondi refused to file one. Some people accused her at the time of taking a bribe or being biased in favor of Trump, as her political committee had received a $25,000 donation from the Donald J Trump Foundation. In 2016, Trump was ordered to pay a fine over the donation, as the IRS found that it violated laws banning political contributions from nonprofit organizations.
Three years later, Bondi publicly endorsed Trump during the 2016 Republican primaries (choosing him over, among others, her own state’s Marco Rubio – who had probably been expecting her to endorse him). She also delivered a speech at the 2016 Republican National Convention, where she vocally supported Trump and his campaign. When people at the RNC crowd chanted “Lock her up!” (referring to Hillary Clinton), Bondi replied, “Lock her up. I love that.” She also became part of Trump’s 2016 transition team.
In 2019, she became part of Trump’s legal team during his first impeachment trial.
In 2020, she repeatedly stated that Trump was the true winner of the election and that there was evidence of election fraud (starting on election night in a press meeting alongside Rudy Giuliani and Lara Trump and continuing on multiple other occasions). Unlike others (such as Jenna Ellis), she has never recanted. She has also consistently criticized Jack Smith and other prosecutors who have gone after Trump, and showed up to support Trump at his New York hush money trial.
Starting in 2021, she became a chairwoman of America First Policy Institute, a think tank created to lay the groundwork of a second Trump term if he were to be re-elected in 2024. She also joined him on the 2024 campaign trail.
In a 2023 Fox News interview, she stated, “The Department of Justice, the prosecutors will be prosecuted, the bad ones. The investigators will be investigated, because the deep state, last term for President Trump, they were hiding in the shadows. But now they have a spotlight on them.”
She is also a close friend of Lara Trump, and is currently advocating for Lara Trump to be Marco Rubio’s Senate replacement.
In short, it appears that she and at least two members of the Trump family (Donald and Lara Trump) are very close and have consistently been so for years. I’m inclined to believe that she was always Trump’s pick for Attorney General, and his initial pick of Matt Gaetz was a strategic head fake.
Trump seems to view her as a die-hard loyalist, and so far, she shows every sign of being one. The question is whether that is genuine, or a long-game ploy to get Trump to trust her so she can betray him. I’m hoping it’s the former…

I confess that my personal knowledge of and interactions with Bondi could be somewhat stale. Trayvon case aside, for many years my opinion of her was that she was distinctly unimpressive intellectually and as a lawyer, but basically expert at aligning herself with men in a power position to elevate her (and also that when she talks she sounds like a sixteen-year-old, although better the last few years.)
So… I suppose that as long as she gets her orders and opinions from Trump amd co. and can delegate work to competent lawyers, or sign onto the ideas and briefs of others as she did a number of times as Atty Gen, she does okay as a spox.

All I hope and am praying for is that “the former” comes true. That as several others have already done, PB has also had a sincere change of heart, knows better now so that she won’t be fooled again and won’t betray President Trump.

I remember Bondi from the Zimmerman Kangaroo Court trial and was shocked when years later I saw her on the Trump train. I was very leery of her, but she seemed sincere in her support for him. I was floored and furious when she was nominated by Trump. I told my husband maybe she’s a changed person, but I don’t really trust her and I’m hoping Trump knows what he’s doing.
Your article brings me some relief about her loyalties to Trump and the truth, and her determination to go after those who are traitors to this country and its people and have unconstitutionally gone after their political enemies (i.e., Trump and his supporters). But, I’m not sure she has what it takes to get the job done. I’m not saying she doesn’t, I just simply don’t know.
Dawn, the President’s gatekeeper is the 2nd most powerful person in the world cause they control what the President sees and who he sees as well as the subject matter. This isn’t much different than what the government of Minnesota did to the police officers who detained George Floyd. Everyone in that government knows that Floyd ingested the fentanyl-laced pills just like he did when detained in 2019 encountered. Those officers got George to the ER in time to save his life. In Floyd’s case, the ambulance was too late in reaching him and then getting him to the ER. If the officers had enough information in Floyd’s rap sheet to find out what happened the previous year, the story might have been different, but as soon as the notion that the officers killed Floyd got loose, no one in government wanted to contradict it. The officers had to be sacrificed despite the fact that feeding the officers to the mobs didn’t do anything to deter their rampages that dominated the news until Don Lemon finally warned that Joe Biden needed the riots to end.
I went down this comments page to the end. That was all I could take. I almost thought I was on a lefty site.
I left some observations in the comments then came back for my ‘opener’.
For a conservative site there sure was a lot of ‘Bondi guilting’, but in true left wing fascist style media, no evidence. Some OLD stuff about Martin & Zimerman, but no evidence against Pam, just accusation & judgement.
In the ‘buried lead; as Bannon might say,there is a HUGE amount tacit mistrust in Mr. T. This is Mr. T’s ‘2nd half’, he’s been here before.
One post that needs a big I SECOND THAT STATEMENT! I do just that.
The comment below by Hardwicke Benthow should give pause to all the Bondi talk. At the very least we should give her a chance. If the only ‘bad’ on Bondi is the Zimmerman thing, I still support her. Hawk’s post gave me a new perspective.
Hawk, be more definitive next time. If Pam IS bad it won’t be any fault but hers. Don’t worry about appeasing anyone, stay strong.
If I heard Pam’s name when the Zimmerman-Martin thing was going on, it would not have registered. I had not heard of her before.
