Following the election of President Donald J Trump, an interesting report surfaces today about Qatar, Hamas (Muslim Brotherhood) and Egypt.
Qatar is asking Hamas leadership to leave the country:
(J Post) – Qatar has reportedly clarified to the terrorist group Hamas, “You are not welcome here,” KAN reported on Friday, citing a source familiar with the matter. This development has reportedly been underway in recent days, three sources told KAN. One source told KAN that this is due to pressure from the US.
According to the report, Qatar had previously explained that Hamas’s leadership in the country was meant to facilitate dialogue during hostage negotiation efforts.
Egyptian sources told the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar that direct talks with senior Hamas officials are ongoing, with recent talks taking place on November 5, the day of the US elections. (Source)

Jordan, Syria and Kuwait will think President Trump is nuts but keep quiet because President Trump might be willing to prove he’s nuts – and eventually everyone will call President Sisi to find out the date for the peace summit.
After lunch, President Trump calls President Putin because that conflict is easier to solve.

Actually there is no political constituency in Israel for allowing Hamas back into Gaza.
What actually is likely to happen is that after King Abdullah of Jordan abdicates, Jordan will become a Republic and will be led by Mudar Zahran, who will invite all Palestinians to live in and have citizenship in Jordan. There will be a zero tolerance policy for Islamic terrorism and for Jew or Christian hatred. The children will be taught to love all other children of the world. Mudar Zahran is currently part of the Opposition party in Jordan, and because the Queen threatened to have him assassinated, he currently resides in Great Britain.
This will solve the Israeli Palestinian conflict. Israel will have authority over all of Judea and Samaria (The so-called West Bank) which Israel needs for security reasons. In addition Israel is in Gaza to stay for the future, given that the people there are all Hamas proponents. Either they work for and with Hamas or they support them. Every home in Gaza has a copy of Mein Kampf or a framed photo of Hitler. First off, on what grounds would Abdullah abdicate, other than being forced out through a CIA-backed color revolution?
Second, the Jordanian people would NEVER accept a regime which came about as a result of a pro-Israeli initiative. They would be about as tolerant of such a regime as the Russians in Crimea are of the Maidan regime in Ukraine.
Third, the Palestinians don’t want to live under Jordanian rule. They made that VERY clear back in the ’70s and ’80s when they were actively resisting Jordan’s efforts to reassert control of the West Bank following its defeat in the Six Day War.
And fourth, any attempt to force the Palestinians out of the West Bank and into Jordan would very quickly escalate into a Third Intifada, or worse. And if the Jordanian government assists Israel in any way, it would spark a civil war.

2. The hostages must be back, dead and alive.
3. No Hamas control in Gaza and those who were involved in 10/7 will all be eliminated or brought to justice.
4. It will take time for the Saudis to join. They consider themselves the leaders of the Sunni world and Israel killing Palestinians in Gaza is a fresh wound in the Muslim world. So yes it will happen but it’s not a matter of days or weeks.
My prediction is that Trump will give Bibi a time frame and say : “Do what you have to do for a number of months, you got my backup. Then after a number of months we shall stop and get into the big peace negotiation table with the Saudis, etc…”.
The Saudis will stall and demand a Palestinian State.
Eventually after enough time has passed they will do it.
One of their demands is a nuclear reactor. So Israel must put an end to the Iranian nuke program to take this off the table. We can’t have a nuclear arm race in the Middle East.

As a layperson American, who doesn’t study the area to develop a narrative for or against one side or the other, I know that it’s not just Israel that is affected by terrorism, but America and other countries, where terrorists are allowed to live as they are, in a world of hate that is perpetuated by early indoctrination.
Of those left in the West Bank, yes, literally or figuratively, I believe ‘Every home in Gaza has a copy of Mein Kampf or a framed photo of Hitler.’ If not because of indoctrinated belief, but because it would be a cause for death by their Hamas overseers if they did not.
It’s clear even to a layperson that the path to peace, even if it veers a bit from the Plan, must be to eliminate indoctrination and hate, while encouraging peace and HOPE.

I’ve tried to stay informed re the IDF’s efforts in Gaza. My perception is that they have been more mindful of civilian presence in Gaza than most aggrieved parties would’ve been as Israel was “aggrieved” on Oc 7.

The Abraham Accords proved peace was overdue in the Middle East but would never happen if the Palestinians remained involved in the negotiations. So instead the real powers in the region (US, Saudis, Israel, Egypt, Emirates) got together and worked out peace deals without consulting the Palestinians. The Palestinians were presented with a fait accompli.
The same thing can happen for Ukraine. The real powers (US, Russia, NATO) can get together and work out a peace proposal but Ukraine (i.e. Zelensky) cannot be present. Zelensky will keep changing the terms and pushing for more, more, more while working the media and western public opinion (just like what the Palestinians always do to derail peace negotiations.)
