Something else to factor in; Republicans invited the Teamster President to speak at the RNC convention. He gave a typical but not insulting speech and was given a polite reception.
The Democrats did not invite him to speak at their convention.

F**k the Teamsters leadership. If they endorse Harris, then the workers should cancel their memberships. No union at all is better than paying dues for one working directly against your best interests. Maybe their shameless democrat ass-kissing will be the final straw that motivates the real workers to leave the union. They can always form a real union later, but why keep paying dues to a pack of crooks who use your money to work against you?
The Union may be looking to rid itself of Heritage Americans of all paint jobs, there are plenty of TPS “Gimmigrants” that need Unionizing out there..

I remember my younger days when there were about 3 “Union halls” surrounding a big Allis-Chalmers plant. Every one had apprentice and journey-man training classes, US flags everywhere, lots of WWII and Korea vets, social events, community events, sponsorships of local sports teams, etc. Everybody felt good about everybody else. Even paperboys carried their credit while they had strikes; no violence! Things changed; violence crept in, management hostilities to workers and management began, retirement money went to Las Vegas, training schools shuttered, social everything stopped, the union halls got ran-down, shuttered and sold.
I still don’t understand what occured in the late 50’s to cause the union movement to get angry at each other and everybody else?
I wonder if most of the job-shipping to Japan, Korea and China was justified by by union issues, but actually something larger and evil.
I thought with the word-salad announcement that the fix was in for Harris.
