Placing “safely” under the chair instead keeps it from accidentally being taken and out of others’ reach, which is important since daytime vodka isn’t easily replaced outside of one’s own environment. Keeping it in that cup with straw also minimizes the smell while seemingly appearing inconsequential to anyone who doesn’t know better. If true, it would be indication of a serious problem…
