This is at least the 6th Dem. State Legislator that has publically announced changing to R party, and like most, this is a woman.

Gentlepeople, please bear in mind that “public opinion polls” are always(!) “fake!” It’s the nature of the beast.
A “public opinion poll” only exists to define public opinion, not to measure it. They speak to the people who simply want to be told where “the rest of the crowd” is going, so that they can blindly follow them. But there is absolutely nothing to tell you that they actually performed any(!) of the “surveying” that they claim to have done. (And of course, there is zero incentive for them to have actually done it.)
This is “crowd psychology” at its baldest. A certain class of people want to believe certain things, and you simply tell them that “it is so.” They do not question you, while they give you lots of money and lavish you with “headlines.” Nice work if you can get it . . .
Before we even get to any intentional or unconscious bias on the part of pollsters, first understand the whole thing is junk science.
The first time polls were used for a National election, we got the iconic photo of Truman holding a headlined newspaper “Dewey WINS!”.
They made excuses for why, and so set the pattern. Truth is, polls are about as accurate as a coin-flip, and when they are wrong, excuses are made, when they are anywhere close to right, they are credited excessively.
But, we have nothing else, and polls play the same t roll in an election, as the announcer does in a horserace.
Tune in to a famous horserace video, and watch it first with the volume off, so you don’t hear the play by play, so to speak; its BORING.
Add in the announcer, calling it out, first term to home stretch, NOW its interesting.
THATS what polls are for, to give the Media something to say, during the long, slow horserace that is a Presidential election.
And then, of coarse ,…

Vote for Don Samuels who has the best chance of beating her. It’s a longshot but absolutely worth a try! Voters do not need to be registered Democrats to vote in that primary.

I am now starting to believe Trump is being sabotaged by his own campaign. He is scheduled to come to Asheville NC this Wednesday. Why? This is deep enemy territory. Last time he was here one of his supporters, an elderly blind man, was shoved by a leftist outside the civic center and she charged him with assault…why is this happening?
I had asked the same question about Montana but someone told me about the Senate race, Tim Sheehy is attempting to unseat Democrat Jon Tester. And sure enough that was the focus of Trump and many of the other speakers.
What races are there in North Carolina? I see the Governor election is occurring this year and it looks like a tight race, polls show the GOP candidate behind. Maybe Trump is trying to bolster that candidate? I don’t think there are any US Senate seats open this year. What about the Representatives?
