This year Nevada voters will be voting to require voter ID in future elections.
As it is now, signature verification requires that if there is any question then ID’s must be produced and double checked by another poll worker and if they do not have a clear consensus then they must call the Voter of Registrar’s office and follow those instructions.
I look forward to reading the text in the ballot explanation. My concern is that we issue driver’s licenses to illegals which say on the front of them “Not to be used for ID”. How many poll workers will ignore this and just let them vote?
Every ID should be inserted into a machine that verifies the authenticity. The Wynn and Encore Hotels have such a machine.
I cannot wait to hear the weeping and gnashing of teeth from the activists/cheaters who claim ID to Vote is racist in a state that requires you to carry ID in a casino, check into the hotels, fly on airplanes to get here, rent cars once you are here, and get state benefits.
I’m 72. A couple years ago they started not only asking to see my drivers license when I purchased alcohol but scanning the back of it. It was getting ridiculous. Then I found that at most self-serv checkouts, the “watcher” would just come over and enter in the ok number without asking to see my license.

Sadly, I understand your position…had a “Christian” realtor when we were buying our first house and trusted him implicitly. Then he “misspoke” regarding the square footage of a house we were looking at when he knew we wanted something that was at least 2000 sq.ft. He had a buddy in his office who was listing a house that he told us was 1972 sq. ft. (this was before everything was available to anyone to look up details online) but AFTER we made an offer we started actually measuring the rooms and the numbers weren’t adding up. Went to the county and found out the house was only 1729 sq ft and both he and his buddy knew it but wanted a quick sale!
When we told him that we could not qualify for the loan, based on the appraisal of the house at its real size, he secretly contacted our loan agent to try to find out how much money we had in the bank which was, of course completely unethical. We got out from under that mess, by the grace of God, and then went with a different realtor who was clearly NOT a Christian (as evidenced by his language) but he did a great job and followed through on everything he said.
Just like Judas Pence – easy to put on the “Christian” mask when someone wants to be trusted but also just as easy to lie, cheat, and steal when money or power are on the line!
I have experienced what you are describing with the “Christian” realtor and also with your non Christian realtor. It has happened so often that red flags are raised immediately when I deal with anyone who professes to being a Christian or born again. I would rather walk away than deal with them.

BTW, some people say they do not blame Pence for his policy of not being alone with female reporters, and point to a policy of Franklin Graham as his model.
There are key differences. Mr. Graham is setting an example for others in his religious organization, that a married man should not be together with a woman other than his wife, without his wife present.
He’s putting the onus on himself, showing how he doesn’t put himself in situations where he may be tempted.
Pence, on the other hand, was in public office, and in public office has an obligation to meet with reporters. If he doesn’t want to meet with female reporters in private, that’s just fine. If he wants to bring his wife along in informal settings, that’s fine as well.
However, Pence wnt beyond that. He would tell female reporters to bring their own chaperone, putting the responsibility on her, as if she were the problem, which he had no right to do.
People who make public displays of piety in office are hiding something, IMO.
Rule of thumb: Never trust a person who doesn’t love animals or who tells you they are Christian. A real Christian doesn’t feel the need to keep telling everyone.
Pence was an elected official. His wife was not. She had no business going to work with him, sitting in with reporters, or whoever.
As a public official, Pence was discriminating against women by demanding a third party in meetings with a woman. His self-imposed moral boundaries would eliminate even interviewing a woman for any position he would likely be alone with them.

Boeing’s Starliner space exploration vehicle experienced helium leaks and reaction control system malfunctions in June, which stranded two NASA astronauts on the International Space Station. Crooks signed in for target practice 20 times within the first four months of his membership, the documents showed, and averaged three to six practices per month this year.
In total, Crooks signed in at the range 43 times.
Grassley’s office described Crooks’ visits as “intense preparation in the months prior to his attempted assassination of the former president.”
Crooks spent about 80% of his time at the gun club on rifle practice, according to the records.
Attendance logs show Crooks never brought a guest with him to the range, even when he spent holidays there. He logged time at the range on Valentine’s Day this year, and on Christmas and Halloween last year.
Crooks’ last visit to the gun range was logged at 2:45 p.m. on Friday, July 12 — the day before the rally, where he was fatally shot by a Secret Service sniper.
The Department of Homeland Security also used the range for police training on a day Crooks was not there, records show.
Democrats will have their convention later this month. Conventions are to determine the party’s nominee, yet that has already occurred… or has it? Democrats held a “virtual roll call” and claim this is how they determined their nominee. If that is true, that they have determined their nominee, then why have a convention? Is the “virtual roll call” legally binding? Or is the convention necessary for a legally binding nomination?
If a convention is required then their Ohio problem still exists and Harris’ seizing of Biden’s campaign funds is even more sketchy. If a convention is not required then why have it?
