Tim Pool admits in this interview that he voted for President Obama, became cynical and jaded thereafter, didn’t vote in the 2016 election and finally awakened to the pragmatic value of President Trump in 2020, now calling him “the greatest president of my lifetime.”
Perhaps Mr Pool’s personal political story follows the arc of many self-described young libertarians, I don’t know. Factually, I try to relate to those who didn’t see the fraud that Barack Obama represented, but often I find myself walking away physically and mentally from this expressed political worldview because it seems odd to me. I want to embrace those who are new to a reality of massive political manipulation in the U.S, yet I find myself struggling to understand how so many people just didn’t (or don’t) see it.
In this interview Tim Pool asks President Trump about deportation of illegal aliens, the structure of a new cabinet, how to eliminate the bureaucracy that seems to control the DC machinery, and more. The video is prompted to the segment with President Trump [1:31:00]. WATCH:
.

Pool seems like a smart guy. I just don’t get why he wears the stupid ski cap ALL the time. We know he’s bald. There are pictures out there of him where someone grabbed his head cover. How can such a successful and decent looking guy be THAT self-conscious? Really bizarre.
Apparently he has a problem with processing reality, but eventually he comes around I guess. I just think the insecurity is weird.
I have a bald head. I hated it for the longest times. I started going bald at 18…so I can related. Why? Why would he be that way? Jeez….I wonder….I have heard the bald jokes since that time…I’m 46 now. So for about 18+ years I had to deal with the ridicule.
The irony: now that I’m 46 it’s funny and ironic because I may not have hair but father time has been kind to me otherwise. I’m in excellent shape, I have abs and other muscular definition, and I look better and feel better than 90% of everyone I run into, including 22-year-olds with full heads of hair.
I get his insecurities with his hair…however, as you get older, the better shape you’re in and the more you own your baldness, the finer, the sexier, and the more interesting you become.
I get his stance. He just now needs to own it.
There’s a lot of poor physical specimens out there.
Maybe he is cold and wears the hat to stay warm(er).
Mostly like .. given the environ he works in. Cold triggers headaches and even migraines. Some people are more vulnerable to cold in certain parts of the body and not in others; for various reasons. It is also prudent to take care of physical health while one has it before old age reminds us we should have.
He’s from Chicago. They’re cold-blooded up there. It snows outside and they break out the pool noodles.
I think it’s a trademark/signature kind of thing now. Same with the color black.
Questions for you.
What has smarts got to do with what attire people don? I never heard of ski cap being stupid. You deduce he’s self-conscious because he’s bald. So what if he is. Then you deduce he’s insecure but weirder is it not you assert that he has problem processing reality? What has success and good looks got to do with insecurity? If one is insecure because of baldness, does success and having fame and fortune really helps one pretend? This covers other physical ‘insecurities’ every man and woman face. Does what fame or fortune can buy is what makes a man?
Why don’t you give the man credit for what he contributes to this interview? Did he do a good job for one?
Some of us need more head cover than others in much colder than normal air-con rooms with electronic equipment just as in any media studio all day long. Just so in your elder years you won’t suffer that 24/7 head cold due to the years exposed to cold when younger. Asian mums teach younger folks what elder folks know. Mine would never have said to us “I told you so’ even if she could from the grave for all the reminders she gave us when we did not listen. Now that we are in the old folgies section .. we learn to listen to younger folks who teaches us the dangers of cell phones and internet scams, for one.
It’s a known fact that cold contributes to headaches and Trigeminal Nerve Irritation: When cold air hits the trigeminal nerve, which supplies sensations to the face, mucous membranes, and other head structures, it can cause blood vessels in the brain to constrict, leading to headaches.
Vascular Constriction: Cold weather causes blood vessels to constrict, reducing blood flow to the brain. This decrease in blood flow can lead to headaches, particularly in older adults who may already have compromised blood flow due to age-related changes.Dehydration: Older adults may not feel thirsty as much as younger individuals, leading to dehydration, which can exacerbate headaches caused by cold weather.Changes in Sleep Routine: Older adults may experience changes in their sleep patterns, which can disrupt their body’s natural rhythm and lead to headaches.Dietary Changes: Older adults may seek comfort foods during cold weather, which can contain monosodium glutamate, a common migraine trigger.Barometric Pressure: Changes in barometric pressure, which occur during cold weather, can also contribute to headaches in older adults.Reduced Sunshine: Older adults may not get as much exposure to natural sunlight during the winter months, which can lead to a decrease in vitamin D levels, potentially causing headaches.
I dunno. I’m bald but because I shave my head. I do have a bald spot. I always said “if I get that bald spot from my dad, I’m shaving the whole thing”. So I did. I like it.
I also have thick fast growing hair so shaving it off was kind of a relief anyways. I really hate barber shops and I had to go to them every other week when I was younger because when my hair gets long it isn’t straight. It goes wild.
I think Timmeh’s problem is he doesn’t embrace the bald, and he hasn’t figured out you gotta grow a beard to make it look good.
I have a big long beard and a bald head and it works. Now, he’s part Korean so maybe growing a beard isn’t in his stars. But you can’t wear a beanie all your life man. It’s kinda silly. Worst case scenario, keep that bald head clean shaven and wear those cool guy goggles like Vin Diesel in Pitch Black.
Or, I dunno. Just wear a ballcap like a normal guy. Even my old man wears a ball cap and it works.
Great interview with Trump and a non-traditional, new R type podcaster/influencer – and we’re talking “bald”.
I despair of our chances of survival when the good guys are talking hair lines after watching that thing.Don’t get it. I’ll never get it. Maybe I’m wrong. I don’t think so. But please, let’s have that full on bald discussion because if there is anythinbg we need as a civilization now it is more talk about hats and baldness.
That was a good interview, got right to the heart of what Tim Pool’s audiences wanted to know with his pointed questions and gave President Trump the room to answer them without trying to insert his own (Pool’s) narrative.
Hope President Trump is able to do more of these type of interviews; guess Joe Rogan’s show would be the big one if Mr. Rogan can get over his own TDS.
Tim Pool asked All the Right Questions in a Very Respectful Manner , imo !
Excellent Interview !
I wish it had been longer 😊
I totally agree with what you say about how Tim got right to it. I bet DJT appreciated that as well.
Rogan comes across as loaded all the time. (I am amazed at how well his mind works, and often wonder how much more he might be capable of with a sober mind.) I can’t see DJT having the patience to sit with him for one of those long, rambling interviews.
I have followed Tim Pool since he was a liberal, around 2017, and have grown more impressed as time goes by. He’s building a multi-pronged business – media and culture, and I think even coffee shops. He also puts out fun content. His IRL cast is very much fun to listen to or watch, to get a take on how generations younger than I think about politics and culture. His program was how I got tuned into all things grooming / trafficking, especially in entertainment industry. I don’t watch all the time because I can’t keep up. I always learn something new when I do. He’s a smart guy and seems to be managing for success.
SD: “I want to embrace those who are new to a reality of massive political manipulation in the U.S, yet I find myself struggling to understand how so many people just didn’t (or don’t) see it.”
Embrace me. I was born into a Christian, Republican, WW1, 2, & Korea family so my trip to understanding manipulation comes with great sadness.
Please do not call me ‘brainwashed’ by patriotic holidays, parades, airshows and flags.
I would have had it no other way, at least I know what it felt like to not question the motives of my American leaders and believe America was always on the right side of history. I did not protest. I supported the men returning from VN, still do.
Those days are over, they shielded me from what is now. I’m older and can handle what is coming out to be the truth. Mankind is weak and it is apparent as I see America’s support structures exposed as being corrupted … good gosh even the judiciary and military. (First time decision to Not Vote at all for POTUS was if RDS was candidate. Yuge for me and it felt good.)
I thank DJTrump for shaking the ground, SD for detailing what is being unearthed, you commenters for your experiences, many I can identify with.
My experience almost opposite of yours, I was rebellious because it was cool and I mindlessly went along with what I now see as the Marxist-Communist zeitgeist. Then I experienced logic…from my now husband. And I jumped off of my bandwagons but we were both ignorant of the manipulation. 2020 was the turning point for me. My husband has taken a little longer, and is now understanding everything we thought we had is fake.
But I know exactly why I didn’t see ‘the massive political manipulation’: 2-4 hours commuting every day, 50-60 hour work weeks, and even with no children, there’s precious little time for anything else. Since I stopped working I gave a lot more time, and even so, life demands I manage it carefully.
I pray for courage, and a clear mind. I pray for wisdom. I pray that God’s wisdom permeates the minds and hearts of strong and courageous souls.
Excellent points. I have thought the same about why so many don’t see or know what is going on. Modern life, 2 working parents, many extracurricular activities, family obligations, etc. Etc. Keep many too busy to slow down and think and SEE. The propaganda media certainly doesn’t help either. You have to go searching for the truth, and that takes time, wisdom and discernment. Too many just don’t.
I blame the media. Its mandate is to inform. It is perfectly natural and understandable that one is inclined to accept what they tell you as what is so. However, a very long time ago they realized they could abuse the trust people put in the media if they carefully managed what they put out.
Now the stage is set for a great unveiling; and, man, if that ever happens it could be beyond glorious!
The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
I does not matter why they did not get it before. It doesn’t even really matter, (for the moment) if they still don’t get it and are just cheering for Trump because that’s what everyone else is doing.
We need all the help we can get right now. We need to win.
I understand we need to be wary of some of these people. Many will be like the trolls that say, I support Trump then proceed to undermine him.
That said, there is a benefit of momentum in allowing them to cheer. Just by talking about Trump it gets the word out to those not paying attention that it is okay to support him. More will be one than lost when truth is on your side.
“They” thought obama WAS “different”. “Hope and change” was the slogan, remember? Useful idiots.
He was young and stupid when he voted for obama. I was young and stupid once too, I voted for Bush.
Ditto
Obama was (and is) different — really different; the problem is that he is way different from what most people think.
They see it and they agree with the Obongo ideas! Obongo is not and never has been Libertarian. Obongo has been a heavy drug user homo and is married to a guy!
Libertarians have fallen into the pit of Obongo’s life style, homo drugs open borders and every other wierd idea humans can think up.
I think Tim Pool is losing his hair and the reason for his head warmer. Understand not making fun of bald people, although could tell funny stories from back in the sixties about a cousin who wore a toupee. Back when people were not so sensitive.
Obama is tight with Satan
Fake Pandemic
I find myself struggling to understand how so many people just didn’t, or don’t, or dont want to see it.
I know why President Trump wont/cant say it out loud but that shouldnt stop everybody else from thinking for themselves. Such a massive level of pretending is discouraging.
After reading the whole thread , I just want to say that , by now , maybe Tim Pool wearing his Beanie Cap has become his *signature* and that is why he wears it all the time !
I notice he Always wears Headphones . Maybe the cap helps them be more comfortable .
Maybe he just likes his head to be covered .
Does anyone Really Care what Tim Pool is wearing ?
Does anyone Really Care why ???
Pretending aside, I think the more likely reason is because he simply doesnt like his hairline.
There is No Pretending in my comment , these were Real Reasons I thought while reading some comments disparaging Tim’s cap !
Even If he wears it to Hide the State of the Top of his Head , WHO REALLY CARES ???
Do You ?
Why ???
I found the Excellent Interview to be More Important than whether Tim was wearing a Watch Cap or our President Trump was wearing a Red Tie .. 🤷♀️ just sayin
This.
And BTW, I have heard Tim discuss his beanie – it is his signature. He said he never takes it off. Though he did buy a jacket, slacks and shirt for a recent unexpected visit to MAL a few weeks ago. He didn’t reveal whether or not he took off the beanie.
Thank You , FHPO !
And I Appreciate the info about his visit to MAL !
I didn’t know about that 😊
I was referring to my comment, not yours, when I said pretending aside.
Repeat:
I think the more likely reason is because he simply doesnt like his own hairline.
No, I dont care. But He does.
You gave a bunch of reasons for his beanie but you left out the most obvious and honest one. So I provided it for you. Perhaps when he matures a bit more he will find the courage to just shave it all off like Joe Rogan.
Enjoy The Show
Thank You for Your Feedback , Mass .
And I Apologize that I misconstrued what You said .
Your comments are always interesting to me and I really enjoy the memes You post !
Just sayin , lots of guys (and gals) wear hats all the time , no big deal . Don’t think I’ve ever seen Lainey
Wilson Without a Hat !
I’m certainly Not Looking for a Scrum here 😜
Peace , Love and All That Jazz 🌺
Small minds focus on the wrong thing.
Thank You , IFA 😊
It’s his logo now. You see a caricature and you immediately know it’s him. I think he was doing a show at the convention prior to this interview.
Thank You , Daniel !
I don’t know much of anything about Tim Pool !
I’ve watched him maybe 3 times prior to this interview with President Trump . I just don’t understand what the big deal is about him wearing a watch cap , several people commented on it .
Not what I was looking at 😊
I Appreciate Your Info , Daniel 🇺🇲
I don’t know how bald he is and some partial baldness is very unattractive also does a young guy really want to be bald? My take is he looks in the mirror and thinks he looks better with the cap, so wears it.
He does a great interview. I really liked it.
C.Bensing , Absolutely !
I Liked his Interview Also !
And , Our President Trump Always at the Top of his Game !!!
Bernie Bro Tim Pool still has some symptoms of lingering leftyism. He seems more like he is in for the $$$ than for the truth.
And… someone who listens and is disillusioned with the Democrats will walk away from the plantation having been offered another way.
Where do you think they will go after they escape the Democrat Plantation?
Hopefully Straight to Our President Trump and MAGA 👍🇺🇲💪
I don’t think it matters at all what the person’s appearance looks like although I do understand that folically challenged individuals could feel self conscious. The message always trumps the messenger. You had the opposite example in NYC with Bob D making a fool of himself (or just making sure everyone knew he was one!) and it didn’t matter that he had many acting accomplishments to his name. This performance destroyed the little respect half the country may have had for him.
Really? Young talented smart entrepreneur snags an interview with DJT, executes it brilliantly, and half the comments are about his beanie? SMDH.
Timcast and TimcastIRL are terrific offerings on politics and culture. Thought provoking, edgy, and fresh. Different views regularly discussed. Younger generation. Some nonsense, but mostly good.
That said, I see very little out there that comes close to the deep dives and analysis that Sundance offers. This site is a ‘leading indicator’.
It is worth listening to the entire video. The first part is a long interview with Kash Patel.
Rewind the video to 46 minutes. Addresses voter rolls.
Watching Tim evolve has been worthwhile. I can tell he took some ‘boomers’ advise and adopted better speech habits. Let’s pray he returns to the Faith.
I believe it was writer Charles Krauthhammer (RIP) who said – don’t judge Obama by his words, judge him by his actions.
I want to embrace those who are new to a reality of massive political manipulation in the U.S, yet I find myself struggling to understand how so many people just didn’t (or don’t) see it.
I don’t know, I didn’t see it with GWB. Would have gladly voted in McCain or Romney just to spite Obama, but not because they were a better political alternative. So I guess I can understand? Coming around probably more to do with understanding the system is rigged rather than an belief in any one politician or party.
