As per Cohen’s SDNY trial in 2018, Cohen paid Daniels out of the fraudulent $500,000 HELOC loan he took out to cover his failing taxi medallions in New York and Chicago (applied for in December 2015, approved in April 2016).
As that HELOC loan was proven fraudulent, are the funds from it “legal”?

If I recall, it’s almost identical to how they locked up Manafort – I seem to recall he told the bank that a loan was for a certain purpose but used it for something completely different.

Debating Old Joe, particularly on the Clinton News Network, especially sitting, would be a strategic error. Given current polling, DJT doesn’t need to debate. Old Joe will assuredly devolve into shouting, telling new lies, repeating old lies, all the while CNN runs cover for Old Joe. Maybe September, but June makes no sense.
The political calculations done by both sides before agreeing to the debates must have approached Einstein relativity theory proportions. Personally, I don’t think either of the debates will come off. Biden’s handlers will chicken out at some point. These people cannot allow Joe Biden to be eaten by the lion. That’s a far more likely event than the lion being trapped and eaten by the debate moderators.

Trump is not a great debater and will be easily knocked off his stride by Tapper , who will set the agenda.

But he won’t be allowed.
