District Court Judge Mary Kay Holthus was denying probation to a defendant in a battery case, when things in the courtroom became alarmingly violent.
Just as Judge Holthus said she was denying probation and about to impose a sentence, criminal defendant Deobra Redden (30) shouted “f**k that bitch,” leaped over the bench and attacked the judge. WATCH: [LINK HERE]
Due to the race of the defendant, cultural sensitivities, political correctness and the graphic nature of the events, the courtroom video has been restricted by Google in an effort to forestall public awareness. [WATCH HERE]
This is what George Soros prosecutors and misguided judges are turning loose on the streets every day when they do not incarcerate violent offenders. Had this man received yet another probation sentence, the next victim would have been anyone in this defendant’s orbit and not the judge.

De-O-Bra. Is that something Big Mike wears ?
Deobra just a soul who’s intentions are good
Oh Lord, please don’t let him be misunderstood
I dunno, what do the name givers of these children think the future will hold for the child once the child’s awareness begins. Geesh.
Professor Gay will have to “put this into Context” before she can say if this was bad or good.
Every judge now needs the Judge in .44 Magnum.
With frangible ammunition…..courts can be kinda crowded…..
.357 might be a better bet, or .45ACP?
how about a big taser next to her gavel
That’s where the name came from.
.45 ACP makes for a bigger hole. .44 Mag will penetrate metal but again, smaller hole. They don’t call the 1911 .45 Semi a “hand cannon” for nothing! Originally designed for the US Cavalry to Drop a horse at 25 yards. Now of course, if one were to use a .44 Special (non steal jacket) and “dum dum” the bullet, the small entry hole would not make for a problem given the fact that the exit wound would be the size of a cantelope.
The response seemed late and weak , he should have been cuffed and shackled and if not he should have been shot in mid air .
agree. What a stupid court room. And the criminals attorney just stands there like a dufus.
“the criminals attorney just stands there like a dufus.”{
The client just made the attorney’s argument for low/no probation moot.
At least he knows when to stop digging his own grave.
Is there any doubt that any attorney that would represent somebody like him is a dufus?
The image on the sweatshirt is either Nipsy Russell or Sammy Davis Jr…. ……… Did you hear the bailiff say, after the punching stopped, “She’s OK” That was funny….
“Is she OK?”
Not so funny.
In a lot of court videos I’ve watched, the bailiffs are old men, and women, who are useless against violent, entitled, protected-class, repeat criminals like this guy. He expected no-consequence bail again because in the woke “justice” system criminals are victims.
The video doesn’t show the judge getting up. Was she seriously injured??
She was knocked against the wall and hit her head when she went down. Good chance she might have some damage from that. She was unstable when lifted up to stand and had to be supported.
Thanks for the info. Just as an aside……I’m looking forward to our man ‘Deobra’ being introduced to Bubba in jail, and learning some manners.
I think Deobra is Bubba.
Are you serious?
He’ll be celebrated like a hero.
Jail is his home…away from home.
He’ll be showing up in a new set of ankle & wrist bracelets, not to mention an extension of the sentence he already earned up to this point. I’m sure the sheriffs deputies will be giving him some pointers about how to act in court next time or it may be his last appearance anywheres.
what a pity.
this is a tragedy that did not need to occur. Why wasnt he in hand cuffs
“Why wasnt he in hand cuffs”
According to wokeism, that would be ray cist and prejudicial to be seen like that during sentencing.
Why, the judge might think the perp was a threat, and not a victim.
Reference the “Preventing A Carjacking” suggestions. They forgot: “STAY OUT OF DEMOCRAT RUN CITIES!”
I thought all cars locked once the engine is in drive, but you are right, once you get in, lock up.
Sadly, I do that automatically now bc I am paranoid now with all of the illegals mixing in with the criminals
1st. https://realtruck.com/c/exterior-accessories/grille-guards-bull-bars/bull-bars/?gad_source=5
2nd. Gas pedal is on the right. Push it to the floor.
Ummm….with all due respect, the illegals ARE the criminals. They broke the law when they set foot in this country .
Was the gentleman brought back to be arraigned for the beatdown?
And did he get a no-bail/no-jail card because he’s a native marginalized citizen?
Now that the judiciary is getting a taste of the violence everyday citizens face in the real world, there may be some changes? I doubt it. If we need larger jails and more jails, so be it. But make them JAILS not hotels.
The roads are a mess, the neighborhoods are filthy, the hiking trails were washed out on Mt Charleston, etc.
There are no funds to cover these problems and we pay an outrageous amount of taxpayer money to feed, clothe and house these criminals, victims or not.
It’s time to institute prison work gangs again, so these types can truly pay their debt to society.
I would like to take my dog up to the hiking trails again, yea.
And stick that SCOTUS ruling in your pipe and smoke it.
“Deobra” was a goot boy. He a aspiring rapper an baskaball playa.
One time, and I ain’t even lyin’, he was at my keeds grandmutha house and made sho he lef his gat in da car.
Meh, – most judges are corrupt anyway.
Whatevs
Wow. How about English, please?
Dude…He’s just repeating the lingo. As for “Most judges are corrupt anyway” – this is true in SC. I don’t want anyone hurt, but just because you sit on the bench in your friend appointed job doesn’t mean you have the right to talk down to people, criminal or not.
Unfortunately, I am now at the point where I need to know of the judge’s RECORD before I know whether this is a good thing or a bad thing.
Good luck finding that!
Biden’s and Obama’s America.
There’s the reason prisoners USED TO BE held in cuffs and even leg irons, when appearing before the judge for sentencing.
My Goodness…we just hope everyone was vaccinated.
For rabies?
Vaccine still being developed. Will be a heck of a cocktail !
Lord have mercy. I didn’t even think about that ! Most wonderful post yet. 😬
this is horrible and funny
Poor judge.
Criminals are putzes – they they reject God
He should have been handcuffed and shackled while in court. Why did the court officer not even have a club and taser?
Are all you lenient liberal judges paying attention?
Are you asking yourselves, “Who of us is next?”
Please put it in correct context, i. e. “Who be next?” or “is we next?”.
Good judge or bad/evil judge?
Probably not a Soros judge; she was in the process of NOT giving him probation.
She was denying probation to a violent criminal.
that’s in her favor.
The time has long passed that something like this is allowed to happen. In a courtroom with little security there is no need for the judge, for prosecuting attorneys, or for victims who want to speak on their behalf to be in the actual room with the criminal. They should be in a separate room appearing on a big screen hung on the wall in the room the criminal is contained in.
Very logical comment, Soleil.
Would not be surprised to see that adopted.
I have a 24 hour YT “comments” TIME OUT because someone at yt was offended by my comment on this video.
So… how is the judge, does anyone know?? I hope she’s okay — it looked to me like the thug knocked her head HARD into that desk. As for the thug, my guess he will get another hearing and get a slap on the wrist because he was over-stressed with “emotional” and “racial persecution” anxiety.
What a Barbarian! The judges and prosecutors who let him previously walk free are the evil ones. Our justice system has completely imploded, and the blame resides at the top of the DoJ. Watch out! Vigilante justice is on the horizon.
Get this posted on Rumble and link it.
YouTube wants my personal information just to see it.
The security measures in a courtroom are largely at the discretion of the Judge. Some of them don’t want defendants in chains when they are sentenced, thinking that it demeans the integrity of the individual and represents the oppressor as in the days of slavery. What they fail to understand is that people who are being sentenced for violent crimes are often violent people in their hearts. Things like this are the result of that misguided notion that you can be nice to bad people and they won’t hurt you when you tell them “No”.
Deobra is lucky to have been in Clark Cty, NV.
Back in the day in Harris Cty (Houston), after his high jump over the bench, ‘track star’ Deobra would have then ‘tripped’ and fallen down at least 3 flights of jail house stairs, handcuffed, and then met the Sheriff’s angry K9 squad,… just to remind him to maintain his manners in court. This really did use to occur to unlucky detainees in Harris Cty Jail, no kidding.
Like I said,… De-obra was Lucky.
Or he could have gotten the Joe Campos Torres treatment.
The system is eating itself alive. Can’t say I’m not pleased. We don’t have a Democracy nor live under tyrannical rulers, we are a Constitutional Republic with law and order, so if these people do themselves in, OK!
ABC 7 left out ONE very important point about preventing carjackings. “Conceal Carry At All Times.” the incident of carjackings would completely disappear if that became the norm.
As I understand it, open carry in the car because it is considered your personal “domain” or home. Legal in most states.
Why wasn’t he handcuffed and shackled?
Bailiff, call the next defendant…..
lol-FWIW I tried at one time to keep track of these ridiculous attention seeking names given to obamas sons & daughters to no avail…there were just too many
Very handy chart
Years ago I thought it would be amusing to put random syllables in a bag and let chance select AA names. But the next great notion pushed that one out and I let it slip. Your BGNG got me thinking that sounds like a job for AI, for which their is no horizon and the sky is not the limit. There are syllables in all world languages so there is no dearth of syllabic phonemes. The mind boggles and AI says “Hold my beer”. Imagine twenty, fifty, a hundred languages…why do I sense AI sneeringly leering at me? It probably already knows, not just how many languages there are, but also the precise number of syllables that can be generated. And one cannot leave the ebony queens out, who are going to agitate for a BBNG set on literally cosmic extravagance, nomesayn? I wonder if this can be monetized, but fear that the enormous Government subsidies that would be required would be the feather that breaks the camel’s back. I chose a ME draft animal intentionally.
The guy should have followed his dream of being a linebacker. What a leap!
That guy was so fuled by adrenaline that in spite of the fact he was being held by a guard, he was still pummeling the judge, her head banging around.
It’s said she’s in the hospital with some head injuries but going to be fine.
He could have killed her.
Killing her was his intent. He was in absolute predator mode. The way he kept resisting the three men restraining him from getting at her while his movements were ALL towards her lays bare his motivation. Pit Bull on a kitten.
When you see so many judges today use the law rather than enforce it, there is a tendency to think little of them.
Seems like the Judge couldn’t decide on this guy she had doubts about his competency – geez
From the UK daily mail article:
“Judge Mary Kay Holthus took the department 18 bench in January 2019, after more than 27 years of service with the Clark County District Attorney’s Office
‘The court remains committed to a safe and secure courthouse and courtrooms.
‘We are reviewing all our protocols and will do whatever is necessary to protect the judiciary, the public, and our employees.’
Redden has a criminal history involving charges in both Nevada and Texas.
The 30-year-old has faced charges for battery, robbery, assault, injury to property and coercion, records show.
A judge had previously demanded that Redden undergo a competency determination, he was eventually found to be competent in October. ”
That guy should have been locked up for many years – years ago.
