Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

Did you know that Netanyahu is descended from King David on his mothers side and from Levi (the priesthood) on his father’s side? Amazing times we are living in!!
No, I did not know that. Thanks for the information. I have been studying the lineage in the Bible and so that is very interesting to me.

4/5/2023 – Cast Thy Bread Upon The Waters
Ecclesiastes 11:1-6 “Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days. Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth. If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be. He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap. As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all. In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.”
The condition of the world today is still according to the sentence of the curse pronounced by God from the beginning. As has happened to man because of sin, so is all that God put under man’s dominion cursed for our sake. What has happened to the soul of man, is that it now brings forth thorns and thistles to God, and does not yield to the Spirit of God except with sorrow, and toil by the sweat of our face. The man must now bear his punishment of being cast out into the world to fend for himself, while bearing the consequences of his own fallen nature. Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities and powers and the rulers of the darkness of this world, the spirit of rebellion and disobedience and darkness that we by faith walk contrary to.
And all the days of our life are only going to one place, which is to return to the dust from whence we are taken. This was the last word which God spoke to man as he was banished from the Presence of God. The only word of hope for reconciliation and redemption we have, came by hearing the word which God spoke to the serpent, about Christ coming into the world to suffer at the hands of sinners, by which all they who are of the truth shall be set free and saved. So too has it always been the way God ordains for man to be saved, by believing and obeying the word preached.
Cain and Abel heard the word from their parents; and one believed and took for his course in life according to that hope. The other had instead a root bearing poison and bitterness against the LORD; so that having heard the testimony of his parents, what was the truth, when he heard the words of the curse, blessed himself in his heart, saying, “I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart;” and would not hear nor receive correction; but went out and murdered his brother who was better than he. There was a season of peace and quiet, and time for both kinds to grow and mature and produce their respective fruits. Then came the harvest: one was gathered to God, and the other was cursed and driven out to be damned.
“Cast your bread upon the waters, for you shall find it after many days.” Our bread is to do the will of Him who sent us, and to finish His work. As the Father sent Jesus into the world, so has the Lord sent us, to preach the kingdom of God; to preach repentance for the remission of sins, to make disciples of all nations, teaching them to observe to do all that Jesus has commanded us. As it has gone with all of the LORD’s servants who have ever been in the world, so it must also be with us: we will see the results of our work after many days. We know how the saints of the Old Testament all died in faith, not having seen the fulfillment of the promise of Christ coming in the flesh. So too have all His New Testament saints died in faith, not having received the fullness of all their toils and sufferings in the furtherance of His work. The farmer must first labor before partaking of the fruits; and we have entered into the labors of all who have come before us, and also wait with them for the completion of all things.
“Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for you know not what evil shall be upon the earth.” Work for the night is coming, when no man can work! We know not how the spirit causes the bones to grow in the womb of her that is with child; and we know not how the Spirit’s influences cause New Life to grow in men’s heart and soul. The seasons continue as they have since the beginning; both in the nature, and in the spiritual realms. Days and months of peace and quiet for planting and watering and growing, are followed by the changing seasons up to the time of harvest. God makes times for hearing His word, and brings all the usual elements of sun and rain and warmth and light, for it to take root and grow. Then as the plants begin to mature, every one after his kind; the believers grow in grace and in the knowledge of Jesus; while the others are hardened, and commence to cast off all restraint of moral conscience, to persecute the children of God. Then, as all are manifested for what they are, the end comes. As it has continued in an ever repeating cycle from the beginning; so shall it be up to the end of the world: concluding with the final coming to the full of the transgressors, alongside the Gospel being preached to all nations; until Jesus returns.
