In an effort to keep the Daily Open Thread a little more open topic we are going to start a new daily thread for “Presidential Politics”. Please use this thread to post anything relating to the JoeBama Administration and Presidency.
“This is no small thing, to restore a republic after it has fallen into corruption. I have studied history for years and I cannot recall it ever happening. It may be that our task is impossible. Yet, if we do not try then how will we know it can’t be done? And if we do not try, it most certainly won’t be done. The Founders’ Republic, and the larger war for western civilization, will be lost.”
“But I tell you this: We will not go gently into that bloody collectivist good night. Indeed, we will make with our defiance such a sound as ALL history from that day forward will be forced to note, even if they despise us in the writing of it.”
This thread will refresh daily and appear above the Open Discussion Thread.
Whenever the possibility presents, throw sand into the machinery…

Who can file c harges of treason against Milley and Pelosi? Does it have to be Congresss?
Really tough to see Gingrich criticize those heroes that are standing to prevent (rightly so in my opinion) McCarthy from becoming House Speaker. Jordan would be perfect, Scalise would be an improvement. So adios McCarthy, stand strong for the country Getz and company! You have the majority of the American people on your side.
*Gaetz
Have heard Jordan doesn’t want to be Speaker as that would mean he cannot head the Judiciary committee which he seems to be chomping at the bit to get hearings set up and running. Does Scalise want that position? Perhaps Gaetz should run for the Speaker seat.
If they don’t put anyone up then all the sound and fury is worth nothing.
Exactly; more Republican wing uniparty kabuki.
Andy Biggs wanted it I thought. He’s awesome!
Gingrich. Part of the problem, not part of the solution.
ICYMI – FYI – WTF – Trust No One – ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
What a mindless twit!
Don’t watch football but I’m with family. Damar Hamlin of the Buffalo Bills just had a sudden collapse, and they’re doing CPR…
This is really bad. Was a regular tackle. He stood up straight and a second later without taking a step, fell on his back.
Riyaz Manjiyani, PT, DPT says he believes it to be a vasovagal syncope phenomenon where a stressful trigger leads to a sudden drop in HR and BP.

Need an autopsy… period, end of story. Would be very surprised if (at least) the NFL Player’s Association doesn’t demand one.
Yes it was a normal everyday run of the mill tackle, no major head contact. I’m guessing it’s another SADS case, although he had immediate medical attention and might just survive.
Looks like the game is being canceled. Equipment being carted off the field, stands are mostly empty. No official word yet. No status updates on the injured player.
They must already know no pulse for a couple minutes, etc.
TV just said he is in critical condition and the game is postponed.
them electric cars are fussy in cold weather, I reckon
oh – and expensive too
Report: Siblings Charge Tesla 6 Times in 1 Day as Frigid Temperatures Quickly Drain Battery
A brother and sister said they had to stop six times in one day to charge a Tesla they rented for a road trip because the frigid temperature caused the vehicle battery to drain quickly.
Xaviar and Alice Steavenson were curious to see what driving a Tesla would be like, so they rented a model from Hertz in late December to drive from Orlando, Florida, to Wichita, Kansas, Business Insider reported.
The brother claimed to Insider that Hertz advertised on their website that driving a Tesla would always be cheaper than using a gas-powered vehicle. However, as they traveled in the electric-powered vehicle, they quickly discovered this was not the case.
The historic winter weather from late December was causing the vehicle’s battery to drain so fast that they spent more time at charging stations than they spent on the road and were spending more money as a result.
“We ended up having to stop every one to one and a half hours to charge for an hour, then an hour and a half, then two hours,” Xavier told the outlet.
“So beyond the lost time, it also got to the point it was between $25 and $30 to recharge. Just in one day, we stopped six times to charge at that cost,” he added.
So listen… isn’t this why they say you should keep your AA’s in the fridge? Musk should change his marketing.
”Tesla. Great for California.”
… or maybe…
”Tesla. Keep it warm.”
This tweet is such a true sentiment; even though the comments to it are in regard to the football player now in the hospital, it speaks so much to everything these days:
“Maturity, as well as spiritual maturity, is exhibited in the courage to face reality and shed the defense mechanisms we deploy to deflect that which we do not want to know. When our fellow citizens are in danger, this becomes imperative.”
Just watched a Buffalo Bills player drop possibly dead on field. Let’s see them spin this as a hit related incident. Dude had a heart attack. Did cpr for 15 minutes on field.
Heart problems DO go undetected… e.g. Tedy Bruschi’s stroke in 2005… but the timing on this one is naturally suspicious.
It’s not suspicious if
he was tackled hardhe fell to the ground hard while making a tackle right before he collapsed.Yep, but no one on TV commentating will be allowed to go off script and say what they really think happened, or they will be fired. Not just the NFL, but you can bet that the Whitehouse is also telling everyone what they can and cannot say right now about this tragedy. Huge viewership just saw this and will want to know the truth. We’ll see what happens next. I hope and pray this young man lives, but I’m not optimistic.
In the Rasmussen thread I posted links to articles describing two other football tackles which led to the administration of CPR. One of the guys was Lions linebacker Reggie Brown, in 1997 a tackle caused him to suffer a spinal cord injury, CPR was administered on the field. Fortunately he didn’t die but he was paralyzed and his football career was over.
The mass psychosis here is getting seriously scary. Suddenly all injuries and deaths are due to the COVID jab? Do you even know the guy’s jab status?
Are you aware that more people have been infected with COVID than have had the jab? Why is it that none of you blame the virus itself? Why only the jab?
When 100s of coroners post pictures of 8 inch “plastic” clots being pulled from the veins of corpses (who supposedly died from a myriad of causes)—
when they can’t get embalming fluid through the veins because of huge obstructions—
and it is reported by morticians across the country—
well, then, excuse me…
an increasing number of deaths (for all age groups) is pretty damned suspicious!
I find it amusing that you having recently done a deep dive on some of the aspects of COVID, Viruses and Vaccines that you now consider yourself more of an expert than the rest of us.
Some of us however have been deep diving for the last 3 years and also frequent forums where others have also been doing the same.
Even if only 1 in 10 are dying in this way from the vaccines, that is still vastly higher than for any other vaccine ever. Even 50 deaths were enough to cause vaccination programmes to be cancelled in the past .
Can you show us where so many sudden deaths were happening prior to January 2021 please?
Nearly everybody who died from COVID did so in hospital, usually from Renal failure due to Remdesivir or Pnuemonia just like the Flu or overall organ failure or pre-existing conditions. They were not dying on playing fields or in bed or just standing around.
The majority died of COVID because they were not treated correctly with the many re-purposed drugs that were available.
Are you even aware of the 2020 study of the Italian nursing home that saved every single resident and carer after they instituted a medical protocol?
Or the nursing home in the US where they instigated the correct non medical and medical protocols that also saved every single person?
All such medical protocols were demonised and practically banned by Governments all of the g20 countries, but not in the 3rd world countries. Doctors and medics were threatened, censured, attacked in the media and even sacked for not towing the Vaccine only works line.
He’s got the #3 jersey on. Notice how hard he hit the field when making the tackle.
This has never happened in over 100 years of the game. I watched it live. Rewound it and recorded on my phones as well. That same hit is made multiple times PER game. You could be right at the end of the day, but statistics are vastly against you.
When is the last time you saw an nfl game get stopped and shut down? Never? Ok me neither.
The hit was routine. The guy got up and then dropped like a ton of bricks requiring ten plus minutes of violent CPR. I’ve never seen a boxer get cpr after being knocked out cold. I’ve never seen an nfl player need cpr after a hit.
What just happened is so far out of the statistical norm that you’re the one rationalizing.
And I personally know over 25 people ranging ages 17-77 that have either popped up with stage 4 cancer and died in under 11 days of diagnoses, had strokes and become vegetables, have miocsridtis, drop dead of “mysterious” blood diseases, and who have constant fatigue and strange food allergies that have come out of nowhere. This is all true and I’ve personally witnessed it.
I flat out do NOT care what you think, believe, or tell yourself to get through the day. Something is very wrong with these shots. And if it’s not the shots, then the grim reaper is just going around at hyper speed these days. And again, you could be right and this was a fluke and due to a hit. But it won’t change a single thing with the fact I KNOW something is wrong with some of those shots.
Good luck to you.
The coroner will pull a three foot blood clot out of his aorta.
All NFL players are given the clot shot.
Aaron Rogers refused it
Note: not meaning to be an insensitive smart ass. I am deeply troubled by the death and injury to my fellow Americans by the clot shot. I suffered pulmonary embolisms following two covid swab tests. Beware the tests. Same poison. There must be an accounting for the bioweapon covid unleashed on the world and the subsequent clot shots, known to be deadly and covered up.
Sadly— but—- exactly!
Someone wiser than I am needs to post the video of morticians who have come forward with pictures of long clots pulled out veins from the deceased— who died for a “variety” of reasons.
Yet, regardless of what the cause of death is— these clots are being pulled from deceased victims across the country.
Heart attack = blood clots
Cancer = blood clots
Pneumonia = blood clots
Stubbed toe. = blood clots
👿👿👿👿👿👿
Good one!
The FBI can find a guy in Pennsylvania who murdered people in Idaho, but they can’t find a “bomber” who is on video using a cell phone.
STRAIGHT FROM THE RINO’S MOUTH:
“I support Kevin McCarthy, but a small handful of people are holding us hostage.”
“I would work with moderate Democrats to elect a more moderate speaker”
“My point is that if a few won’t be part of the 218 members we need to govern, we’ll then find other ways to get to 218!”

Hey Bacon, it’s RINOs holding the base hostage. Again.
He might as well change parties now.
No sooner do they win a majority than they work to give it away to Democrats.
On Speaker vote if McCarrhy faols…

🚨Breaking News: Bob Good is saying that on the second ballot there will be a different candidate who is not Andy Biggs. I suspect this person is Lee Zeldin.
12:53 PM · Jan 2, 2023
Lee Zeldin is no longer a congressman; and I doubt seriously any sitting congressman will vote for someone not among the current ranks. This is all bad theater.
