Neil Oliver uses his monologue this week to discuss the passing of Queen Elizabeth II and the impact on the United Kingdom. As Oliver outlines in his reflection, “the river of time she bridged is extraordinary.” [Video and Transcript Below]
.
[Transcript] – With Queen Elizabeth II dies the only version of Britain most of us alive today have ever known.
During a reign of 70 years and 214 days – the longest of any British monarch – she had been the most famous and most recognised woman alive. Not just here at home but all around the world she was simply, The Queen.
Her thread is woven into the fabric of the nation. Stamps and coins are the least of it. There is no denying her dying is a moment around which much must and will shift and reshape, becoming permanently altered. This is world history, happening right now.
There is no denying either that for millions of people the queen had been a fixed point, constant and as seemingly permanent a fixture as any statue, or town cross, or church steeple. Like goodness knows how many others around the country, my mum cried at the news.
People need constancy, and fixed points by which to navigate. For countless numbers of people, the queen was that constant in a landscape everchanging.
In 1953, the year of her coronation, the world was an utterly different place. That same year Dwight D. Eishenhower was inaugurated as the 34th President of the USA. There’s been a dozen more American presidents since then. There were just over 2.5 billion people alive in the world in 1953. When she came to the throne, Britain had more than 70 territories overseas. By the end of her life and reign, there were just 16 Commonwealth realms. Joe Stalin died three months before Elizabeth II was crowned. Edmund Hilary and Tenzing Norgay summited Everest for the first time that year, and news of their success was broadcast to the nation on the morning of the coronation.
Francis Crick and James Watson discovered the double helix structure of human DNA in 1953 and Elizabeth II has been coiled through the DNA of Britain ever since.
Her first prime minister was Winston Churchill – a man born in 1874 when Victoria was still on the throne and only 13 years a widow. The river of time and British history she bridged is extraordinary.
Everything that has happened here in Britain, and indeed around the world for a biblical lifetime of three score years and ten, has done so during the reign of Elizabeth II. Her death is a moment of history the like of which, in all honesty, no one will ever see again. In so many ways nothing changes – and yet in other, deeper and fundamental ways her dying changes everything. It is subtle, and also seismic. Her absence alters the landscape like the falling of an oak tree.
After a lifetime of coins with a queen facing right, new ones will feature a king facing left. New passports will be issued in the king’s name. Barristers appointed by the new monarch will be KCs instead of QCs. The national anthem will call upon God to save the king. In criminal court cases, the R denoting the crown will stand for Rex and not Regina. Stamps, medals, insignia on state documents. ER-II on police helmets will change to C-III. It is all in the details, but details matter.
There might be a case for claiming the most memorable monarchs in British history have been two women named Elizabeth.
During her own exceptionally long reign, Elizabeth I did nothing less, you might say, than create the notion of nationhood for England.
She came to Tilbury, on the Thames, on August 9, 1588, to encourage 20,000 soldiers awaiting the arrival of the Spanish Armada. Eyewitnesses described her appearing like a goddess of war – clad all in white, a breastplate over her gown and astride a white horse. She addressed the waiting throng as, ‘My loving people’ and promised “… to live and die among you all; to lay down for my God and for my kingdom, and my people, my honour and my blood, even in the dust.”
She had, she said, the body of a weak and feeble woman, but the heart and stomach of a king.
Now the second of her name has died too, becoming her own part of the history of the world.
Elizabeth II did much, and many times, to give her subjects a sense of unity and union. As recently as this year her platinum jubilee gave many of those in need of togetherness a reason to come together as communities for the first time in long, hard months.
The world is as it was … and yet not. Whoever we are. Whatever our politics – or even our disregard of politics – this changes the fabric of the British landscape.
Perhaps above all else it is simply strange to know that after all these years, a length of time that stretches out of sight for most, The Queen is gone. It is surely right to say she is an icon of duty and devotion to the task, and that we shall not see her like again. So physically small, the space she leaves behind is vast. Now we wait and watch all that must happen next. (link)
That was lovely.
We prepared a meal for the Queen and local dignitaries at Dundee, Scotland. In the Mid Seventies.
After the meal we were introduced to her majesty.
The best part was the dignitaries were on their best behaviour, so all the fine Scotch and French Brandies and Cuban cigars were pillaged and consumed by we serfs 😂😂
Great memories.
Cheers!
How much fun! I can easily imagine all the “serfs” enjoying the finer things of life. What a great memory.
Wow!!! How nice.
Dignitaries…
Dekester, you have led, in some ways at least, a charmed life. G_D Bless You Sir!
I thought Dekester is a woman.
No…definitely not.
I just walk like one..😎
😂😂😂
Oh, You! LOL!
Interesting you would say that…I really have, and several times have been close to screwing it up.
Fortunately a power far greater than me intervened.
TCTH is one more blessing.
Cheers!
Amen, my brother…if we’re honest, so say we all.
Cheers!
That sounds like so much fun.
That is a fabulous memory to have in your life. Thanks for sharing.

👑Queen Elizabeth ll
The monarchy is the glue which holds a fragile Britain together. God bless Neil for this tribute. I have no idea what his personal views of the monarchy are. But he shows himself to be gracious acknowledging her life of service and her passing…and gracious in withholding judgement of the new King who picks up the Queen’s sceptre.
She is an impossible act to follow. Neil, and all of Britain, must pray that King Charles will show extraordinary wisdom in carrying out the duties she did, with same fortitude and tirelessness.
Nicely said Betsy…
Thank you, Ad rem.
Yes……….. , Betsy.
——————————-
Hopefully some of Charles’ past associations
-and some of the rumors and/or speculations made about them-
will either be found to be false; and if not, cease to be true.
Hopefully, King Charles will serve his country, the people and the church
with the honor
which has benn bestowed him.
✝️
Amen.
It could happen.
Never give up hope.
As for the Church, today at the Accession Ceremony, which no one has ever seen but was broadcast as it happened, he swore, as he will on the day of his coronation, to be the Defender of the Faith…Christianity.
And he prayed for the protection of Almighty God as he executes his solemn duties. He will need God’s mercy and grace in assuming the role his mother did, and as she performed with her remarkable, faithful sense of duty and service.
We are in a volatile world now where we face uncertainty, and evil has corrupted so many. In invoking God’s protection and guidance, I am in hopes that He will work those mysterious ways, His wonders to perform. May God truly bless the United Kingdom, and us once again.
Amen
I watched as he swore what he did, Patience. And what I saw…and heard…leads me to believe the enormity and import of the tasks which is taking on has finally, truly hit him. Not that he didn’t understand as he watched and learned from his mother.
But today I saw something in his demeanor that makes me hopeful for his reign. He seemed changed.
If it means his previous associations with the monsters who intend to bring Britain down are irrevocably severed, I will thank God for it.
I hope he doesn’t follow through on his prior initiative of wanting to be “Defender of the Faiths” (plural). Or we can expect a Finsbury Park moofti standing on the cosmati-tiled dais of Westminster Abbey wailing out a “prayer” in arabic that blasphemes Christ while the 2000 elite lefty islamophilic guests in the pews smile stupidly not knowing a single word of arabic or of the koran?
I think it would be great if Queen Consort or Princess Kate reach out to the surviving English girls in the Midlands who were gang-raped by Pakistani jihads. It’s like they will have a photo op reach out session with every other victim group (real or imagined) but this deserving and ignored and unwanted group.
Excellent observation. It is interesting seeing the blinders that some appear to be wearing as to Charles has been for his adult life up til now.
As I said above…and I listened VERY CAREFULLY…he swore to be the Defender of the Faith. One faith only.
I remember so well when long ago he wanted to change the Coronation Oath to include all faiths. I believed then he did not have the power to do that.
And I suspect his mother, the late Queen, and he had some pretty robust discussions about that foolish wish.
In any event, it is moot now. He is older and it seems a good bit wiser now. At least on this most existential issue for the Church of England. Thank Almighty God.
AMEN!
Good.
~ Hope you are correct, my wise friend.
I would imagine that suddenly being King might change past perspectives and allegiances.
~God save the King.
And so say I, Patience. For the sake of a country I love and needs saving itself.
All blessings to you and Ma.🤗🤗
Hear Hear!
Of course anyone can repent and seek Christ’s forgiveness.
But Charles is pretty much a founding member of the new religion of “climate change” so I wonder if he is being just the slightest but disingenuous?
His role now cannot be anything but advisory, and only in private. Parliament is supreme. He is simply from this moment on a figurehead in a constitutional monarchy. And he knows this. In fact he told the whole of Britain in his first address to the nation that he must leave his previous public advocacy on these issues behind.
And that is a saving grace for all who live there.
True but he still has the megaphone and bully pulpit of “royalty.” Look at the coverage given to his leftist son who flew the coop to the US.
We have increasingly seen in recent years woke wannabe masters who make their own rules regardless of past practice or even the law, much less something so old-fashioned as “decorum.”
One need look no further than the walled compound of Hussein Obummer in DC.
Supposedly He (he is also “royalty” after all) is the first ex-president to do that.
He is the acknowledged King of The World Economic Forum — “Ascends to the British Throne”
https://dossier.substack.com/p/the-wef-king-ascends-to-the-british
As such he has LONG been a Great Deal MORE than simply “Advisory” – THOUGH NOT strictly speaking, in a position of the Power of a Ruling Monarchy. None the less, granted by the Pleasure of World Economic Powers, great influence among the GLOBALISTS.
Globalists who all alike are very deeply connected to China.
Here is a “clarifying” article about the issue “Defender of The Faith” regarding both Elizabeth II, and also Charles III:
https://cnsnews.com/article/international/patrick-goodenough/heir-throne-charles-said-he-would-rather-be-defender-faith
But I must say, it didn’t do much to clear it up for me. I have always been able to see the Faith of Queen Elizabeth – but cannot say that of Charles.
But it is good that so many are praying very heartfelt and sincere prayers of Faith for him at this time.
He can have a huge effect on public opinion though, if not policy directly.
I heard that he averred he would be “the Defender Of Faith”, more so than “the Defender of The Faith”.
Sorry, I’ve read so much today, I don’t remember where I saw that. I was just shocked that he would come out with that, TODAY, (was it yesterday?) instead of less publicly, more discretely… later…
I saw that several places and it seemed clear to me he was speaking of Islam. The Queen was a Christian and never spoke ill of other faiths but I can’t imagine her saying something like this. I found it totally un-necessary and it sounded like capitulation. It’s to bad Muslims don’t feel the same about Christians.
It may seem harsh and as an American my opinion is just that an opinion but when I heard of the Queens death, although I was very saddened my first thought after that was now the Brits would have the monarch they deserved.
I’m happy for those Brits who think there is hope Charles will not be a betrayal of what his mother stood for all these years but I don’t see it and that is very sad.
Now if we could just say the same about the clergy.
….. starting at/with/from the top

Louisiana Archdiocese Halts Pension Payments to 5 Pedo-Priests – 971blog (home.blog)
Apostasy is increasing on both side of the pond.
Tradition is what holds it all together. …… Charles is not generally well liked but he has the training. …… The Job will make the Man. …… Few people know History these days. …….. When Queen Victoria died the Prince of Wales was not young and was considered a useless party goer. …… He became a great King who healed the century,s old rift with France just in time for them to fight together as Allies when needed , and held the country together in times of great stress. …… The Constitutional Monarch,s only real Powers are the Tradition that keeps him honest , and the power to call an Election if the National Government fails or acts illegally. …… The Voters then pass Judgement on the Government . ….. Your elected ” Monarch ” , the President , will seldom be neutral if Government fails because the Tradition of doing so has been lost. …….. In Australia the Monarchs powers are held by the Governor General who is officially the Monarchs representative. …… The G.G. is an Australian appointed by a major majority of the Australian Parliament but the Tradition is maintained. ….. Elections have been called at Federal and State level When a Government acted illegally. …… As Winston Churchill said , the system is the worst possible , apart from all other forms of Government , which are even worse.
Interesting turn of phrase—“cease to be true.”
That then raises a question—if any of the “rumors and/or speculations” were true, and if any were criminal, should Charles not be held accountable as would any “commoner?”
And another man who knows the meaning of being “gracious”….
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11198833/Donald-Trump-pays-exceptionally-moving-tribute-extraordinary-Queen-Elizabeth.html
He does, and I’m so glad you posted that link. Thank you!
It’s a rotten, rotten shame he is not representing our country, instead of a creature who needed a cheat sheet to copy from in the Book of Condolence at the British Embassy “his” thoughts, all completely illegible and no doubt insincere. He’s going to the Queen’s funeral. I’ll say no more.
God bless Mr and Mrs Trump. They adored her, and I believe she reciprocated those feelings as well.
we can only hope Biden doesn’t go to the funeral and embarrass the US
I hope the Royals will find a gracious way to keep Biden away from the funeral. They have not forgotten his loud, an long, according to Camilla, expelling of gas. He is an embarrassment.
Sent him to the Westminster Cathedral instead of the Abbey…. see if he notices ……
His mom was a freak. (and I am Irish).
He’s going….a very great pity.
Maybe he will trip again, on the way, and won’t be able to get there, after all.
I mean him no harm… But for the Sake of Elizabeth… It is simply Right that he not be able to be a disturbance.
As and un-elected, illegal president everything he’s doing is an abomination and embarrassment. He truly represents what we have allowed our country to become. We deserve any embarrassment he dishes out by letting him continue to represent us.
Biden didn’t win, we all know it.
Fwiw, methinks that most know that Biden was installed in a fraudulant election, and so his demented antics mainly embarrass DC.
To my recollection, all of his pronouncements re changes of state actors have been statesmanlike and gracious, unlike the Toad.
Hear, hear.
GB, I really do anticipate his being there will not be a good thing. Hoping for the best, if there is such a thing with the man who should not be going anywhere near an occasion such as it will be.
Apologies Betsy, but I’m not following you. Who being where? What man not going anywhere near what occasion?
Biden to the Queen’s funeral. He’s going. He has no business being anywhere near that austere and sorrowful occasion I think GB. I shudder to think of all that can go wrong….oh, and no apologies necessary, my friend.
I should apologize to you, GB…I misread your “hear, hear” to one of my other posts…it’s been a long week…😉
Oh ok. I completely agree with your sentiments on that.
I felt sure you would.
😉
Well said. While salvation and rebirth are available to anyone at any time, given his past beliefs and behavior, I think it more likely he will go through the motions, mouth the necessary commitments and beliefs but not genuinely repent of his former life.
That is something between him and God, and a thing I can’t possibly, in fact wouldn’t dare, comment upon.
Logs in my own eye…
You may have missed by introductory qualifier.
The “judge not lest ye be judged” scripture is routinely used today to try to stop Christians from discerning between good and evil.
2 John 1:7-11 is but one of many Biblical references to our command to continually be discerning as to what or who is evil.
While your comment as to salvation is correct in the sense that is between God and each person, that does not mean we are to ignore a person’s “fruit” (actions/statements) for good or ill.
We shall see if Charles is a “new creation” such that his old ways are “passed away.”
I very much appreciate you commenting on this thing that has wrongly influenced too many Christians into Tolerance of Evil, in this Generation:
Our Nation has been too easily persuaded to lean back, relax and do NOTHING to save ourselves from Total Destruction they like to think is so well wrapped in cotton wool that it excuses the decision to lay down and become a bloody “Red” Carpet for our enemies to trample into the dirt. Without even whimpering over it.
Thank you.
It is sad that so many “patriots” here and elsewhere are either “hiding their light under a bushel” or just don’t believe God is relevant to the evil happening all around the world.
We will never change our current accelerating trajectory toward destruction without the gracious intervention of Almighty God.
We should be about His “business” in the world rather than continuing to doing things on our own.
I agree with you, Betsy, but I am terribly Jaundiced, I am afraid.
I’ve seen nothing to this date that seems to repent of his most dire examples of his opinions in World Matters and Concerns. And I’ve seen No Sign that Elizabeth ever did, either.
I know that has nothing whatever to do with her very very DEEP love for her son.
So I certainly do not mean to cast THAT sort of Aspersion on things between Mother and Son.
But I confess my skepticism of Charles.
Glad to Report that God has often shown me up for His Ability to work as miraculously in other people’s lives as He has done with me, myself!
If He can get some of the Kinks out of my walk, I know he can do that with Charles, as well.
After all, He did it with Saul Called Paul!!!
God is very Amazing that way. And I am most Glad for that!
Cheers Betsy.
All the best to you!
And to you, my Glaswegian/Canadian friend…and all your family and mates😉
👍
I like that he was dressed in formal attire. The late Queen would have likely approved of his message.
Oh yes. Tradition and decorum are not dead, though it seems most would like them to be. I’d expect nothing else from him.
The whole week, no doubt organized for a long time, is an historical event. The end of an incredible Second Elizabethan Age. To be able to watch a new one unfold with all the obsequies and reminiscences of a life well lived is a overwhelming experience.
Charles doesn’t strike me as wise nor tireless.
Nor I…at the moment. circumstances I hope will change him. It does happen.
Spot on. But he will go through the necessary motions.
The climate has changed
England and America are now Fascist States, both with political prisoners and a “security apparatuses” that can not tell the truth..
Pretty much all of the “western” countries of the former British Empire are the same.
This week we too devote a large segment to the passing of this remarkable woman and her mark on history and what comes next. Do we have the rise of the WEF King? We also review specific new covid vaccine data , Global and USA economic news, and the DOJ gestapo moves.

Thanks for the quick summary of your podcast. Just confirms my decision to NOT waste my time on it.
Things are appearing to be permanently altered. We are seeing the fall of Western Civilization and the Age of Reason, and returning full circle to the Dark Ages.
Complete with inquisitions of heretics to be canceled.
George S: As with the Dark Ages, it’s a good time to be a monk. We can preserve knowledge and brew our own ale.
Seems the right time to mention one of my favorite books… “How the Irish Saved Civilization” by Thomas Cahill.
If any Treepers need an encouraging (and fun, IMHO) read, this book surely fits the bill!
Also a perfect time to mention my favorite—the Bible. 😀
We have familiar experience of the phenomenon of what are clearly intolerable circumstances being tolerated if they worsened only gradually.
The enemies of freedom have taken note of the repeated success of the “nudging,” “new normal” or “frog in the pan of water” strategy used on Americans increasingly in recent decades.
The recent and continuing scamdemic with endless shots and boosters is Exhibit A of the success of this strategy.
It definitely APPEARS this way – this is Most CERTAINLY their GOAL and they are fully last stage RABID about it.
However…
(Play: “The Rakes of Mallow”) (It has been coming up from my Guts since 2007, along with an over-riding image in the back roads of my mind of a hurricane that is larger than the Entire USA, all the way to Hawaii, covering a lot of Mexico and Canada as well. Moving in a Strange kind of slow motion, at times, from the time it came onland from the Atlantic, to cover all the USA Entirely.)
GOD Is Most Certainly Moving His Hand. NOW!
And it seems Very Promising that He will Have His Suddenly Moment that will leave The Parting of the Red Sea looking Very Pale compared to This Event of the Harvesting of the Tares, for the express Purpose of Saving the Wheat Harvest from Utter Destruction.
Forsaking All I Trust Him.
Implicitly! Completely!
BTW, have you ever read George Washington’s Vision? regarding the United States. The inspiration for the Painting by Jon McNaughton of the Angel Over America…
We Can Trust the LORD – for The Price of us has Already been Paid in Full, Completely!
Will we pick up our tickets and board His Train?
Or sit on the rooftop turning down His Every Opportunity to be rescued from the Flood, until we are washed away.
He s a river of stupidity and insanity.
Indeed … change is afoot … and I fear NOT for the better. We are being bullied by a new generation of intentional misfits who insist on shaping the world to accept … nay, celebrate … their deviant proclivities. It’s not looking good unless we STOP catering to damaged and deranged.
It’s time to declare the WEF a terrorist organization.
I remember her asking someone to name 3 reasons not for Brexit?
She was all the things I am afraid Charles is not.
May she RIP.
Doesnt belong on this thread.
Queen Elizabeth’s signature, ‘Your Servant’ speaks to a life of humility and self-sacrifice. She kept her promise.
We had the opportunity to visit London during Queen Elizabeth’s Golden Jubilee and I was very touched by witnessing how much the British people truly loved their Queen. It was not something I had expected given all the venom and cynicism you often see in the tabloids & MSM. It shows how much the news from the UK is distorted by the perverse and corrupt media. But get out on the streets of London and you could see what was true, which is something I will never forget. Thousands of people waving the Union Jack with Queen Elizabeth’s photo, spontaneously singing patriotic songs, and having a joy-filled party. This was not 100% of course, as it never is. One disgruntled Londoner who’d been hired to play trumpet during one of the many celebratory concerts being held, told us he’d refused to play “Rule Britannia” on the Program, preferring to go back stage to imbibe. LOL, he was quite a character and stated he disliked the Monarchy, calling them “Pan Handlers.”
Not that I favor the form of government the British have, but as an outside observer, their Monarchy does seem to be something that unifies the British people and their spirit of national patriotism. It is different than the constant political vitriol that divides the US and currently seems to have us on the brink of civil war. Upon watching the first public rendition of the British National Anthem, “God Save our King” during the Service of Remembrance for Queen Elizabeth at St. Paul’s Cathedral yesterday, one could see the resilience and resolve in people’s grieved faces as they were singing this new phrase when the cameras came in close. I applaud the Brits for this. It is their resolve of national pride that has given them resilience through many difficult times during Queen Elizabeth’s reign. In the US we cannot really imagine what it would have been like to be bombed every night by Hitler’s forces. Yet the Brits manage to “Keep Calm and Carry On.” One hopes those who display this deep national pride do not get attacked, as we do now in the US for displays of patriotism, as being “Nationalists,” “White Supremacists”(no matter your skin color) and President Biden’s favorite term for us now, “Semi-Fascists.”
Queen Elizabeth was a remarkable woman who was deeply loved and admired by the British people. She gave the Monarchy dignity and respect. It will be interesting to see whether King Charles III will earn the love of the people or whether the Monarchy will fall out of favor in the UK during his reign. Especially now that the American actress among them, who was trained by the radical Left in Hollywood to use the Race card, is attempting to tear them down. One thing is certain. There will never be another like Queen Elizabeth. May God rest her soul and may God comfort the British people in their national time of mourning. We mourn her loss and the end of a magnificent era as well. The world will never be the same.
its class and tradition with the monarchy
something the political class has no taste for
The People back then were especially tough and had unmatched resilience during the war. In London alone, I believe 50,000 civilians were killed by the Luftwaffe and the V1-V2 rockets. Coventry was devastated with a huge loss of life. Many landmarks were lost forever but some were rebuilt. They were still able to go about their long days building ships and planes and engines and tools. They still ran the railroads and trucks 24/7. They hosted on new airbases and army camps in homes hundreds of thousands of Yanks as well as soldiers from throughout the Empire. They had great jazz music and great morale.
Have your kids watch all those old British Pathe newsreels for a taste of life back then. Or even the US Army training film hosted by Burgess Meredith on how to correctly interact with the British (and not be a jerk in a pub). Or “The True Glory” 1945 Academy Award documentary which shows the horrors of the Blitz and the huge buildup of the D-Day armada. Watch Joolz Guides of London (with 6’5″ Henley Regatta blazered host Julian McDowell) going though each London neighborhood in great historical detail in a delightful way. It would be great to recapture and relive the splendid glory and classy life of those times.
I saw writings a few decades ago about Elizabeth going against her parents, though they reluctantly gave in to her, to help the Moral of the British during WWII, by joining the military, becoming a mechanic in the Motor Pool, and helping wrap bandages, giving Encouraging speeches when she could, writing letters to soldiers far from home – still a TEENAGER at that time, but trying with all her effort to help encourage the People.
And always a Lady, even then. A Very Special Person.
Well said Mr. Oliver.
Well said.
King BOB! You have to admit the resemblance is uncanny.
Neil,
My condolences to you, your loved ones and country.
Although not our experience, the American way is to respect yours, and every other form of govt outside communism.
But barack obama and oprah, taking harry hostage, with ‘honey pot”, megan. I have to say, you all across the pond are under a hiroshima attack, by the EU and Globalists towards the monarchy and king charles is a wild card, judging from his past.
Even more fight and skin in the game.
GOD have mercy.
God bless you all.

This little (well, 40 minutes) you tube video is by an artists material reviewer that I like to follow, he is a former UK military person who has had injury and some PTSD still, and he gives a personal account of his experience as an infantry soldier, one of the Queens Guards, and thought to share here:
Ay!
If only it had been the Catalan Armada…. we might be talking today about Isabel la segona.
Charles just doesn’t seem to have the strength of character of his mother… Perhaps King Juan Carlos I, retired, might want to be the stand in until William is ready for the throne. Juan Carlos proved his mettle.
King Juan Carlos is still the Count of Barcelona, woohoo!, so he will introduce good food to the English. And he will likely give Manchester City a Royal Title: Real Manchester FC.. hmm… no, that might make Pep Guardiola leave.
But seriously, I do wonder how important is the royalty to the going ons in the UK? Seems to me like other than a photogenic picture head that gets the adoration of the Hollywood Intelligentsia, the Royals really don’t do much.
May this Fine Lady rest in Peace
I was, also. I was 4. It seemed to take all day! I will never forget her beautiful, long, train.
I was only two. but later on, I saw snatches of her wedding in Fred Astaire’s movie, “Royal Wedding”.
Mr. Oliver put on a suit jacket and tie for the occasion.
~Good man.
Well spoken Neil. Wonderful tribute to the only Queen I have known. I remember watching Queen Elizabeth coronation on black & white tv- 1953 I was almost 7. I will certainly watch her funeral. God Bless the Queen in heaven & may God save the new King Charles.
Good speech. And…see? He looks sharp in a suit. Looks like a professor or something.
You have no idea how many people disliked or couldn’t give a heck over the queen’s death. The few persons I talked with I had to explain to them she was just a figurehead and most likely had nothing to do with Britain’s colonization (that was their beef with her). They doubted me. Incredible!
The state of DIS-education in the (formerly) Christian Western world today is appalling, and dangerous.
Lazy ignorance leads to destruction. And we’re experiencing that right now. Thank you for taking the time to explain to the deliberately dumbed-down. Maybe some of them will begin to question what they’ve been told by their enemies, and see them for what they really are.
Even for a mere figurehead, Queen Elizabeth II presided over the dissolution of all remaining British colonies, most of which she accomplished early in her reign. Why isn’t that better known and celebrated, instead of the lazy stupid ignorants blaming her for “colonies” and “slavery”? Why doesn’t the whole world know and acknowledge that England was the first country in the world to PEACEFULLY and COMPLETELY abolish slavery? Why doesn’t the whole world know and acknowledge that MANY prominent countries RIGHT NOW trade slaves and traffic in children and sex slaves?
She was against all such abominations and abuse and criminality! Yet PARLIAMENT ignores and turns a blind eye to THEIR stupid “immigration policies” and crimes, the grooming gangs — Islamists who capture and sell/trade English girls for gang rape and sex slaves? RIGHT THERE IN ENGLAND!!!
And the “police” are ALL ABOUT combing social media for “hate speech” and thought crimes, while REAL, physical, violent crimes are committed and NOT pursued or prosecuted!
Queen Elizabeth II has passed at the right time in her once-great and beautiful and sane and righteous country’s spiral into filth and degeneracy.
Who will clean up Parliament and bring back what was once briefly shining moment closest to Camelot on this earth? Diverse and degenerate Parliament is snuffing out one among the greatest heritages of decent civilization this world has ever known.
Who will answer the Christian Queen’s silent call to save the ancient Peoples of the Isles by restoring practical sanity, decency, pride in heritage, and true Christianity? Who will answer the call to restore the rights and freedoms of these Peoples of the Isles?
That was fittingly Magnificent, as was Elizabeth II.
And very Importantly – it was TRUE! It IS Truth! She has been a VITAL Part, an Embodiment, if you will, of the Image and Reality of England. In far more ways than Not!
One thing not mentioned anywhere I’ve been the last few days is Fred Astaire’s movie, “Royal Wedding” with the famous dance sequence where he danced all over a room, floor, walls, ceiling:
“Royal Wedding is a 1951 American musical comedy film directed by Stanley Donen, and starring Fred Astaire and Jane Powell, with music by Burton Lane and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner. Set in 1947 London at the time of the wedding of Princess Elizabeth and Philip Mountbatten.”
The world will be shocked when the truth of the so called “Royal Family” is revealed.
Ask the Kikuyu who were put in concentration camps when their ancestral lands were stolen from them in the first year of her reign.
And in the tenth year of her reign, Kenya got its independence.
Elizabeth II had nothing to do with how Kenya — or any of the African colonies (or any other) — became a colony and what the people were put through. All that happened decades, in some cases, even centuries, before she was even born. You can properly lay the blame at the feet of Parliament and at the feet of those who are really pulling the strings against the world today. They’ve been actively destroying people all over the world for over 500 years, give or take a couple of centuries.
But she did oversee the dissolution of British colonization all over the world, very shortly (historically speaking) after she ascended the throne. Doesn’t that count?
How about being a bit more precise about history and who’s responsible for what and when?
Very eloquent, Neil.
May God Rest The Queen…
A time and place for everything………..this is not the time for harsh criticism of the Queen, her service and monarchy………
Even the IRA, thru it’s political spokes arm, the Sinn Fein, has said that now is not the time……..
But the liberal idiots of American talk media and academia feel entitled to go down that path. Sonny Hostin, of NBC, a black woman “news reader” of little substance, couldn’t refrain herself. A woman who has never been the direct victim of British colonialism, or monarch target (unlike the IRA/NI Catholic). But she felt entitled to rift on the Queen.
My respect for the Queen was tempered somewhat by the fact that the Windsors are globalists to the core.
Francis Crick and James Watson discovered the double helix structure of human DNA in 1953 and Elizabeth II has been coiled through the DNA of Britain ever since.
She was a pedo and her sons and husbands were pedos. She worked behind the scenes with the Rothchilds to strengthen the NWO. The crown is one of the seats at the small table of real world power brokers that are 3 steps above all govts. 2 steps above soros amd schwabb. The crown the Rothchilds and a few others that are so powerfull we will never even know their names are the real world rulers.
Also the idea of Monarchy is the complete opposite of the teachings of Christ. That somehow some family that has raped killed pillaged and burned to keep their power that that family is somehow “annointed” to rule over others. Any and all monarchys are evil. Our founders created a system that is the opposite of monarchy where each man is free to do what he wants as long as he does not violate anyone elses rights.
Look what she did to Ireland and the Irish people. Im sure the real true Irish people that had to endure the crowns abuse are rejoicing in her death. As they should be. The persecution of the Catholics in Ireland in the 20th century was absolutely VILE.
And for those that say the crown is only symbolic these days thats exactly the way the crown wants you to think that way people dont look to the crown and blame them and they can opperate in the shaddows with complete immunity from public scrutiny.
just another flawed human being paying for her sins … ( for the wages of sin is death …) nothing more …nothing less … when will the ‘created’ learn … that we are but dust in the wind … and our arrogance and stipidity … gets us nothing in the end but … what we have earned … by our behaviors … ( just some humility and humble correction would be nice …) … “THE CREATOR” …….
The best thing is mystery of British monarchy for Americans.
She held absolute power and no power at the same time.
In the US anyone who holds such power and doesn’t use it is a loser.
Equally not understood is the concept of conventions vs the law.
God save the King…let’s hope this global warming halfwit doesn’t screw it up.
God works in mysterious ways. The Di was in the frame to produce a muslim half brother to the next King +1.
The airhead died in a car crash because she was too stupid and entitled to use a seat belt.
Ah well. Darwin Award.
