The dignified transfer of the fallen service members from the terrorist attack in Kabul, Afghanistan, took place at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware today. Joe Biden and members from his administration attended the transfer.

Entry control points are perfect targets for the terrorist. Security forces concentrated, combatants and non-combatants together in close proximity. You can attack them remotely with rockets or mortars, or directly with guns, grenades or suicide vests. The 82nd Airborne and Marines have my sympathy. Its a difficult job with inherent dangers.

I served at Dover AFB and my duty station was the RAPCON ( Air Traffic Control radar) which is a stone’s throw from the mortuary. I have witnessed many arrivals, and the caskets are never loaded on to cargo vans and usually loaded directly onto the hearse. The only time they go cargo and to the mortuary is fro mass casualty, like Jim Jones and company. Even when Trump went he was right up close and spoke with the families as the families gather around the loading of the body. I have never witnessed, or seen since, the dignitaries stand so far away in a phalanx as they did today. If a phalanx is what they chose, Bribem was on the wrong side.
