I was in a store a few weeks ago, and was not wearing a mask. This belligerent woman walked up to me and demanded to know whether or not I had been “vaccinated.” I asked her, when she had her last pap smear, and walked away. She very wisely, shut her mouth, and kept it shut. Call it stunned silence or whatever you will. It worked.

Whatever happened to HIPAA laws? They were all about that a few years ago, had us filling out paperwork and signing off, etc. Duplicates of forms were issued to be sure we were all following HIPAA and our “rights” of privacy were preserved.

I agree with Snarky, if you simply must answer your door you tell them your vaccination status is between you and your doctor and nobody else. We should not feel compelled to discuss our private medical status with anyone, certainly not some college kid, which is another point. The second or third wave here in our neck of the woods is called the ‘Delta Variant’ ; we tend to call it in verbal conversation the Covid 19 Sequel or when written the Covid 19 XiQuel.
The Trump Administration created and organized Operation Warp Speed and multiple avenues of immune and vaccine attack were funded. One of them was the Novavax vaccine. Under our current administration the Novavax route has been slowed and the mRNA products (the current 3 producers of the vaccines) pushed. It is possible this is a policy decision by them.
Admittedly the production facilities for the Novavax product has been an issue, but these have been contracted out and solved. The Novavax product does not use fetal tissue to test or produce the vaccine. It uses an insect protein product to manufacture the vaccine and offers the best protection from all variants of Covid, in the 94% or higher range. Again, no human fetal tissue is used, and it is a traditional vaccine, not an mRNA product. So, the testing so far shows only the standard ‘sore arm’ side effects and not stroke or thrombosis. It should be available in Sept IF THE CURRENT admin. does not find a way to block it. Again, it is MORE effective than the mRNA products with significantly less side effects and so should not frighten the public. This product should be pushed very hard by conservatives and in all our media outlets, in my opinion.
Here are our options and each has significant perils and consequences.
