•The situation started just before 2 p.m Sunday when officers tried to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation on the 6300 block of Orchard Avenue in the Brooklyn Center area of Minneapolis. •During the stop police learned the driver, Daunte Wright (20), had an outstanding warrant. •Police attempted to take him into custody, but Daunte Wright fought with police and got back into the vehicle. •As the man got back into the vehicle an officer fired her gun hitting Wright. •Daunte Wright was able to drive several blocks before hitting another vehicle. •Police said they attempted to revive Wright but he died at the scene.
Today police released the body camera video of the police shooting of Wright during the traffic stop in Brooklyn Center. Police Chief Tim Gannon said the fatal shot was the result of an accidental discharge, and that the officer who shot Wright had intended to reach for her taser, but discharged a handgun instead.
.
… And the riots and looting began almost immediately.
… And Ben Crump is en route.
More gun control…get rid of police and establish community ‘organizers’… reparations will be fast-tracked…if you’re white, you’re racist — period…all businesses will now be invited (actually, forced) to open their doors to minorities only and everything is free (of course, masks are optional).
And, regardless of what happens to the officer involved, there will be riots — oh, excuse me, peaceful protests.
Did I forget anything?
Yeah you did…. Trump’s fault.
Carl Muggli killed his wife with a totem pole. Gun control will never work.
Some similarities here, with the person jumping back into the car (where a gun is).

OK so here we go again! Initially, when the story first broke, a white cop shot a black young man because he had an illegal air freshener dangling in his rear view mirror.
Now I see this. Ridiculous. He was a fleeing felon wanted for a gun violation. Safe to assume that he could very well be armed and dangerous.
That said…these lady cops are giving us a bad name. First the lady that enters the wrong apartment and kills the actual guy who lives there. Now this one can’t tell the difference between her taser and her actual firearm?
I’d feel better defending her if she had intended to use the gun on him saying she thought he was going for a weapon, than oopsie…I thought it was my taser. Sorrrrry!!!
But again – this story is NOT about race. If I were a cop, I’d find another career. Honestly. My son wanted to be a cop. Not any more. He is, unfortunately, a white man. His job could end him up in prison for life.
My son was also once considering a career in LE when he finishes his service in the USMC. Now he’s planning on being a firefighter/EMT. Glad he made that change.
Definitely a better move. He needs to be careful doing that as well. FDNY and EMTs in NYC are also routinely shot at. The EMTs wear bullet proof vests.
“That said…these lady cops are giving us a bad name”
It appears in this case from the bodycam video, that the lady cop interfered with the male cop’s submission hold, allowing the perp to break free
As she approaches, male cop has the perp’s wrist twisted around and hand bent upward
Male cop is attempting to handcuff perp with his other hand and lady cop reaches in – to assist, admittedly – but either she interfered with male-cop’s wrist restraint, or perp just coincidently decided to break away at just that instant, recognizing some level of fumbling on cops’ part
Male cop should have maintained his wrist restraint – WITH BOTH HIS HANDS – and instructed lady cop to cuff the perp with her cuffs
She drew her sidearm so he obviously made some distance between him and the suspect. She goofed and I really don’t want an incompetent cop on the street. On leave WITHOUT PAY because she can’t call guns tasers.
Absolutely.
That’s okay. Scott Kirby at United airlines will make sure she’s your next airline captain.
“I’d feel better defending her if she had intended to use the gun on him saying she thought he was going for a weapon, than oopsie…I thought it was my taser. Sorrrrry!!!” MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY!
hmmmm…. I was thinking, WHY would a taser gun get confused with a REAL gun?
So either she’s an idiot, or the tasers and real thing need to be more “distinguishable”.
If I am not mistaken women police officers are more likely to discharge their weapons. They are also more likely to end up on disability bc they are injured at work more. It’s not a popular opinion but being a front line LEO is not the best place for women. Sorry not sorry. The numbers speak for themselves.
I do however feel female officers play an important role in working with the victims of sexual crimes.
.
They also are more likely to get nerved up and scream. There are some good women cops. The problem is affirmative action and lowered standards. (We also saw the results of affirmative action a few years, when Mohamed Noor, clapclapclapclap, Minneapolis Somali police officer murdered Justine Daimond.)
.
Story is about affirmative action.
I went through all this in the early 90’s when the US Navy was forced to integrate females into combat pilot roles. It was and continues to be a complete disaster. Sorry ladies, but the best female pilot cannot hold a candle to the most average junior male pilot. Fortunately for them, modern technology helps to mask their deficiencies in the cockpit.
Yeah, I’m that guy, so sue me.
100% agree !!!
When my daughters can drag or carry my son to safety, like my son can carry or drag my daughters to safety … we’ll talk about women being equal in positions requiring physical strength … until then … everybody dies.
Nailed it!
Lesson for the day:
Affirmative action and guns don’t mix.
I can’t wait for the Affirmative-Action Pilots to take to the skies… That’s gonna be a Fecal Matinee. I can hear it noe…. “The FAA has release a statement that, the crash of numerable jets since the hiring of affirmative-action pilots, is due to the racism inherent in the system.”.
And the air traffic controllers that Obama decreased the standards for.
Standards are rayciss.
THANK YOU.
Everyone saying the shoot was okay because the kid was resisting is missing the bigger picture.
That picture is that sometimes it’s okay to let the perp run. The cops had his address. They could’ve sent SWAT to arrest him if they wanted. There was no need to have to take him into custody NOW. Also, the officer herself indicates she wanted to tase him NOT SHOOT HIM. And you’re second guessing her, saying she wanted to and should’ve shot the kid? That’s faulty reasoning.
And so what happened? We have another white cop shooting a black suspect/fugitive/kid. And the corresponding riot. All could’ve been avoided without undue harm to the public at large if the cops had either promptly cuffed the kid or let the kid flee and got him later. The cops just gave BLM/Antifa/Communist Democrats the ammo they need to further divide America. All because one officer wasn’t smart enough to realize they could get the kid LATER.
You who advocate the cops can/should kill fleeing suspects/fugitives/etc are arguing for YOUR OWN demise in the future. Because what you say cops can kill for today WILL MORPH in the coming future. America’s already a police state and getting worse. Besides the big two, Ruby Ridge and Waco, there’s hundreds, maybe thousands of examples of excessive force against WHITES ALSO, not just blacks. The Army LT that was sprayed was afraid for his life to get out. He was scared to “follow orders”. Are you advocating he should’ve been shot also? The day will come when you may be in his shoes. Afraid to “follow orders”. Should you be shot for it?
When Ruby Ridge happened a certain biker club motored to Idaho and volunteered to “bring them out” (the Weavers). Those idiots were sheep willing to do the government’s killings. Don’t become the same as them. Be careful what you wish for. One day it may come on your head, too.
You make very valid points, that any reasonable liberty loving person will agree with,
In this particular instance the man attempted(with success) to get back into the vehicle. If he had decided to just bolt, there may have been a much lesser risk of getting shot. struggling people reaching back into cars make cops nervous. It is generally not a good idea making anyone with firearms more nervous than they may already be in a stressful situation.
Agree with everything you said about the kid. It was bad all around. The lady officer made it worse. The black officer male had the situation in hand. Lady inserted herself under his left arm with her gun hand extended, screaming hysterically “taser, taser, taser”. She no doubt scared the black officer, causing him to lose focus on task at hand.
That she was going to tase not shoot him indicates she didn’t believe deadly force was appropriate.
The military mindset pervading police has produced a “must arrest at all costs” mentality. In some, maybe many cases, the subject can be arrested later, at home, perhaps in a surprise raid. The idea that the subject must be arrested now at all costs, even death, has to be reevaluated.
That mentality is what BATF/FBI had when they decided to gas, burn, and shoot the Davidians. They were “tired of waiting” as BATF said. What was the rush? Not like Davidians were going to escape. LE could’ve waited them out even if it took 3 more months. Same here. Tragic mistakes all around but the lady cop is the primary cause here.
.
This isn’t a “military mindset”. This is just incompetence. Another incompetent cop getting nerved up. Mistake gun for taser. That’s a flipped-out, nerved-up woman. There was no emergency here. Emotions cloud thinking.
I know you are wanting to make a point, but if you are to mention Waco, then tell the whole story. There in fact was pressure. That pressure was from the top, namely one Janet Reno and by proxy, slick Willie.
“Lady inserted herself under his left arm with her gun hand extended, screaming hysterically “taser, taser, taser”. She no doubt scared the black officer, causing him to lose focus on task at hand.”
When she yelled, “Taser, taser, taser!” how in the world would the other officer know why she was yelling those words? Maybe he thought she was yelling taser because she saw the criminal grabbed a taser. Without knowing why she’s yelling taser would cause most people to lose focus of the task at hand, and instead — at least momentarily — focus on self-preservation.
America is a police state and getting worse. Cops arresting people for no masks. Cops trying to stop church services. Cops not arresting BLM but arresting Trump supporters for Jan 6. What’s to stop cops from shooting you in the future for whatever they want?
You think they won’t because you “follow orders”? What happens when those orders are illegal, BS, and cause you to fear for your life? How about when they move to cuff you for some BS excuse, an excuse you know is BS. And you involuntarily, out of reflex, sidestep them or step back. Or don’t move fast enough for them? How about if they just unload on you and say that you made a “funny move” and they feared for their lives?
The problem with some arguments here tonight is that when – NOT IF – cops start coming for you, the reasons cops can shoot you will have morphed, and those arguments will be used to justify shooting you. We’re all on the same side here. But some aren’t seeing the bigger picture this shoot represents.
Excellent. You are on a roll.
And absolutely correct.
Ask this lady, who is now paralyzed, if the police should have continued their pursuit.
They responded to the car jacking and let the guys go.
The Aurora woman who was shot in the back is expected to survive, although she remained in critical condition at a Chicago hospital on Monday, Aurora police said.
The woman had been eating a meal in her red 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe about 4 p.m. Saturday in the restaurant parking lot in the 1200 block of North Orchard Road. Suddenly, a black Ford Escape pulled up and at least two men surrounded her SUV, “forcibly pulled her out of her vehicle, shot her in the back, and then stole her vehicle,” according to a news release.
Afterward, investigators became aware of a black Ford Escape parked nearby, “and officers learned it had been stolen in another carjacking in DeKalb County less than an hour earlier,” the statement said. The DeKalb County sheriff’s office didn’t respond to a request from the Tribune for more information, but Aurora police said they were told the Ford Escape was stolen by the same crew immediately after another stolen vehicle they were traveling in was in a car crash.
DeKalb County authorities chased the Ford soon after it was stolen, but eventually, they were forced to terminate the pursuit, a practice that is common among police to minimize danger to the public and collateral damage resulting from police chases.

Ok, fair enough. Yet have you considered that before he could be arrested at some time in the future, he committed a crime which perhaps did involve harm to another person.
Assumed in your argument is that he wouldn’t flee, that he would be available to be apprehended.
No, I suppose society would not tolerate a felon on the loose. Especially if he had been in custody but the police decided to let him walk because they opted for a more convenient time and place to take him off the streets.
Imagine the family which bares the grief caused because the police allowed the perp to walk.
In the condition you present, neither society or the law is being served or upheld.
Right the hell on! Great comments.
Also, why is it automatically assumed that EVERY TIME there is one of these incidents where a white cop kills a black person, there have no be major riots and looting?
By the way: ASHLI BABBITT- Say her name.
I smell a RolCon Troll.
What if the “allowed” to flee criminals kill or murders additional innocents – your loved ones.
Your comments confirm the BLM mantra … criminals get to be criminals 25/7/365 … and cops must be perfect 24/7/375.
You have a warrant, police stop you and attempt arrest, you run, you get shot. Pretty logical sequence of events. The only abnormality is the 5 finger discount offered at every shopping location in the region afterwards.
Cops are judge, jury, and executioners now, I guess.
Huh? Duante Wright had a trial. It was the trial he choose, too. A trial by combat and he lost!
The police have always held those powers. Judicious discipline is now in short supply. Go over to StatelyMcDanielManner blog to get inside and insightful analysis.
Mike McDaniel was, among other things, a cop. He writes objectively, articulately, and without pulling punches. I suppose he hasn’t written of this particular shooting yet, but I think he will in the near future.
My personal opinion is police are to be perceived as one-minded. (That is not a slight against them since it would be true of any professional.) Their duty is to uphold the law, by force if need be.
If the suspect resists or in any way fails to comply, he puts himself and others at peril. This is nothing new. What is new, apparently, is the seeming degraded qualifications for law enforcement.
BTW: Notice it is ‘enforcement’.
I am not overly fond of the police. In fact, I actively avoid any contact with them. This is gotten from experience. But if/when contact is made, I will not be making sudden moves or attempt to resist. Likewise, I don’t ‘hate’ on cops. I try to perceive as they might, even though knowing I would not completely understand.
I think such mindset is how I have thrice survived having police draw on me with the business end pointed at me, once while spread eagled on hood of squad with shotgun in my back. (2 times mistaken identity; 1 time a rookie with itchy trigger finger at a traffic stop on a cold December night.)
Great comment.
Language is rough.
Pretty sure this is Milwaukee/Wauwatosa area back in ’15 or ’16.
I don’t pretend to know all the facts involved in this shooting.
What I think I know is that Daunte Wright was wanted for some type of criminal activity (there was a warrant out for him) and Duante resisted arrest.
Now what are the odds that Duante would be killed by the police if he (1) hadn’t been suspected of committing a crime and (2) resisting arrest.
I’m think the odds are 99.98% that the police would have no reason to shoot Duante.
I had a few run in’s when I was a young and stupid (speeding, drinking and doing stupid things) and in each and every instance (there were not that many) I did what the police told me and there was never a problem.
Imagine that….
“Suspected or committing a crime”. The problem with this is that we are PRESUMED INNOCENT in America. And the reality is what is considered a crime in America is fast evolving into whatever the current political climate mandates. Thinks of how this mindset and and will be used against patriots and law abiding citizens.
Until you put on the uniform and work the streets you are talking through your a$$. There is no training for reaction to fear. Before reaching a verdict perhaps we should conduct an investigation.
The video is the investigation.
Tell that to Chauvin.
Chauvin gets no sympathy from me. Fentanyl Floyd was down and cuffed behind his back. Not a threat. Chauvin erred in not responding to the prisoner’s claims he couldn’t breathe. At that point EMT should’ve been called.
Chauvin maybe didn’t directly kill FF. But he didn’t help keep him alive either.
….and it wasn’t Chauvin’s job or responsibility to help him live!
Oh boy, there is much you do not know of the Chauvin case. For brevity I’ll provide just one example.
A suspect, even if they know they are guilty, may utilize several means to avoid arrest. That includes feigning a medical condition. In the record, it is documented that Floyd was saying, ‘I can’t breathe’ while seated in the squad prior to being removed thereof and taken down to the ground.
Yes, an officer should believe the suspect when they say that. But the officer would consider the totality of events when considering the plausibility of the suspect saying they can’t breathe.
That would include the fact that it is by breath by which one can make such utterances. That a suspect can say such a thing (multiple times) is de facto evidence that they can breathe.
EMTs were called, first as a code 2, then elevated to an emergency code 3 well before Floyd died.
I hope Chauvin does some years for manslughter and this clown of an LEO gets at least a negligent homicide charge. Truth is, this kind of thing happens more than once a year but it wouldn’t be a story if the suspect were white. I think if he were white, many on the Treehouse would feel differently.
The despicable, racist and demonstrably false BLM narrative is teaching young black men (the group already statistically shown to be most predisposed to criminal violence in the first place) that the police are bad, that they’re out to “get them” and that cops are actually looking for a reason to shoot them. Of course this creates friction whenever there’s contact with the police and these idiots start acting furtively, squirrelly and generally non-compliant which often escalates into a use of force situation and critical incident.
The left knows this, but doesn’t care because they consider urban blacks expendable human cannon fodder in their war against Western Civilization in general and the US in particular.
Make no mistake, President Trump’s genuine overtures to the black community were beginning to take hold and that SCARED THE HELL out of the left.
The semi-dormant BLM mob was reactivated / agitated for the Fentanyl Floyd overdose video. . . . The fact that that happened less than three days after Biden AGAIN displayed his blatant racism with his “…. then you ain’t black” comment was NOT a coincidence. They needed a diversion and Floyd the Felon was their man.
Follow the trail of blood back to the doorstep of Barack Hussein Alinsky & Co.
Total assassination to stir the extremely volatile city.
Interesting you raised the predisposition to violence. Daunte the choir boy has a social media presence full of drugs, guns and flash money. There is also a video that featured him throwing fire works into occupied public transit buses.
“the officer who shot Wright had intended to reach for her taser, but discharged a handgun instead”
$50 bucks says she was hired to meet some SJW quota, not because she was the most qualified.
“Most women fail US Army physical so the Biden army will reduce requirements
The US Army is considering reversing its “gender-neutral” physical since most of the women can’t keep up with the men.”
https://www.independentsentinel.com/most-women-fail-us-army-physical-so-the-biden-army-will-reduce-requirements/
Just what America needed ! Anyway let’s look for some twisted logic that this event is why there can never be voter id.
I understand Boots position. I understand how other peoples’ position that this was a series of escalating bad decisions. The “kid” is dead, he made a series of dumb decisions, putting that officer in the wrong place and the wrong time to punch his ticket. Two lives ended for the price of one; tragic on both ends. I’m numb to the kid’s death. Act like you are part of an outlaw subculture, look like you are part of an outlaw subculture, expect to get treated like part of an outlaw subculture by a LEO. The competency of that LEO then decides whether or not you are judged by 12 or carried by 6. Does it excuse his death? No. I could say something about an immoral society glorifying drugs, crime, wealth, and murder but I guess there have always been people that have decided to be an outlaw even when justice was faster and ended with a short drop on a long rope and most of America went to church on Sundays.
The only new thing here is the race baiting, the sanctioned looting, and the grifting. Scratch that, I’m probably just not old enough to know that’s not new either.
Keep voting demonrats minneapolis. You are almost there in Utopia. s/
Kimberly Potter, a 25-year veteran of the Brooklyn Center police (right), has been named as the officer who shot and killed Daunte Wright (inset) on Sunday afternoon at a traffic stop. Potter’s boss, Tim Gannon, chief of Brooklyn Center police, said that
Potter mistook her handgun for a Taser. In bodycam footage (left) Potter can be heard yelling at Wright:
‘Taser! Taser!’ She then fires, and exclaims:
‘Holy s***, I shot him.’
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9464317/Senior-female-cop-accidentally-shot-Minneapolis-black-man-revealed-25-year-veteran.html
It looks like a tragic mistake that occurred during a STRUGGLE with him. He was resisting her. She was also accompanied by a new cop she was training that may also vouch for her.
He was resisting her.
—–
No he wasn’t. He was resisting the big black male cop. That cop had the situation well in hand. The lady cop was nowhere near the kid at that time. She startled the big cop by when she inserted herself under his left arm, hysterically screaming “taser! taser! taser!”. She pushed the big cop out of the way and the rest is on the video.
Screaming taser, taser, taser indicates lady cop DID NOT BELIEVE DEADLY FORCE NECESSARY?
If she didn’t think it was necessary. If the big cop that had the kid didn’t think it was necessary (he never drew his weapon), if the white cop on passenger side of vehicle didn’t think deadly force necessary (he also didn’t draw his weapon), who is anyone here to think it was necessary?
John Wayne: Life is tough. It’s tougher when you’re stupid.
Daunte Wright: John Wayne was right!
She was also accompanied by a new cop she was training
Minneapolis is run by dumb-asses. Who killed Duane? Duane, Kim, Kim’s Boss, the Mayor, the City Council and all the rest of Minneapolis killed Duane. Could a city ever be more populated by morons completely wedded to leftist fantasy?
And although the photos make Brooklyn Center look like a nice little hamlet north of Minneapolis, I know a lot of people who REFUSE to drive through or by Brooklyn Center — any time of the day or night.
Incompetent officers that can’t tell a taser from a gun should be charged and found guilty. Period.
If I accidentally shoot someone as a civilian, I’m getting charged with manslaughter. So should this hopefully Ex officer.
Second degree manslaughter coming right up!
https://www.nytimes.com/2021/04/14/us/kim-potter-charged-daunte-wright.html
Watching the activity tonight….looks like in 2021 they will have tolerance for illegal riots….the useful idiots were useful in 2020….they no longer are needed. More press cameras than rioters tonight.
Those suburban and rural real estate prices are going to skyrocket even more. Los Angeles Sheriff already put the California National Guard on stand by alert!
Yeap, we live 3 hours from the rioting taking place in the Twin Cities and property values in outstate Minnesota are steadily rising.
And anything that goes on the market quickly sells.
Of course. . . it’s snowing here right now, while the grass is green in the cities.
“It wasn’t an accident. Policing in our country is inherently & intentionally racist.
“Daunte Wright was met with aggression & violence. I am done with those who condone government funded murder.
“No more policing, incarceration, and militarization. It can’t be reformed.“
No more militarization? Then go protest the DC encampment, send the National Guard home, and pull down the new fences.
Rashita wants a third word shithole, just like where she came from before she came to the oppressive USA for the big paycheck.
He’s fleeing the interview! He’s fleeing the interview!
Play stupid games … get accidentally shot in the chest. You know … like that woman who was executed by someone in the capital. We’ve heard NOTHING about that police officer … NOTHING. I am certain we will hear nothing about this officer either? Right? This entire case will be disappeared too … Right?
Double standards seem to be the new standard
ASHLI BABBITT- say her name.
I can only imagine how dumb and stupid that Cop has to be. She thinks her gun is a taser. She has to be a Libtard.
Cop should have shut the door when the perp exited the car. And, an ankle sweep never hurts. Well maybe if you hit your head face first. “Face to the floor” works for more than Wall Street.
Given the high likelihood that Wright was going for a gun the girl officer obviously SHOULD have been going for her gun, not her taser.
Shades of the Rayshard Brooks case where as soon as Brooks got one officer’s Taser the other should have drawn his gun and shot him but instead the officer drew his own Taser in response.
Just luck Brooks wasn’t able to tase both and then kill them with their own guns. As it was he was able to get off one taser shot straight into the face of the downed officer from 3 feet before the taser-armed officer missed twice in response.
Seems obvious that the reason for the kid-gloves was race. The officer who should have shot immediately didn’t want to get persecuted for shooting a black in necessary self defense so he tried to make his taser suffice instead.
Seems he realized his mistake, since he did shoot Brooks several seconds later, during their foot-chase, when Brooks turned and fired his taser another time.
If you’re white and you’re still working as a police officer in Minneapolis, YOU deserve to be shot. But you’ll probably just end up with a long prison sentence.
Anyone still working as a cop in Minneapolis is brain dead. You’ve got the governor, the attorney general, the mayor, and the police department conspiring to prosecute a cop for murder when it is clear to a moral certainty that the supposed “victim” of the alleged murder died of a self-inflicted drug overdose. To get up and put on a uniform every day is invite unjust imprisonment at the hands of the sick, filthy communists who run Minnesota. What does that tell you about the mental capacity of the people who do it? It’s a miracle that stuff like this doesn’t happen six times a day.
Same story in NYC.
Plus, cops no longer have qualified immunity.
Such a tough time for cops right now, the pressure must be huge.
My spidey sense says this was a fabricated event. Black male cop can’t get cuffs on the kid even though he had plenty of time, search pockets before cuffing him, says no, no, no without securing him first – cmon man.
What is missing in all this is the crux of the matter! The 20 year old already had a long rap sheet!! If he had been leading a good life that was free of crime, none of this would have happened. He put himself in this situation. The police officer made a mistake and will have to live with that for the rest of her life. The “victim” may have well gone on to more violent and vicious crime.
None of this would have happened had he not resisted arrest.
He had two petty misdemeanors. That’s it. I looked them up myself. Last summer he got charged with illegal possession of a 45 and that case was slowly working its way through the system. Remember that the Highly Deadly Covid has ground court cases to a standstill. He was supposed to “attend” a Zoom court appearance on April 2nd, but the notification was sent to the wrong address. Obviously he shouldn’t have tried to run, but he probably didn’t know he had an outstanding warrant. His only convictions were misdemeanors, and I think one of those was a parking violation.
When will the same level of accountability we put on or LEO be put on our elected officials?
Interesting point- how did it become normal for every police shooting to result in riots and mayhem?
https://nypost.com/2021/04/12/how-did-it-become-normal-for-every-police-shooting-to-bring-ruinous-rioting/
The media has everyone convinced that the biggest danger facing black people is murder by police. Last year in Minneapolis, there were 82 murders if you count George Floyd. 81 of those were not committed by police. Most of the victims (and perpetrators) were black. Sunday night / Monday morning after the Daunte Wright killing, there was at least a double homicide in Minneapolis.
I see the Twins games was postponed last night as well as the T-Wolves game. The Wolves are playing a weekday matiness while the Twins added a doubleheader set for tomorrow. The MLB & NBA Commissioners better chime in and boycott all games in Mpls and make the Twins and Wolves play all there games on the road. Portland is so much safer.
That will send a message, interrupt their Religious Ceremony and Worship of their _____,

The first officer should have moved Wright to the rear portion of the vehicle, closed the vehicle door, another officer should have moved in, and both officers should have taken physical control of Wrights upper body by securely holding his upper arms.
A third officer should have applied the hand cuffs, as the first officer was fumbling with them way too long. Had Wright broken free-[unlikely]- he would have had to open the door, allowing the officers to grab his pant cuffs and pull him to a ground position.
Idk, saw the video and cannot understand the handcuffing procedure here?
Next to wide open door?
Seen a few of these vehicle stops and most done at rear of car, no?
And how did the officer with the gun not realize her true gun when she held it out front and in broad daylight before shooting?
It appears the training is quite lacking here, no?
And yes, none of this would be an issue with a cooperating criminal.
But seriously, how often is a known criminal gonna cooperate?
Why is the gunshot not heard in video? The officer’s voice can be heard but the gunshot is not? That seems a bit odd.
Plus, no blood splatter? At such a close range I would think both would be prevalent on the bodycam footage.?
