DO NOT PANIC! There is a 99.997% chance of survival. Perhaps even more. The virus has mutated dozens upon dozens of times perhaps a hundred plus times since January. Each time a virus mutates it typically weakens in its ability to kill. The number of hospitalizations and deaths has fallen dramatically. Yes, there are large spikes of outbreaks and high rates of infection. But still the number of hospitalization and deaths are still very low. There have been multiple reports from medical experts that the strains they are seeing are not nearly as dangerous as they once were. Flattening the curve has worked in that it was intended to prevent the hospitals from being overwhelmed.

Most hospital workers have contracted the virus and recovered and are now immune. Those that have not are likely immune naturally. That was despite full PPE and advanced knowledge and training on it’s proper usage. This virus is extremely contagious and it is fully airborne. We know this because on the one hand they tell people to wear masks and to social distance but at the same time someone with zero symptoms can spread it. Meaning they are not coughing, sneezing, etc. They are merely breathing and apparently shedding the virus. That means the virus does not require droplets to spread. That means it is more like measles which is the most contagious virus known. The China virus is the second most airborne contagion known. That means all the masks are worthless. The virus can travel through a mask on your breath like a mosquito through a chainlink fence. The only way to not risk contracting the virus is to hide in a bunker avoiding all human contact and if you have to go out you need a fully isolated biohazard CDC suit with its own oxygen supply. No filter will work effectively unless it’s an advanced multi-stage cylinder with air supply under pressure. Using many different types of filters and perhaps UV light to destroy the virus particles entirely. None of that is practical at all. First of all it’s crazy expensive and second of all it’s unnecessary. This virus was very dangerous at first but that is no longer the case. Since it’s weakened considerably due to mutation it is far more survivable than initially. We know this because we saw how bad it was in China and it was worse than they were saying. It was bad here in the US and Europe and now not so much and it’s declining in its lethality over time. It can still kill and those at the most risk still need to quarantine themselves and they are better off with no human contact and much stricter social distancing. Funds should be directed to protecting those people and the elderly shut-ins as well as nursing and elder care facilities.

They just don’t want to acknowledge this to the general public because it will cause panic. The masks make people feel safe. The perspective is a political one to exercise power and control over people. To keep the public in fear and to potentially effect the election. Biden was speaking from an empty parking lot 20+ feet away from his film crew and staff wearing a mask at a podium attempting to sow fear while he talked about Trump contracting the virus and about the importance of wearing a mask. He was difficult to hear with his surgical mask on. FYI, that type of mask is nearly worthless. An N95 / N99 mask is no good either. It just makes it harder to breathe. The homemade masks and washable cloth masks are equally worthless. They only block droplet transmission. The virus does also spread via droplet transmission and droplets do travel distances and land on surfaces, etc. More of the virus is present in droplets. A mask will only help an infected person from spreading the virus while they have symptoms. But at the same time they are shedding the fully airborne virus by just breathing and that goes right through the mask.

The vaccines are unlikely to work because this virus is mutating at a rapid pace. The influenza vaccines do not cover all the strains because it takes about a year to produce the next years flu vaccine and they have to guess which strains to include and they frequently are incorrect in their prediction and despite having a flu shot there are still large outbreaks of influenza. The Corona Virus family of viruses are the definition of the common cold. The only way a vaccine would work is if it worked differently than previous vaccines. It’s not just a damaged virus introduced to give your body time to develop antibodies. They need to alter our immune system in a bio-mechanical way to better combat the virus. Either by naturally blocking the virus from attaching to healthy cells or by better identifying and attacking the virus. There is a lot of innovative research going on. One of the vaccine studies was stopped when one test subject developed a massive spinal inflammation issue the might have been a side effect of the vaccine. They are not sure but they are concerned that is what happened. So it’s important not to rush the vaccines until they are proven safe scientifically. That means it could be the end of 2021 before they have a safe viable vaccine and even then it might not be as effective as hoped.

200K out of 331M Americans is not a large number. Most of the deaths were indeed due to severe co-morbidities. Those people with severe medical problems such as cancer, heart disease, asthma, emphysema, congestive heart failure, high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, advanced age, etc., etc., etc. Many others were lumped in due to federal funding. The more virus deaths the more money and resources sent to a state. Therefore, you had people who died of a heart attack, stroke, cancer, car accident, etc. testing positive for the virus and suddenly they are classified as a COVID-19 death despite it not being the root cause of death. Only about 10% of the 200K deaths are considered by the CDC to be perfectly healthy people who succumbed to the virus as the root cause of death.

Trump and everyone going to the White House have been tested with the 15min rapid test. Trump and the inner circle are tested at least once a day if not more. During the travel and public appearances, rallies, etc. even more testing is performed. They caught the infection immediately. But we know this virus can be shedding a week before someone develops symptoms. It’s possible during the ACB nomination ceremony that someone was infected but did not test positive and the virus has been incubating for a week. Even if they wore masks it would still have spread. There might have been fewer infected but it would likely not have made much of a difference. I know this because all the PPE didn’t stop doctors and nurses from contracting the virus. But we don’t know how long it takes to test positive in that scenario. Meaning that it is possible to spread the virus while testing negative as the test will only detect the virus when there is a large quantity of virus in your body as you are symptomatic or you will have symptoms in a day or two. If you breathed the virus into your lungs it starts replicating there and until the virus count is high the test won’t see it. Meanwhile you are shedding the virus with every breath after a day or two of infection. Trump was tested positive and the next day developed initial mild symptoms as did Melania. Meaning the virus replicated enough to be detected and symptoms mean your body has begun fighting the virus. The virus doesn’t cause symptoms your immune system causes symptoms. The virus doesn’t kill you the immune system response is what kills you. A cytokine storm is when your immune system goes berserk and starts attacking your vital organs. That’s what killed people with the 1918 Spanish Flu. The treatment options are all about reducing the immune response and keeping it from going out of control or otherwise blocking the virus from invading cells or slowing it down. The good news is the virus mutations are resulting in strains that are less likely to cause your immune system to go crazy.

Trump was moved to Walter Reed because they can better care for him there. They started him on the antibody cocktail and now he’s on the Remdesivir therapy while they closely monitor him. There will likely be a report of a 3rd treatment by tomorrow. If he begins having difficulty breathing they may give him the steroid asthma nebulizer treatment that is very common for asthma patients and seems to work well. Steroids reduce your immune response. So does HCQ which is why it works for rheumatoid arthritis which is an autoimmune disorder where the immune system attacks your joints causing inflammation. Trumps condition has not worsened and he’s not in a hospital room, he’s in a private suite of Presidential offices and living quarters and he’s going to continue working. Remember that staying hydrated, taking Tylenol for fever and pain relief, eating and taking vitamin supplements plus getting plenty of rest is all most people need do and 99.997% of them will recover just fine. Do Not Panic. Trump will be fine and he will likely recover rapidly in days.
