Earlier today Arizona GOP Chairwoman Kelli Ward noted the Maricopa Board of Supervisors (BoS) was engaging in a propaganda war against the people of Arizona and the State Senate. It didn’t take long for evidence to surface.
The Board of Supervisors sends the media a copy of the 13-page letter they claim to have sent to the Arizona Senate. However, AZ Senate President Karen Fann has never even see the letter. [LINK] The BoS sent the letter to the media before they sent it to the AZ Senate. Yeah, propaganda.

Greg Dane, arrest them for what? I don’t know who did what; there has to be evidence. The audit is hopefully going to show evidence of election fraud. To get the evidence they must have all the materials from the BOS. The BOS is refusing to turn it over to the auditors.
The senate requested the BOS to appear before them to answer questions. The BOS has declined. I don’t know why they didn’t subpoena them. If they refused a subpoena, then it could go to a judge. How will the judge rule? It seems to be a standoff until there is a legal means to force the BOS to comply.

At the hearing today, it seemed to lack real answers as to what was bad and what was good. Does it mastter that they coudn’t find the originals of the duplicate ballots? Who was culpable and who wasn’t. Does it mattter that the data base went missing? Are the machines on the internet or aren’t they? Does it matter that no one has the passwords? It was so low-key, I wondered if any of them had a pulse. What’s with the blue pens being taken and why didn’t they mention that sharpies were first indicated and then banned? listening to Kellie Ward today may be of some help.

I read through the letter, and it comes off to me as childish and snarky. Obviously, the press will eat it up, but I wouldn’t feel comfortable signing my name to something like this. It reads more like something you would see on an Internet message board than a serious legal document.
They obviously have a dark spot in their brains where integrity was suppose to go.
So many comments tonight that I want to respond to. But I cannot. I am not a know it all for sure. But its funny the way it is when I think about it, all of those weary (weeks away from my home, traveling, living in suitcase, airports, fear of flying and day after day after day eating 3 meals a day in restaurants with my coworkers had a plus side. Especially when we met resistance. Best audits are those where we met that unique fear of “unmasking.” Especially when it came to the data.
I can bet auditors who have been program analyst/auditors are wishing they could volunteer to participate in the audits of the U.S. Elections. I myself am chafing at the bit. If this comes to the PA , I’m in, one way or another.

No. My comments “do not intend to discourage and demean the effort being put forth by the AZ forensic audit. ” My intention was to share what I think is likely going on behind the scenes with the deep state mentality and methods as have been previously shown. It was my intention to relay this thought to be forewarned, aware, and prepared to the possibility.
I stand (and donate, help with research, e-mail, and write to many involved) with all efforts and audits in all states for integrity in our elections.
I am, and have been for quite awhile, here to learn, share information and views, have civil discourse, find solutions, and keep up “the good fight”. I do not believe that “evil will triumph”, but do know we must fight it. And in order to do that we must seek all knowledge and information in order to combat it.

It’s not smart to play games with the Senate of your own State Government, which has already concluded that “the guilty run when not being chased.” Any county’s honest board of election officials should have been rushing to prove that they conducted their affairs in strict accordance with the law. One thing about Arizona, they have some truthseekers scattered about, people who welcome the light of day onto messy affairs. They’re deadenders on this, they fight to the last man. When Gary Bettman and the Arizona Coyotes scammed their way to a sweetheart deal on a new hockey arena in Glendale, these deadenders wanted to get that agreement in front of the public. Bettman fought a scorched earth legal battle to block this, flying in brigades of NY lawyers, trying to bury his sweetheart deal (which should be a public document, most would agree), but after years of litigation it finally came out. The various governments had paid for the new stadium and were paying $25M/year to the Coyotes to run it.
Heck, where do I sign up for a deal like that? No wonder they fought so hard to keep that deal quiet. The deal was revised of course.

I have never heard any official talk about audits as a way of improving the election process. Why not? Any audit worth anything will identify issues that should be used to change election laws and process, to prevent problems in the future.
It is a very important feature of many private companies. It is called Continuous improvement, Six Sigma, Total Quality, Quality Improvement, and many other names. Quality improvement (QI) is a systematic, formal approach to the analysis of practice performance and efforts to improve performance. It can not be done without good analysis and data confirming the process works.
Any politician or official that doesn’t recognize the benefit of independent audits, really has no clue about how to avoid errors, reduce costs, improve the whole process, and provide value to taxpayers by having a “quality” election.
They should be standing up and saying we are striving for 100% accuracy in elections, knowing we will never get there, our goal is zero errors as reported by independent auditors and we welcome the audit results.
Is that not one of the stated purpose of the AZ Senate? To seek out problems and fix it?

Yes it is the purpose but think any politician will take any action after it’s completed? Even if they find no fraud, there will be inneficiencies, errors, and lack of expertise on the part of some that will need to be addressed.
It is human nature to *not* ask questions about situations where the answers are unpalatable. People ignore going to the doctor, for example, when they clearly know they are sick or need care (e.g. dentist). The car is “fine” and “just runs a little rough”…rather than risk paying $150 for a mechanic to evaluate the car and finding out things are far worse than you suspected.
We don’t routinely audit elections because auditing elections would demonstrate that our elections are rickety and scary nightmares run by marginally competent administrators who do not know how the technology they use even works.
100% accuracy in any large-scale data collection regime is impossible. That’s why mandatory recounts do not usually kick in unless the margin of victory is less than about 0.5%. In elections where the vote comes down to a few dozen votes out of 20,000-50,000 votes this “randomness” is why recounts generate different results from one recount to the next. It is why many of Biden’s “wins” were just above the mandatory recount threshold. It’s not just that he got “just enough” votes to beat Trump…it’s that the machines across 6 states miraculously put Biden’s victory just a hair above the mandatory recount margin. This is one more indication of fraud.
The people who rigged the election did so in a way that there would be no automatic recount. Their reaction to Arizona reflects their worst nightmare: a true audit and recount. One, because a 12,000 vote margin of victory is “noise” so a recount could easily produce a different result. Two, because said recount would inevitably reveal data manipulation of the sort that the Maricopa County BoS is trying to cover up.

Not impossible but not likely. The key is to strive for perfection constantly trying to get there and working that error rate as close to zero as possible.
Many manufacturing companies work from a loss rate of 1-3% depending on the product and process but still try to do better even if they end up at 2% error rate.
So I read the 14 page Maricopa Board letter, leaving aside the insults in almost every response I have to say I found their explanations somewhat credible. That said, most of the responses have the feel of obsfucation. They’re either overly dramatic (the router) or overly detailed (ballot counts don’t match box count).
On the chain of custody, they get tricky keeping the focus on the chain of custody documentation between them and the Senate auditors. I don’t think that’s the chain of custody documentation is questioning. So their response on the one hand looks good and on the other they are obsfucating. Leaving me to wonder “why”.
On the deleted files, they make a good argument but they work so hard to trash the auditors with it that you are left feeling they are blowing smoke again.
It’s really a shame the Board has taken such an antagonistic posture. They could have done the country a favor by working with the auditors and providing transparency. Instead they are petulant and egotistical. Not a good look for governance.
We are never going to get out of this mess until all these parties start acting like adults and working together.

I have decided the Maricopa County Gubmint, especially the Sheriff, are guilty of the crime of rigging the Arizona elections for all Statewide candidates and all candidates running for office on the Maricopa County ballots. These people need to be shot. There is no other solution for elected officials who rig elections and disenfranchise voters in a free country. This is banana republic crap and it cannot be allowed to continue, ever. A certain amount of election fraud will always be in elections, but none should ever involve Gubmint officials, ever. All Legislatures have “plenary” powers in their states. They can’t be denied, especially not by state employees. They can do whatever they see fit to satisfy themselves that their laws are being complied with. And, yeah, they can find you in contempt… which is also a felony.
