If these corporations realize their actions will cause 80 to 100 million people to stop using their products, they will feel the scale of their financial position being crushed. Keep in mind MAGA supporters are the people who economically represent the largest audience with a greater percentage of their income available for recreational purchasing decisions.
If the America First middle-class stop purchasing all products generated by MLB, not just tickets but everything, then Major League Baseball will collapse financially. The downstream consequences to the people inside MLB are exponential. Good luck getting a lucrative employment contract amid a sport that starts declining….

MLB allows internet voting on selection of All-Star team starters, by position. I suggest that a significant number of the 80 to 100 million Americans check out the early June statistics of the worst-performing Major Leaguers, by position, and vote for them as All-Stars. Maybe if the All-Star line-ups are filled with poorly-performing bums, MLB will get the message that their precious little All-Star Game is a travesty.

Besides boycotting MLB, here’s something else we can do, which is very important: Write “reader comments” to our local news organization, correcting mistakes in their news reporting.
For example, there have been plenty of false statements about Georgia’s new election law. https://legiscan.com/GA/text/SB202/id/2348602 has a copy of the law. You can pick a false statement about the law, then do a search in the text of the law (to see what the law really says), then write a reader comment to your news organization, which tells what the law really says.
In your reader comment, give the URL of where to find the law, and tell which lines in the law cover your topic, so that readers can look it up themselves.
I just did that about an hour ago. It takes a few minutes to do the research, and to write up and send in the reader comment. But it’s so important to let the readers know what the facts are. Your reader comment, which sets the record straight, might be the only source of accurate information that some readers read.

I do hope some of the players behind this move are booed the rest of the season. Mookie Betts and other famous black All-Stars across the league were threatening to boycott the game in Atlanta, which I suspect is the real reason Manfred moved the game.
