I agree with what you say. It should work. Individuals could and should do everything you said. It they won’t. I worked in management a long time, and I owned a small business, as well as some work in my church. My experience with people tells me most people wait indefinitely for someone to tell them what to do. Then they require constant accountability to keep going, and do things right.
Right now the country is being entirely obliterated because these people are sitting on their ass, blaming President Trump and waiting for him to pull a rabbit out of a hat. They won’t call and write their senators and representatives, they won’t contact governors to encourage fighting then pandemic narrative, they won’t get involved in the election process locally, they won’t actually follow through by boycotting businesses such as Amazon and getting the hell off of Facebook to breach the back of some of the tech giants.
Great leaders can sometimes get slothful humans to actually act. In my mind, that’s the definition of great leaders. They actually get reality tv watching whiners to act.
Perhaps, through the misery coming, enough of the minority of people it requires to actually make a difference in their actions will wake up and start fighting back. If, eventually, by a miracle and a crap ton of hard work by a brave and risk taking few, we turn this country back toward freedom, half will still be idiots wanting communism, whether they actually know it for what it is or not, another 4/5 will just be barely awake sods who got pulled along for the ride and saved, and one fifth will be people who carried the load. And IMO, I’m hopefully estimating high on that number.

What a great interview. I don’t have anything inciteful or provocative to add. It was just really great to hear optimism, clarity of purpose and determination from 45.
None of us are perfect, but Trump is not mean and not given to personal attacks — he’s very down to earth and human, but very forthright and strong too. On occasion when he felt he’d been wrong, he never flinched from saying so and making amends for it, whether accepted by an injured party or not. He has the American people at heart, loves his country and is itching to rebuild it — but in cooperation with other nations, not as an arrogant hegemon.
However, I do believe that many Americans are puzzled why he has encouraged them to get vaccinated as people are increasingly shying away from vaccines — and I truly believe, because people are so confused and worried, Trump should make it very clear what he meant about this highly sensitive issue, as at this time, many Americans regard vaccines with distrust and even as life threatening, due to the many grave after effects of the jabs. I have seen umpteenth comments on x22 Report and on many other sites, where many said they’d been hundred percent behind him and had wanted him back, until he’d told people to consider getting vaccinated. Many then felt so let down and upset, they even said he’s showing he’s just another DS vassal … So I hope he lays their deep concerns to rest about which vaccines or what therapeuticals he’d meant or recommends. This is a HUGE blind spot for many conservatives. Vaccines are not part of some depopulation plot (not saying you said that, but I hear it way too often on the right) and what you called the “grave after-effects” are vastly overstated in the same way that any sort of paranoia spreads (i.e. by misunderstanding how probability works and trusting anecdotes over data). There are people dying or becoming seriously ill after being vaccinated, just like there are people dying and becoming seriously ill after watching TV or eating cauliflower or having sex. Are there rare cases where people suffer more severe side effects? That certainly seems possible; most of the time, some people are prone to side effects from just about anything and you simply have to weigh risk vs reward, benefits vs costs.
There are people who die from a reaction to anesthesia every year. And yet, there are still all sorts of situations where having surgery is STILL the best course of action. When I broke and displaced my thumb, as an otherwise very healthy young man (training with pro athletes on a daily basis and preparing for my own pro debut within the year, at the time the injury occurred), my parents, doctors and coaches had no qualms about me getting the surgery I needed to fix my thumb. And the surgery went fine, as it does 99.9% of the time in those instances. The rare instances where somebody never wakes up from anesthesia are horrible tragedies, but we don’t have a better system yet and we would have far more illness, chronic pain, disability and death otherwise.
Vaccines are a similar situation. I like that conservatives are skeptical of government interference and that they have the balls to question authority. That’s tremendously important. However, what I don’t like at all is how stupid the right can seem at times, when it comes to the acceptance of important knowledge & developments in science and technology…. I know that’s offensively blunt, but it’s also honest. As much as I despise the identity politics, assaults on free speech, assembly and due process, and interventionist (in both a global and domestic sense) policies of the left, I have to admit that the left in the modern-day US is simply more practical about technology and scientific progress, which is no small matter. That means, as much as I don’t like admitting this, that in a certain sense the left is simply more responsible with the future of the human race than at least a significant portion of the right. That really needs to change, because the right is ethically far superior, comprised of flat-out better people, understands human motivation much better and promotes better systems for society in the vast majority of instances. We NEED the right to win… but it can’t flunk science in the process. Yes, the left is unscientific about gender/trans issues, but that’s trivial in comparison. Climate change is debatable and in my view, at the very least, exaggerated as a danger by the left, but determining who’s right on climate is ultimately not all that relevant, because nuclear power is obviously the future either way (as it should be). So for the most part, the left has a huge edge on science-related issues and we need to change that.
I think Trump being responsible and level-headed enough to get the vaccine to market in record time (via funding and cutting red tape) and to be so committed to promoting vaccination, DESPITE knowing that position wouldn’t be popular with much of his base, is evidence that, despite the frustrating ignorance and superstitious nature of a significant portion of the GOP base, having a Republican POTUS doesn’t mean the nation is likely to make some colossal mistake that decimates or even destroys civilization due to ignorance, superstition or belief in conspiracy theories. However, the sort of resistance to vaccination you see on the right scares many intelligent people and dissuades them from switching parties. One of the smartest people I know, a self-made multimillionaire who came from serious poverty as a child, whom I often argue about politics with, said something revealing to me recently. In the midst of a political debate, during which, as always, we actually agreed on quite a bit but ultimately seemed to have different priorities, he stopped discussing whatever specific issue we were talking about and said to me, rather wistfully, that he was fully aware Republicans were, by and large, simply better, more ethical people than Democrats, but (his words) “Why does your side have to be so f—ing stupid that they FORCE me to vote for the a–holes?”
I obviously don’t agree with him. I was proud to vote for President Trump twice and strongly oppose the present-day Democrat party…. but I do understood where he was coming from. Vaccines are one of the greatest advances in the history of civilization. They’re not without risks, but nothing in life is. If you trust and respect President Trump, then do you really think he suddenly lost his mind on this one issue? Or do you think it’s possible you might be the one who’s off-base here? What would have motivated President Trump to be SO dedicated to a position that he KNEW would be unpopular with many of his supporters?
Well, perhaps he understood the issue better than they did and was determined to do the right thing, regardless of the cost, just as he has done throughout his Presidency? You might want to at least seriously consider that possibility, instead of just assuming you’re right about this, that the majority of the world’s most intelligent and scientifically knowledgeable people are either wrong about it or have evil motives AND that President Trump, whom I assume you have admired and supported for years now, suddenly lost his mind on this particular topic. Think about it this way: If you were analyzing somebody else’s opinion on an issue, without knowing too much about the issue itself or getting into the weeds on it, but just looking at who was on each side and how the two sides presented themselves and their arguments, wouldn’t it be really obvious that the correct side in this instance was the side—(which also happens to be President Trump’s side)—that supported vaccinations as a tremendously important scientific triumph that, like almost everything, came with some risks, but that was still overwhelmingly beneficial for society?
@ DV Meca — Thank you for your reply, much appreciated … Not an American myself, nonetheless have friends of longstanding in the USA and had discussed the fact that all over the world, one could say, due to circumstances often beyond their control to improve, the gross of the human population’s level of understanding of the vaccines, remain limited as their attention first and foremost, is engaged in the ongoing struggle to survive. Mostly good people, they also don’t have the resources to explore and find the truth either. However, Trump during his first term, had definitely improved their lives and opened the door to a future they’d already given up on ever enjoying. So naturally they voted for him again in 2020– thus, leading up to the election, they’d already become more politically aware in defence of President Trump and when the election was stolen from him, it hit them even harder, as they had truly come to love him. Of course, while most remained compliant with restrictions the pandemic placed on them initially, many commenced questioning the underlying motives of it all, when scientifically researched debate ensued in resistance and denunciation of it.
Been there done that, everyone knows the global train smash it subsequently dumped on people globally — the fear, panic, confusion, anger and rage that followed in resistance to it all. In the US, possibly the worst, because it also coincided with your elections. Now, after attempting to condense the flow of events above — when finally restrictions such as mandatory vaccinations and passports were added into the mix, it seems that the Trump supporters living on the breadline, are the ones who’re not able to understand why Trump is encouraging people to get the jab — jabs these people, due to the controversy re vaccines, which the Health Ranger especially, had warned about extensively … sent these people into a flat spin, they lost faith that Trump was on their side and in the future they were sure, was theirs under Trump.
So what I’m saying here DVM – is that, for the sake of those who don’t understand Trump’s reasons for supporting vaccinations – IMHO, Trump needs to bring them full understanding about the vaccines and spell out to them what is available and also, what he recommends — for then their confidence in the future will again return — they will know their president values their support and cares for where they come from.
This does not only apply to Americans supporting Trump, but to people across the world who support Trump too and beyond their support of him, the rights of all of humanity to have full access to information about vaccines and their side effects– which further, should they then choose not to be vaccinated, not to be discriminated against by limitations it would exercise on their futures, turning them into virtual prisoners without vaccine passports.
For definitely, when it comes to the most popular vaccines, with some of the world’s most respected and informed virologists and molecular scientists, based on medical research evidence – standing up in condemnation of specifically, the rMNA vaccines, the voices of these academics cannot and should not be ignored – as per the old adage, where there’s smoke, there’s a fire. So not because of what I am stating here, but in defence of humanity’s right to not only be fully informed, but by their inalienable human rights … to live free.
