This is the second in our series of CTH ground reports. With Treepers in every state, your information is actually a great insight into the political landscape.
Individual reports are obviously anecdotal; however, when they are compiled on a larger scale, and overlaid against the social media network we also follow, these ground reports have proven to be pretty darned accurate. Early voting has begun. If you have voted in person feel free to share your experience.
President Trump is surging at precisely the right moment. Momentum is building and you can see all across social media platforms the MAGA movement is pushing back against censorship. Massive boat parades and incredible vehicle parades both replete with flags and banners supporting our President.
Yard signs/banners are now out in force and the MAGA gear is visible everywhere. In the past week the latest viral platform videos are of Trump dancing; Trumpy dance and Tik-Tok duets. Good stuff. The biggest single attribute connecting all of these visible events is joy, fellowship and the visible spirit of a patriotic movement happy to stand with President Trump.
Tens-of-thousands for rallies and Trump events; and even surrogates for President Trump are drawing exponentially larger crowds than the democrat candidates.
The monster vote is awake and alive.

All visible support for President Trump is genuinely organic, grassroots and easily identifiable as not being politically coordinated. Conversely all media-focused support for Joe Biden -used to frame the current election narrative- is transparently astroturf, inorganic and easily identified as being contrived. There truly is a remarkable and easily witnessed distinction.
We have the best candidate. We have the best message. Our color-blind movement is optimistic and filled with patriotic joy. Massive numbers of Latinos; massive numbers of blacks; massive numbers of young voters. The confidence level is high.
Our opposition is shallow, reliant upon astroturf and media manipulation. Ignore the narrative engineers and join in fellowship. Live your best life. Put out the signs; wear the gear; engage with everyone; be openly optimistic and rally to the standard. We have got this if we want it…
Deserve MAGA victory !! Get your ass in the game, get serious, get everyone involved and register those who never voted before; remind everyone, and drive the MONSTER VOTE !!
So here’s the question… What do you see in your area?
What is the visible situation from your community and how does that contrast or align with the national narrative you are seeing as promoted by media?
How does the turnout look? What are you seeing in/around your neighborhood and polling place? If you have early voted in-person, what was turnout like?
Ground reports are a great way to get a *sense* of the election.

I live in the NE, one of those 70-30 states where Conservatives just do not get any traction. Met a neighbor out for a walk yesterday and she asked if I planned to watch the debate, and I answered yes and wished my candidate POTUS Trump the best. Well, she turned immediately into another person and launched that she could not believe that I would support him for all the reasons she could list in less than one minute. I answered that was my intention. We have known this woman and her husband for nearly 40 years and she thought nothing of ranting at me. So, I would remind all that our opposition is every bit as fired up as imaginable..We will need every vote possible I believe.
Dear Budklatch, I too am in NE, way TOO BLUE Connecticut, and I had a similar encounter this morning, but mine was with a very long time best friend, who ranted on about the terrible consequences seniors like us will encounter if President Trump somehow wins! I told her I have never felt as secure and have every bit of confidence in this election, but I do not want to bring this up ever again with her! I think SHE thinks everybody feels like she does, but NO! WAY!
Yes. It’s very much that way here in Philadelphia too. I think people from more conservative areas underestimate the power of TDS. Here, the afflicted feel they can speak freely. Back in 2016 when my mainstream conservative husband voted for Trump, based mostly on his anti Hillary mindset, he could articulate his motivations (i.e. he could list her corrupt acts and was concerned about the Supreme Court). But these TDS folks babble on about Orange Man Bad and just assume we all agree. I saw the longest voting lines I’ve ever seen in the 2018 midterms. I’m worried about Pennsylvania. There likely will be massive fraud coming out of Philadelphia.
On the plus side I have the sense the Black people are not as motivated this time around. Whenever I drive through working class Black neighborhoods there are signs telling people to “make a plan” to vote but not many Biden signs at all. Also on the plus side, I have a suspicion that some of the most Racist Blacks don’t trust Biden. On our street we’ve got a family where the mother is a Black Studies professor at Temple. This family, who had a Hillary sign, does not have a Biden sign. Instead, they’ve got signs that say “George Floyd 2020” “breonna Taylor 2020” “Philando Castile 2020” and at least one other in that vein. I’m hoping they go third party.
Aaahhhh, the tolerant Left.
Voted in Randolph County NC yesterday. We had driven by the day before in mid-afternoon but line was long. Line was long yesterday too at 9:15am but we were able to get through in about 30 minutes. There were multiple cars in the curbside voting line. Those people we saw while at the polling location were middle aged or young, teens to early 20’s. Only saw 2 black couples and 2 lone blacks, a few Hispanic. What I’ve been hearing from friends in various towns/counties is that there are lines everywhere. The # of votes cast has set records already since early voting began Oct. 15.
Thom Tillis keeps saying in his emails wanting donations that more Democrats are casting votes than Republicans. I know several of my friends are waiting to vote on election day.
Saw a news article from Tuesday that 25% of NC registered voters have voted!
I voted in North East Florida today. The polling location was active although it was raining. All signs point to Trump carrying this region by large margins and I believe Florida as a whole.
Ground report in NC:

‘nuff said!
True The Vote has a great election integrity website https://www.electionintegrityhotline.org or you can call 8557020702 to report election fraud or manipulation. All clean in ut mormonland, other than self-righteous magic pants pierre detestable had to publicize he didn’t vote for Trump. The globalist we all love to hate and no one knows how he got elected. .
Long lines but moving smoothly. Even more remarkable since the all the personnel at the Supervisor of Elections office are now out with Covid19. Looks like they’ll be back by Friday next week.
Went to early voting today in Brevard County, East Central Florida on Florida’s Space Coast.
Line moved right along about a 15 minute wait.
On the road leading up to the polling place the candidates had all their supporters waving at the traffic.
Passed the Trump tent with about 2 dozen supporters wildly waving flags and interacting with horn honks. They were really having fun.
A little further down the road the Biden tent two older ladies sitting in chairs talking to each other.
It’s a lot more fun to be a Trump fan.
Pacific Northwest usually a 60/40 democrat outcome, hopeful to see change of Governor. Police Chief Loren Culp has a good chance to unseat the reprehensible Inslee and save us from total disaster. Whatcom Co.is a vote by mail area, so no exciting encounters on the way to the polling station any more. Subdued signage on private property noted, signs mostly appear along stretches of the I5.
Western WA U students not in town due to covid restrictions ,might influence Whatcom Co. results….
Part One.
I voted in September so I could be free to help out on Election Day. Seriously, if you can volunteer on Election Day PLEASE do so, even if only for an hour or two. Every precinct needs poll watchers and greeters. Believe it or not we still have undecided and Independents that need help figuring out who to vote for. A friendly smile w/patience to splain things can and will sway a vote to our side.
And here in VA we have two amendments that need to be explained to people BEFORE they vote. Get involved. Do your civic and patriotic duty for Trump! We need a CLEAR LANDSLIDE. They have already told us not to expect a complete tally until Nov.9th. UGH.
And it is still not too late to do some phone calls. You can do them from your recliner.
If you can early vote in person, do it. The lines will be long on the 3rd, and the cities will enforce social distancing which will make the lines look even longer, and that will discourage some people, especially those w/weather going on.
Part Two.
So far over 4,000 people have already voted in my county. I live in a very rural area and I am seeing more Democrat signs than I want. W/that said, some of my strategically placed Trump signs have been stolen. Thieves will leave the Senate and Congressional signs alone, but steal the Trump signs. Boogers on them.
I live in a critical congressional district and I am a tad disappointed the Trump people did not send in a big gun to give our candidate a big push here at the end. But I get it, so many states, so little time.
I am also very disappointed in my local GOP and the lack of volunteers. It’s the same people doing all the work, while the rest slack for THE MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION of our life time. Pisses me off.
Every weekend for the last month, and still going for the next two weekends are Trump car trains throughout the region. Some have been a success, others not so much. There have been many local land rallies and Back the Blue type events and all that I have attended have had great turnouts.
Alamance County (central NC) Voted 1st day of early voting Oct15. Longest line I have seen. Took us three hours but it was satisfying seeing so many MAGA voters. Our Tyrant Governor still has us on lock down. Most here go about their lives but most are mask wearers.
The danger is not in early voting, it’s in post election counting of mail votes.
Was in Garrett County, MD, which is in the westernmost part of the state, about two hours south of Pittsburgh and one hour east of Morgantown, West Virginia. What’s that was the number of Trump/Pence signs in their location. Obviously, people are not likely anticipating Maryland itself is going to flip, but there appears to be enthusiasm based on the number of people displaying large signs and flags.
The other telling thing is that I recall seeing a grand total of three Biden signs, but none of them appeared to be at a residence versus being placed on random sections of road. Maybe the deer or the ticks on the deer are pulling for Biden so that every hunting implement is outlawed.
Oak Park IL – Predominately Democrat Liberal Left wing town west of Chicago. Biden/Harris signs are up with the BLM signs – me thinks that the hatred of President Trump supersedes the support of Biden. First day of early vote, a line around the village hall and down the block with a wait time of 5+ hours. It has settled to a one and half to two hour wait at this point. Saw the the line and asked a poll worker where is the alternate site for voting is. The volunteer informed me that
Cook County Maybrook Court in Maywood IL 2 miles west of Oak Park has a wait time of 20 to 30 minutes! Not wanting to wait with a group of seething hate and rage around me, I drove the 12 minutes to the courthouse, waited 20 minutes and voted straight R. Never felt better……
I lived in Oak Park before moving to a refreshingly conservative suburb in Lake County. Next to Antioch where Kyle Ritterhouse will hopefully be free to return to. So glad I left that bastion of trendy virtue signaling liberal zombies in the rear-view mirror. The progressives tried to plant their flag in Lake county politics in 2018 by running a bunch of hope and change charlatans, but failed miserably. They tried to hide their radical agenda, but their “Hate has no Home Here” political signs were a dead give away. A lot of Trump and/or signs for republicans out here. Was in Highwood recently, affluent area in cook county, nearly puked at the sight of so many Biden/Willie’s Ho signs. Voted early and in person for Trump, waited two hours in 33 degrees, was only one not wearing a mask while standing outside.
MASS CONFUSION IN HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY FL.
am reporting from the early voting site on Providence Road in Hillsborough County FL. It is 9 a.m. As I approached I was told that the voting machines are down. The man in front of me said that he came here from the Bloomingdale Library site because their machines are down and these are running. No they are not. Then someone said the whole county
machines were down. Someone else said Riverview library is open. One official said they have one slow machine we can use but it takes 5 minutes to vote.
FOLLOWUP REPORT FROM HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY FL
I asked an official at the door if this (voting machines down) has happened before. He replied, ” Yes, it happened during the Primary.”
We were offered the opportunity to vote on one working machine, called the “express” machine. I am told it is for people with physical impairments and the machine is slow. Most voters who showed up waited to use that machine rather than come back.
Western South Carolina.
Went into the grocery store yesterday – our mask mandate runs to November 13 – and caught this exchange:
Cashier (Latina, 40 +/-): I just put mine in the dishwasher.
Clerk (Caucasian 20 +/-): You wash your mask in the dishwasher?
Cashier: You bet. I’m not doing laundry every other day just to wash a mask. And I am not buying another one.
Clerk: I don’t really wash mine anymore. And I only wear it to make other people comfortable; I know it doesn’t really work.
Cashier: After the election, mine goes in the trash. I am so done with this.
We were all laughing, then the cashier gave me my change.
In my part the state, odds are good they are both Trump supporters. Either way, I am hoping for a major backlash against the mask and other restrictions come November 4.
I voted for something radical yesterday.
I live in a small conservative city in Central Oregon. I dropped off my ballot yesterday in our only drop box in town and there were people in front of me. Not really a line but I wasn’t the lone ranger. We’ve had our ballots for a week and I needed to research some local candidates which turned up a few lefties so im glad I did. We are remote voters by law in Oregon. Last time I voted in Bend, which is another county and its going blue so I was unsettled. But this time I felt more secure about my vote being in a red county. The only county initiative on the ballot was a law requiring commissioners to meet 4 times each year to explore moving the Oregon-Idaho state line. Upon further reading I realized they meant moving it to the western boundary of our county. The state line is a 5 hour+ drive east at this point. There is talk of “Greater Idaho” which entails Idaho absorbing parts of Central and Eastern Washington and Oregon as well as parts of Northern California. So it looks like they want
Want to talk about it. I voted yes. Let’s see what 5hat looks like.
Northampton County PA , we have many more Biden signs than Hillary signs in 2016. That said, we also have many more Trump signs this year, and they are getting stolen and spray painted. I started with two signs, and after they were stolen I bought eight more. I think we have Marxist Bernie thugs hunting Trump signs. In 2016, the communist thug Bernie was more popular than Hillary in this county. The good thing, I now know what neighbors are voting for Biden, and when lose their job and get foreclosed on the house with a Biden win, I can congratulate them on their stupidity, and tell them I’m so sorry Biden got elected and ruined their life.
East Texas, here. Rural, lightly populated county. The line at the polling station was the longest I’ve ever seen out here, but the poll workers had an efficient system set up – was in and out in about 25 minutes. Most of us out here are enthusiastic Trump supporters. I’ve only seen two Biden signs and I drive daily from my small town to a small city.
We wanted to wait until election day, but decided to vote early so we didn’t have to stand in a long line. 11;30 in the morning on Thursday and we were the only ones there. Johnson county Texas.
Placed my ballot in drop box in northern Colorado. no lines, everybody got ballots by mail, plenty of drop boxes everywhere. Voted for trump, gardner, yes to amendment to colo constitution requiring voters be citizens, no to required paid family leave, yes to prohibiting abortion after 22 weeks, no to replacement of elec college with popular vote. seeing more and more trump/back the blue signs! placed in windows to avoid dems stealing them. still only seen 2 biden signs!
Scary wildfires exploding rapidly, Sky is horrific brown/orange, looks like nighttime, ash in air, structures being destroyed, people forced to evacuate, and hickenlooper is yammering about climate change, but gardner still upbeat and positive, — I think gardner is sadly missing opportunity to hit hickenlooper hard for his poor forest management as governor
I went for a last fall ride through VT with a buddy and just from signs in the mid NH/VT area, there are several towns which are all in on Biden. Interestingly you rarely see an American flag flying on houses which are lefty. There are pockets of Trump supporters, but the more leftist college towns are terrified of covid and look mostly deserted. More rural areas outside of college towns have back the blue flags flying.
VT looks 70/30 D just like last 2016. Though it is only across the river, it is a poorer state, and many towns could use a coat of paint. Or two. Yet they cannot figure out that the socialist polices for which they vote are the cause. Pot is legal, though, so that may help keep post election violence down. I hope it does, anyway,
Trump Train scheduled to travel from Tremonton Utah south to St George Utah, driving south on I15 this Saturday (24th) 365 miles or so. Last weekend our little town (Cedar City had an 806 vehicle train down our Main Street) Lots of support here in Southern Utah!!!!
We will be dropping our ballots off next week. Trump2020!
Was out talking to some neighbors, they being in the senior category, in Ohio. 6 of them, all life long Republicans. 3 of them were mad at Trump for his demeanor, and said he was dividing the country. Two had already voted, and one said he couldn’t vote for Biden, but only because of Kamala Harris. I was dismayed by how they basically turned into a single issue voter against Trump.
Indianapolis report: Early voting has been available in downtown Indianapolis for a couple of weeks. Satellite early voting locations opened today. My son & I arrived at 9:30 for 10 am open and the parking lots were full with only off steer parking and a line that was 3-4 people wide (families & friends) and literally one mile long. It has probably doubled since we first arrived.
Indianapolis/Marion County is very blue with many BLM & Biden/Harris signs & Dem downstream offices signs (but not as many as 2016).
It’s a chilly 44 degrees out and I see young (Families & college aged) and old (with canes, walkers, chairs) bundled up and braving the long wait. Very mixed area racially, so not surprised to see about 1/3 of the line are Black with same mix, young, old, families, college aged.
Been in line a little over an hour and the line has barely moved.
#Trump2020Landslide
Update: Total time in line to vote 6.5 hours. When we left at 4:30pm, there were still hundreds of people in line with more coming. I read some neighbors voted as late as 9:15pm. 4 young ladies in front of us were all 1st time voters and were excited to be there. I didn’t ask who they were voting for as most of the folks around us were clearly hoping to flip Indiana blue.
I voted a Straight Republican ticket for the first time in my life.
Ground report from the great Central Valley in California … Trump Parade starting in Modesto and traveling south on the 99 freeway picking up Trumpers proudly flying their flags in support of out great PRESIDENT driving all the way to Bakerfield! We may not flip this state to red but purple is in our sight. Thousands of car/trucks, supports on frontage roads, overpasses a beautiful sight to see.

What I saw today filled my heart with pride. Deep in the heart of blue New Mexico I saw a very large Trump train of cars and pickups, plenty of flags, lots of honking supporters, it was beautiful. The guys next to me at the quick stop we’re excited and proud to watch it as well, talking up the excitement. It sure would be great if all us N.M. Trump supporters could carry the state.
Granville County, NC (near the Virginia border) voted in person today straight Republican ticket. Got right in at 3:30 pm, very quick process. Proudly voted for President Trump. First day of early voting, Oct 15 the line was hours long all day; 4800 people have voted here so far. Only one small Trump-Pence sign; his opponent had a couple of largeish signs, but around town and out in the county there are HUGE almost billboard size Trump-Pence signs AND a campaigner for PTrump came to my door a couple of weeks ago — a black man. (I am white). I said I was happy to meet a fellow Trump supporter. He said, “You’d be surprised how many of us there are in this area — but we are quiet.” America is waking up! MAGA
Western NC..a surge of support never seen before…this is blue land but the blues are cowering and defensive..never seen before in this blue town…but must be careful as Dems are desperate and evil…called police on me for holding up my Trump flag in town square…guess what? Police man told be to keep social distance from idiot (which I already doing…I do not wear a mask)…and otherwise no problem..we are surging in NC.
Northeast San Antonio, Texas, inside the loop. Upper middle class area has Democrat to Republican signs at 60/40. As you go deeper into the ultra rich part of town, there isn’t a Trump sign to be seen. The local polling place has been packed all week long.
Living Williamston Michigan close to the Capitol Lansing. Been watching three different precincts long lines most of the time at all three signs of a massive voter turnout in this area
