Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

That’s very cool, but I can’t visualize Patrick Swayze with his arms around Demi Moore doing this….
Maybe not, GB, but his pinkie fingers might be doing some interesting things…

Owl Kitty strikes again!
I can visualize MY arms around her.

Bari,
Seems like the got a couple more folks that Joe has had recently! = )
Have a great Sunday!

Please exchange “that” for “than”, my computer and I are fighting! I think we are breaking up.
It’s not her fault, it is mine since I have been shopping for a new one, and playing 10cc’s, I’m not in Love, as I do so.
Sorry about that!
Does The Word Of God Contradict Itself?
By Pastor Paul M. Sadler
Satan has sought to undermine the authority of the Word of God since the beginning. He whispered to Eve, “Yea, hath God said,” suggesting God was withholding something from our first parents. But more often than not his attacks are far more subtle. The liberal, for example, would have us believe the Scriptures contradict themselves; therefore they cannot be trusted. This is nothing more than an attempt to cast a shadow of doubt upon the veracity of God’s Word.
Despite the claims of the liberal, God never contradicts Himself. He’s omniscient! He knows the end from the beginning; how could He possibly contradict Himself? When we’re confronted with an alleged contradiction, the problem isn’t with the Word of God; rather, it’s with our understanding of the Scriptures. Most times there is a simple solution to the problem.
The account of Judas’ death is often appealed to as a glaring contradiction:
“And he [Judas] cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself” (Matt. 27:5).
“Now this man [Judas] purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out” (Acts 1:18).
We believe the Acts record is merely an augmentation of Matthew’s account of Judas’ dishonorable end. After Judas hanged himself, either the limb or rope broke, and since the top part of the body is heavier than the lower extremity, he fell headlong to the bottom of the ravine where his body burst open upon striking the jagged rocks.
Another supposed contradiction is found in Paul’s letter to the Corinthians:
“Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand” (I Cor. 10:8).
“And those that died in the plague were twenty and four thousand” (Num. 25:9).
Once again, Paul’s account of the plague is simply a fuller description of what actually transpired during the wilderness wanderings. The key is found in the apostle’s words, “and fell in one day.” Paul reveals 23,000 died in this judgment on the same day, but according to Numbers, the total number of Israelites that perished, which included the days that followed, was 24,000. The apostle was merely emphasizing the seriousness of committing fornication, by showing how many fell in one day.
While these two purported contradictions are easily resolved, this is not always necessarily the case. In those areas where we are unable to adequately address a discrepancy, we must patiently wait upon the Lord for additional light, which may not be given until eternity.

To the Reader:
Some of our Two Minutes articles were written many years ago by Pastor C. R. Stam for publication in newspapers. When many of these articles were later compiled in book form, Pastor Stam wrote this word of explanation in the Preface:
“It should be borne in mind that the newspaper column, Two Minutes With the Bible, has now been published for many years, so that local, national and international events are discussed as if they occurred only recently. Rather than rewrite or date such articles, we have left them just as they were when first published. This, we felt, would add to the interest, especially since our readers understand that they first appeared as newspaper articles.”
To this we would add that the same is true for the articles written by others that we continue to add, on a regular basis, to the Two Minutes library. We hope that you’ll agree that while some of the references in these articles are dated, the spiritual truths taught therein are timeless.
Glenn Beck presents conclusive evidence of the current Color Revolution / coming Civil War that the USA is in the midst of right now.
We’re being set up for a civil war. The Left is grooming us for an Eastern European-style revolution this election, and they’re not even trying to hide it any more. The playbook for Mainstreet USA is the exact same that has been used in places like Ukraine, initiated by the same people in order to completely upend the American system. Glenn takes us through a tale of three chalkboards that will connect the dots: the Obama admin in Ukraine, the State Department’s relationship with George Soros, Black Lives Matter and Antifa riots, the Great Reset, public school indoctrination, mail-in voting. It all points to something dangerous happening in November if we don’t act now.
The Insurrection Act of 1807. Note that the act specifically mentions that it is lawful for the President to “call forth the militia for the purpose of suppressing such insurrection . . .”. The Insurrection Act aligns with the unambiguous wording of the 2nd Amendment which specifically states that the purpose of an armed citizenry is to defend against tyranny. What the revolutionary left appears to have forgotten, is that America’s founders were themselves revolutionaries who clearly understood that “we could have a republic only if we could keep it”.
An Act authorizing the employment of the land and naval forces of the United States, in cases of insurrections
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That in all cases of insurrection, or obstruction to the laws, either of the United States, or of any individual state or territory, where it is lawful for the President of the United States to call forth the militia for the purpose of suppressing such insurrection, or of causing the laws to be duly executed, it shall be lawful for him to employ, for the same purposes, such part of the land or naval force of the United States, as shall be judged necessary, having first observed all the pre-requisites of the law in that respect.
APPROVED, March 3, 1807.
Just sayin’ . . .
Not an issue, the common DC definition of the ‘militia’ mentioned in the 2nd Amendment is taken to be the states’ National Guard units. Now that’s only an interpretation but it’s got modern precedent as both Eisenhower and Kennedy nationalized the Guard during the Civil Rights struggle.
The nationalization of the Guard is a thorny and legally subjective issue that, when used, either has wide public support and/or agreement or has been worked out with the officials in the state whose Guard is being mobilized. You can bet that were a ‘civil war’ to start the Feds would activate the states’ Guard units that were ‘in a state of rebellion’ and neutralize their abilities to ‘respond’. You can bet your bippie that the Pentagon has a contingency plan in effect to neutralize the ability of the Guard in any state(s) in case of a rebellion just to ensure that Federal response and control will not be interfered with.
The Democrats don’t trust the military so they’re following the basic tactics of all previous successful coup plotters and neutralizing it as a counter-reactive force, the Guard is an outlying factor as its usually under the control of a state governor and its loyalty is mostly to the state. US is sort of unique in the Guard concept so the regular revolutionary tactics have to be adjusted. The activation of the Guard is still a heavily grey area, sort of a 3rd rail no one wants to jump on, and any activation without a good bit of agreement on all sides is sure to set up monumental court battles.
You could argue that but the revolutionary era militias were much more “armed citizen” in context than “military”. At the time of the revolution “militia” consisted of local groups of armed men who could come together to fight when needed. Contemporary groups calling themselves “militia” reflect this traditional definition.
Forgot to mention: The 1807 Insurrection Act specifically separates “militia” from “land or naval” forces. I take this to mean that, in 1807, militias were not part of the American military but could come into existence when needed.
The ones who’d argue it would be the lawyers and the judges would make the decisions. More and more Prog judges are taking that ‘National Guard’ stand and the Guard using the Minuteman as a logo doesn’t help.
On the other side there are several states that also have named ‘militia’aside from the Guard
and they basically back into the Guard slots in case of an emergency if needed when the Guard is mobilized. They heavily consist of vets and retired military and DoD has even taken that contingency into consideration by saying that any military member of any age who is retired or drawing a military check is still a member of the military and can not only be recalled to active duty but also court martial them under the UCMJ for civilian crimes they commit after retirement. That would go a long way to quashing the ‘militia’ that still exists and quite possibly open the door for retirees/those receiving disabilities to be court-martialed for political activities…ain’t happened yet but DoD has also refused to rule that out.
Those contingency plans are out there.
As usual, you nailed it.
The level of fear and control over vets is ridiculous, dark, and sick. Once they have left, they should be left alone to live as they wish, but this is the “modern DOD”, and they are progressive. This is a travesty and a nightmare that no one who served should even have to think about.
Thanks for your response to the post. It got me thinking, but I do not wish to continue ranting.
We are going to need retired JAG to protect our vets.
SOTUS already ruled that the DoD can take retirees of any status, any degree of disability or any age and court-martial them for civilian crimes, convicted of that civilian crime or not, effectively sinking a knife into double jeopardy. It’s akin to how you can be found ‘not guilty’ on a crime instate court and have DoJ come after you on it as a civil rights violation.
Just stinks all the way around.
Yes, I knew you wrote on this topic before, but for some reason I was not putting 2 and 2 together in my head, so I kept quite. If I recall correctly, you had a link, but for some reason I just could not wrap my head around the information.
Honestly, I am thankful you brought it up, but unhappy by the very notion of it. The contract is signed at enlistment and ends at discharge. They can do whatever they want with you in between (including pump you full of vaccines that they do not have a clear read on), but then it needs to end when the term of service ends.
Not quite sure where this is all headed, and I am saddened by the acceptance of such a draconian idea.
As always, thanks for helping me learn.
Doubtful that plan works here – the vast majority of Americans are not disconnected groups as described. The actual population involved in subversion is less than 1% of the population with over 50% of the population armed and ready to take them down.
Let’s just all trust PDT and the patriots. As PDT says, when riots start they can put them down in less than an hour. Believe him. He’s underway with reclaiming the schools and the mail in voting scam will be handled in the coming weeks.
Thank you tradebait for that encouraging comment. These are anxious times, and I can get overwhelmed and scared quite often. Your words bring comfort to me, and other CTH readers I’m sure.
Often I wonder if it is a good thing to be informed, as with it comes said anxiety and fear. Or should I be like most of my family and go on about with life not knowing what’s going on ‘underneath’, as sundance depicts in scary photo of roots under washington dc.
Two of my brothers are happy as larks: working, maintaining their property, camping , all along not really paying too much attention to news at all. One has kids, one doesn’t.

You are inor around NOLA. WeeWeed is in your state? Thought WeeWeed was in East Texas. Just worried I am becoming like Joe. ?
Please tell me I just misunderstood and the world is okay or I am completely losing it.
As always, you have my friendship and gratitude.
Best…
I was in NOLA but now live in Southern Mississippi and still have property in NOLA that I visit and pay taxes on…mostly to see if the city has actually done anything beneficial with those taxes. Weed is in Louisiana, ex-of-Tex, we share a common level of frustration-turned-to-sarcasm born of having live in Louisiana.
My friend, thanks!
Unfortunately, I am one of those people who constantly kicks himself if he gets this type of stuff wrong. I was raised to pay attention to folks and honor them through listening.
Further, I was taught to immediately, correct any misinformation so as to right a ship going off course, because it can lead to greater confusion and misunderstanding.
Yesterday, I went off course, and until I had seen you back last night, I was not sure who to ask for help with a correction. As always, you are a big help in getting me straight and I remain appreciative.
Again, many thanks.
Now Mississippi, been there once if I recall correctly (again in the 1990s that is when I traveled the nation a lot for work, which we can talk about some other time). Unfortunately, I recall humidity (1st) and the capital building (2nd) the most from a visit to Jackson. Honestly, I think I was there for an overnight and then was gone the next day (around August).
People were nice and that capital building is impressive looking.

Those Boogaloo Boys, right?
Oh yeah, you had to pick the one with the Hawaiian camouflage. Donny looks the most dangerous in this group!

Stephen F. Cohen died yesterday. He was a contributing editor to The Nation and married to its former editor Katrina vanden Heuvel. He was a big-time liberal, but he was also a continual critic of the Trump-Russia paranoia that gripped the Left. He was one of the few honest liberals. RIP.
Wow.
I listened to him for many hours on the John Batchelor show. And, yes, he fought against the Russia madness that gripped the nation. And he said he did so at great cost to himself.
Renaissance – Kings and Queens (1970)
A much different group than when the hit the big time for a short while in the US with a completely different lineup with Annie Haslam singing. I saw the the “famous” Annie Haslam version play at a dinner theater called Club Bene. Anyway, this version of the group has an interesting lineage back to the Yardbirds.
From the video description:
“Renaissance are an English progressive rock band, best known for their 1978 UK top 10 hit “Northern Lights” and progressive rock classics like “Carpet of the Sun”, “Mother Russia”, and “Ashes Are Burning”. They developed a unique sound, combining a female lead vocal with a fusion of classical, folk, rock, and jazz influences. Characteristic elements of the Renaissance sound are Annie Haslam’s wide vocal range, prominent piano accompaniment, orchestral arrangements, vocal harmonies, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, synthesiser, and versatile drum work. The band created a significant following in the northeast United States in the 1970s, and that region remains their strongest fan base.
The original line-up included two former members of The Yardbirds, Keith Relf and Jim McCarty, along with John Hawken, Louis Cennamo and Relf’s sister Jane Relf. They intended to put “something together with more of a classical influence”. Renaissance was born, and the band released a studio album in 1969, and another in 1971. Subsequently, John Tout replaced Hawken on keyboards, followed by a period of high turnover of musicians until the “classic line-up” of Haslam, John Tout, Michael Dunford, Jon Camp, and Terry Sullivan was established, although none of them were in the original band. They were assisted with lyrics on many songs from Cornish poet Betty Thatcher-Newsinger. From 1972 to 1979 Renaissance released seven successful studio albums, toured extensively, and sold out three nights in a row at Carnegie Hall with Tony Cox conducting the New York Philharmonic.

putting an ad in the middle of a song is f&@$#% up, youtube ?
I didn’t even know. I admit I pay google for an ad-free existence on youtube. I spend a lot of time on there.
Annie, if you can, get “U Block ORIGIN” for your browser. I think hubby said “it’s an extension, sometimes called an add-on.” (obviously, hubby does the pewter stuff at this house, lol).
It completely blocks ads in youtube videos and almost everywhere else, too.
It has to be the U Block ORIGIN – someone made a knock off and called it U Block and THAT ONE is not nearly as good.
Hope that helps you and others.
🙂
thank you for the info mandy ?
Mr. Smith,
Never heard of this band before, and I am thankful you have made me aware of them.
Best,
Simple Citizen
I can’t tell you how excited I am to see someone else singing (pun intended?) the praises of Renaissance, and the incredibly rare talent of Annie Haslam. Saying she has a “wide vocal range” is like saying, “Yeah, Tiger Woods is a pretty good golfer.” She is one of the few individuals on Earth that has a 5-octave range, matched only by legends like Julie Andrews and Shirley Bassey.
I first caught Renaissance in the late 70’s when I first heard “Rajah Khan” from their album “Prologue.” Over the years, I’ve accumulated more till now, when I have pretty much everything they did.
Allison Steele on WNEW introduced them to me. I More often listened to WPLJ because they played the Classic Rock “hits” while WNEW went into the deep cuts.
I only ran into one other person in real life where I had the opportunity to speak about Renaissance. Around 1993, I needed a car to be towed about 40 minutes to a dealer for service. While I was in the tow truck for the ride back, a Yes song came on the radio. That started a prog rock talk that led to Renaissance.
I always struggle with the problem of which one song to introduce to a new listener that encapsulates the essence of Renaissance. But I can’t pick just one because if you don’t like, for example, “Can You Hear Me,” then you can go over here and listen to “Kiev,” which is an exquisite song but it’s totally different from “Can You Hear Me.”
Another overlooked art rock/prog rock group I like is Starcastle, from somewhere in the Midwest I believe. I always jokingly referred to them as a “Yes with lyrics that make sense.”
Couple weeks old already, but – hey – good times!

I was just scrolling through the latest headlines on my phone. One mentioned “Trump’s Dementia & his ADD & how hard…” I didn’t open the article.
My Mom has ADD. Not formally diagnosed, but I didn’t learn how to unload a dishwasher from her! She’s always stacked everything onto the counters, before getting a phone call, then using a computer, and from there moving on to laundry, before realizing there’s a mess in her kitchen.
President Trump doesn’t struggle with tasks. He has dealt with them. Already. Problems… He’s working on them.
I thought it was funny to add A.D.D. into Sleepy Joe’s dementia projection for President Trump.

Truckers report;
First off Cali the beagle is doing great. Has the cone of shame off now and is her usual bouncy mischievous self though her endurance is still down a bit.
First run: Out at 05:00 Monday morning bound for Crawfordsville, IN with an empty trailer. At Stant Corporation I was loaded with auto parts. Took the parts up to Spring Lake, MI which is off I-96 west of Grand Rapids near the shore of Lake Michigan. Delivered the parts there and then was loaded with parts bound for the plant in Crawfordsville.
Took my 10 hour break at a rest area off I-96 west of Grand Rapids. Had a couple more hours to drive when I pulled in but because of traffic and construction I deemed it more efficient to stop early for my break and pass through the Kalamazoo area in the early morning hours. Worked out well.
Delivered to Crawfordsville, then took the empty trailer back to the yard in Anderson, IN. Dropped the trailer, fueled the truck and went home.
Second run: Departed Anderson at 10:00 Wednesday with an empty trailer. Took the trailer to Dunkirk, IN and dropped it then hooked to a trailer preloaded with new empty glass jars as you EaSmucker’s mixed peanut butter and Jelly sold in. These loads are heavy. They run about 42,000 lb.
This load didn’t deliver directly to Smucker’s but instead went to a warehouse a few miles away from the Smucker’s plant in the hills of north central PA. So it was up US 35 to catch US 27 then turn east on US 224 to US 30 to Mansfield, OH where I got on I-71 north to I-76east to I-80 east. Took my 10 hour break at a rest stop on I-80 then drove on in arriving at the warehouse 15 minutes before my 07:00 appointment.
After I backed into the door to be unloaded that guy came out and said that the Bill of Lading was incorrect but the jars in the trailer were correct. IOW the shipping clerk at Dunkirk had me hook to the correct trailer but had given me the wrong bills.
The guy gave me their fax number and email so I could call back to my company and have them get Dunkirk to send the correct Bill of Lading. He told me he would not unload me until he had the correct BOL.
I made the necessary phone calls and gave them the right info for transmitting the bills and told them I would not be unloaded until the consignee received the correct BOL.
I called once an hour and was told each time “we’re working on it”. Finally after 5 1/2 hours I called and told them if they didn’t get me out of here in the next hour I would not have the duty hours to do the two pickups I was scheduled for that day. In less than 1/2 hour they had the correct bills.
Once unloaded I took the empty trailer to Phillipsburg, PA and picked up a few pallets of auto parts and then on up to Ridgeway, PA where they loaded me with 17 pallets of sintered metal auto parts. The place at Ridgeway has truck parking so I took my 10 hour break there. They at least have porta potties for the drivers. When I woke up my fuel gage read empty when I should have had 1/2 my fuel left.
I went out in the dark with my flash light and found a reed and sticked the larger right tank and sure enough it was about 1/2 full. The fuel sensor was malfunctioning. I turned the truck off and turned off the master power switch and sat for a few minutes then turned it back on and started the truck. That resets all the digital sensors. The fuel gage read 1/2 as it should have.
I delivered the load to the terminal in Vandalia, OH and then took the empty trailer back to Anderson, IN and dropped it. I fueled the truck and did a very complete inspection of it, added some oil. drained water from the DAVCO fuel filter, purged the water from the four air tanks, etc. Then I took the time to do some cleaning on the inside. I walked into the house at 14:30. So another week with a day of OT pay.
Glad cali’s doing good, rah!
Interesting road stories; I enjoy reading them.
This week starting Monday at 19:00 I will be teaming doing a two stop milk run with stops in Seward and Lincoln, NE then running down to Peoria to meet a relay driver that we will trade trailers and paperwork with. Will do that cycle until Friday when we bring the Nebraska load back to the yard in Anderson, IN. So once again it will be another week with an OT day.
I hate teaming but it part of the job.
Mornin’ infidels!
https://twitter.com/BuCap004/status/1307378139627126793
Top of the morning to you WeeWeed.
Your down in Florida right? According to Joe Bastardi it looks like S. Florida may be in for some nasty weather in a week or so.
Joe is also saying there will be another round of fires out west in October driven by Santa Anna winds.
Ya know. What Trumps success is based on is finding ways to solve problems that those practicing the conventional DC “wisdom” have failed to be able to address for decades or problems that the elite establishment in DC have not wanted to address at all.
Mornin’ Rah! Nah, I’m in Louisiana – we already got our dose this year and hopefully no more.
I’m afraid WeeWeed that you all aren’t out of the woods yet. Though the African wave train will get very quiet in a week or so, it’s looking like the Caribbean is going be firing up this later part of the season. Nothing unusual about that. Some of the nastiest hurricanes in history came out of the Caribbean. Wilma formed in the Caribbean. But at least we’re past the historical peak of the hurricane season which is Sept. 11th.
Mornin’ Wee Weed!
Great day to be an infidel!
Sorry, I thought you were in Texas this whole time. Hence, my questions to you about Texas (the California exodus) and Mr. Marrs (as he was a Texan).
Real sorry for my total confusion.
Please have a great Sunday, and know I am praying for you and yours!
Mornin’ Citizen!
I thought Texas, too – so you were not alone!
Thanks Infidel; I am appreciative.
Also, always good to see you here. Happy Sunday.
Mornin’ WeeWeed
Mornin’ DI!
Looks like you’re gonna be gettin’ some dis endless drizzle we haz and will has fer the next few days. Enjoy!
Mornin’ Z’s! That’s what I hear….
That’s what I’m sweeping off the patio.
G’Evenin Ms WeeWeed
?
Thanks WeeWeed. Best video I’ve seen all day, thanks 🙂
Horses just add something special.
The Saudi Arabian reception with all the horses comes to mind
Yesterday, my 6 y/o granddaughter asked “Will you take me to the park?”
“Sure!” I answered. So, we loaded up some beverages and toys in her new school backpack with the Wolf on the back, and started walking.
At first she was her usual self, chattering away about this and that. But then she got quiet for a minute or two, before resuming in a more serious tone:
Her: (flatly) “God is real.”
Me: “I never said he wasn’t”
Her: “God made me”
Me: (smiling) “Yes, he certainly did.”
Her: “God made you, too.”
Me: “I sure hope so!”
Her: “Really. He did! And he made Mommy, and Bubba and Dexter… EVERYBODY.”
Me: “He was really busy!”
Her:”Yeah. He got lonely after all the dinosaurs died.”
And there you have it. Mystery solved….
Beautiful! Thank you.
Very funny!
Thanks.
THE DIVINE RULE OF LIFE
“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect.” Matthew v. 48
Our Lord’s exhortation in these verses is to be generous in our behaviour to all men. In the spiritual life beware of walking according to natural affinities. Everyone has natural affinities; some people we like and others we do not like. We must never let those likes and dislikes rule in our Christian life. “If we walk in the light as God is in the light,” God will give us communion with people for whom we have no natural affinity.
The Example Our Lord gives us is not that of a good man, or even of a good Christian, but of God Himself. “Be ye therefore perfect even as your Father in heaven is perfect,” show to the other man what God has shown to you; and God will give us ample opportunities in actual life to prove whether we are perfect as our Father in heaven is perfect. To be a disciple means that we deliberately identify ourselves with God’s interest in other people. “That ye love one another; as I have loved you…”
The expression of Christian character is not good doing, but God-likeness. If the Spirit of God has transformed you within, you will exhibit Divine characteristics in your life, not good human characteristics. God’s life in us expresses itself as GOD’s life, not a human life trying to be godly. The secret of a Christian is that the supernatural is made natural in him by the grace of God, and the experience of this works out in the practical details of life, not in times of communion with God. When we come in contact with things that create a buzz, we find to our amazement that we have power to keep wonderfully poised in the centre of it all.

September 20th Devotional
Wonderful to read and consider. Thank you.
Start Right Here
https://www.raptureready.com/2020/09/18/start-right-here-by-dennis-huebshman/
FTA: “Every sign of our being taken up (Rapture) is present today. Prior to Israel becoming a nation once again on May 14, 1948, there was still much that had to be fulfilled. As it is, the next major event on the prophecy timeline is the removal of all true believers, so that the wrath can take place. Whether he knows who he is right now or not, I firmly believe the antichrist is in the wings being prepared by Satan to make his entrance.
All – that’s everyone – who will call on the name of the Lord Jesus will be saved. This is in Acts 2:21 and Romans 10:13. Romans 10:9-13 gives the mechanics and promise from the Father about receiving the gift of Salvation.
There is not a whole lot of time left to decide, as Jesus could call at any moment. Choose now, and Choose wisely. Be like Joshua in Joshua 24:15, where he told the Israelites to choose who they would serve. As for him and his household, they would serve the Lord.
Today would not be too early to receive and accept the gift provided by our Savior. He’s waiting for you, but not for much longer.
Maranatha! (Come Lord Jesus!)”
I couldn’t have expressed it any better myself, P !!!
With all the “birth pangs” we’re seeing, just in our nation ALONE, we should all be looking up, as Jesus said that our redemption draws nigh.
And certainly, testimony to the truth of God’s Word that the end of the age is near, is the unexpected alliance of Russia, Iran and Turkey prophesied in Ezekiel 38 and 39.
Any moment now…

“An old veteran explains why the flag should be planted” by Danny Ray Berg (09/20/2020)
FTA: …..”As word got around the floor about what had happened, a wonderful thing took place. An American flag went up on another wall…and then another…and then another. After a few days there were flags everywhere. It was not a planned event…it was just heartfelt love for our country and our shared values…displayed proudly for all to see, by all who cared.
Which brings me to what I would suggest everyone do…
For lack of a better name I call it simply, “Plant a flag, watch it grow.” This is not a flag day thing, this is not a Veterans Day thing…this is a “from this day forward, everyday type of thing.””

El-Al Purchase Bringing About “Wings of Eagles” Prophecy
“Eli Rozenberg, a 27-year-old Orthodox Jewish New Yorker who made aliyah to Jerusalem five years ago, bought a controlling 42.85% stake in the Israeli airline El-Al with a $150 million offer. In a rather prophetic twist, his company is named Kanfei Nesharim, meaning that passengers will be flown to the Holy Land quite literally on the wings of eagles.”
https://www.israel365news.com/158527/el-al-purchase-bringing-about-wings-of-eagles-prophecy/
FTA: “First and foremost Kanfei Nesharim takes upon itself a great responsibility to restore the trust of passengers, and to ensure the jobs of thousands of El Al employees, and lead Israel’s airline into a secure future. Throughout recent months Kanfei Nesharim has proven its seriousness, commitment and financial ability to help rehabilitate El Al,” the company said in a statement following the purchase.
Rozenberg’s company name is derived from the Bible’s description of the Exodus from Egypt:
‘You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, how I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Me. Exodus 19:4
According to Jewish tradition, the final redemption will mirror the Exodus from Egypt and, therefore, the ingathering of the exiles could be described as being accomplished ‘on the wings of eagles.’ This was alluded to by the Prophet Isaiah.
But they who trust in Hashem shall renew their strength As eagles grow new plumes: They shall run and not grow weary, They shall march and not grow faint. Isaiah 40:31″
Hey President Trump, wanna see some liberal heads explode? Say that after you win the election – and Republicans hold the Senate – you just might add some seats to the Supreme Court. ?
Protests are reaching a tipping point in Bangkok. Military leadership and ‘royals’ are feeling pressure. https://www.straitstimes.com/asia/se-asia/whats-behind-thailands-protests-and-what-comes-nexthttps://www.bangkokpost.com/thailand/politics/1988655/police-mull-charges-against-protest-leaders
Old drunk nan is talking impeachment again…
Yes, that worked out well before.
What is it they say about doing the same thing over and over expecting different outcomes ?
🙂
It’s about all they’ve got.
Cool enough up in my neck of the woods that my better half decided it was time to make Chili! It’s on the stove now simmering in the 3 gallon pot. Chili is just one of those things that does not come out as well in a small batch. So, as usual we’ll be sharing with our neighbors.

Key terrain is very important but so is a year round reliable and secure source of potable water and food if those in such a fortification are to survive a long term siege. One can see a pool or cistern in the photo but would it last during the dry season?
lilbirdee12’s prayer:
Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.
Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.
Please place Your Guardian Angels of Protection around Donald Trump and Mike Pence and their families as they seek to lead America back to You. Also, we pray for Angels to protect and support our Sundance as he works for justice and peace.
Grant us patience, Lord, as the evil ones try to anger us and cause us to fall.
Spread blessings over Israel and Netanyahu.
We humbly ask that You please comfort those who are grieving and in pain.
Thank you Father, for Your Love and the gift of Life.
In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
Amen.
A prayer for Justice Kavanaugh and Gen. Flynn:
Prayer to St. Michael
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle;
be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do you, O prince of the heavenly host,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan and the other evil spirits
who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.
In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
Amen.
Amen.
CTH Friends,
Came across and interesting article (via Lou Rockwell), which gives a succinct explanation about the front that is known as BLM and its financing:
https://www.unz.com/mwhitney/blms-war-on-the-deplorables/
Now I would normally want to provide a majority of the article in a quotation; however, it is very long and I do not wish to take up all the space on the open thread.
This part, caught me as important:
“Last summer, the Ford Foundation, one of the most powerful private foundations in the world, announced that it was organizing to channel $100 million to the Black Lives Movement over the next six years… In a statement of support, Ford called for the group to grow and prosper. “We want to nurture bold experiments and help the movement build the solid foundation that will enable it to flourish.”…
From the beginning, the “mothers of the movement” Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors and Opal Tometi…specifically opposed uniting blacks, whites and immigrants against the brutal class-war policies of the capitalist state. Instead, the group did its best to confine anti-police violence protests within the framework of the capitalist system and push a racialist and pro-capitalist agenda.
Even prior to 2013, however, all three of t he cofounders had developed close ties to corporations, foundations, academia and/or government-sponsored agencies. Tometi, in particular, was a well-known quantity in these circles. She had spoken at the UN … had been to the White House and met with Obama liaison Heather Foster, and addressed the Aspen Institute, a high-level think tank associated with the US military and intelligence community….”
Please recall that anytime you see the Ford Foundation, you should just substitute the title with CIA. Stanley Dunham (Barry’s mother) was employed by Timmy Geithner’s daddy at this organization, and good old Stanley, the anthropologist, was Langley to the core (as is Barry).
It is worth a look if you are interested in how this front is being used by big business and how thwy all wish to silence us in the future.
Best…
Please God, help President Trump find a real Constitutionalist to fill the latest vacancy on the Supreme Court. Also. please help Mitch McConnell find the votes, in that Swamp that is the United States Senate, to get a quick confirmation. The forces of evil are showing all of their cards. The USA needs help yet again. Sometimes I think humanity is just missing something we need so we can solve our political differences. And God, protect our President and guide him through the rest of this year and the years to come. Amen.
Trump now has the Democrats where he wants them. He needs to keep the pressure on them, but make sure the country knows he is still working hard to make good on his promises. This is the one characteristic that Trump shares with no previous President in my memory, and I go back about 13 Presidents. I believe this is his most powerful campaign message: Keeping the promises! I believe this will be more important in the next six weeks than anything else to the voters. I think of the lyrics in the old Merle Haggard song “Rainbow Stew” . I also hope all of us keep praying for his continuing safety.
